• Sliva (9/5): Výborný poměr cena/výkon. Velice ochotný personál. - Snídaně chystaná na míru a ještě na čas, který mi nejvíce vyhovoval. Ochotný personál. Kromě totálně proleženého polštáře, na kterém se nedalo spát, nemám nic, co bych vytknul.

• Tomáš Gréser (9/5): Útulný rodinný penzión s ústretovým majiteľom. - Nič mi nechýbalo. Vždy ocením veľký sprchovací kút, možnosti posedenia v kresle, pohodlnú posteľ, ako aj nie štandard (bohužiaľ) v podobe dostatku tekutého mydla v kúpeľni a šampón k tomu. Napriek počiatočnému problematickému parkovaniu, nakoľko v čase môjho príchodu boli všetky 4 možnosti bezplatného parkovania nepoužiteľné, nakoniec som zaparkoval k spokojnosti priamo pred penziónom. Okolité ulice sa totiž nachádzajú v platenej zóne.

• David (8/5): Einfache Pension - Sehr nette Gastgeberin die sich persönlich vor Ort um alles kümmert. Somit war ein später Check-In auch möglich. Zimmer sind teilweise mit kleiner Küche und Kühlschrank ausgestattet und ein großer Balkon war auch dabei. Die Einrichtung ist nicht mehr im besten Zustand und nicht schön.

• Max (10/5): Very nice owners and good value for money - Very nice owners. I was able to store my bicycle in their garden behind closed doors. The room was pretty small but very functional and you get good value for money. It can be hot in the room during the day in the summer but cools off during the night.
• Josef (10/5): Exceptional - We had planned our first cycling trip in Slovakia and for our first trip our first stop was to be Ilava. We were extremely fortunate that we ended up choosing Pension Daniel for our first pit stop. Not only was the location ideal ( barely a few kilometres ) as soon as you enter Ilava, Daniel the owner was very kind and hospitable right from the moment we arrived totally exhausted. He helped us park our cycles in a safe spot in the garden. Showed us our room which were spic and span. There were also complimentary toiletries ( thank god for that ! ) , clean beds and sheets with a functional tv with multiple channels. ( some of us need to watch tv before we can sleep ) For Dinner we were recommended a cozy pub nearby which had all the varieties of Pizza that one could ask for. We of course settled for the Pizza that was called “Slovakia “. The morning after was great as well. Breakfast was cooked and served by Daniel himself. With unlimited coffee, juice, and huge serving of Ham and Eggs we were ready to take on what the day had to offer. Before leaving Daniel was kind enough to suggest an alternate route to our next stop helping us avoid gravel paths which resulted in us completing our journey in a timely manner. Can only recommend this place for anyone passing by or thinking of stoping in Illava. Pension Daniel is the place to stay in this city.
• Gergely (9/5): Clean and nicely renovated room - The room is nicely renovated and very clean. Lots of parking spaces are available on the street. The heating of the room is efficient. The toilet seat is too small, uncomfortable.
