• Charity (1/5): Don’t stay here unless you like stinky rooms and bugs. - Nothing I was told to send these and I still have not gotten anywhere with getting my full refund. Johnathan was very rude when I explained to him what happened again. He argued that the rooms were just renovated and they were years ago. And this room was horrid and no one should be allowed to stay in these. Bugs and no fire alarms bed was not the size it was supposed to be. Then to Top it off we didn’t even get the deluxe room we were suppose to get with kitchen all we got was a microwave. We even went and bought cleaner and it did not help anything. Was so gross.

• Jill (3/5): Unexceptionable!! - The room! It was freshly remodeled. It had flooring not carpet. It was clean. The toilet would not flush and the tv didn't work. I called the office about the toilet and no one ever came to look at it. The neighbors had there mess everywhere outside of there room. At night the neighbors would bang on the walls and move stuff around and yell at each other. We maybe got 4 hours of sleep. We turned the key in at 6am. I told the office guy I was really upset and we were not coming back. He said nothing!
• Steven (3/5): Thank goodness for being upgraded. - The Westerly was overbooked so our reservation was upgraded to the Days Inn which was very nice. The Westerly Motel seems to have permanent residents in most of the units making it seem uncomfortable. It appeared that low income residents were living there.

Appalled at the amount of garbage a - Location, assigned parking to ensure space by door, refrigerator and microwave were clean and working, good selection of TV channels (cable) Trash piled up in front of longer-term occupants’ door, dog feces on property, sitting room furniture was ragged and broken down, no table as in pictures, had to walk across the street to another property to get toilet paper, keypad stopped working so I had to walk in the dark to manager at another property to get key, no hot water, bathroom door was stuck to floor and would not close without tugging on it, no toilet paper holder, desk employees were not able to access my reservation to change

• Eley (1/5): Scarey movie setting. - Nothing, was Extremely misleading!! Westerly motel was a scarey dive. Looked like people actually lived in rooms and what was lived in we wouldn't have wanted to stay in. We went to the door that said Vacancy and was eventually greeted by some guy who told us that it was a private residency of his girlfriend who was in the shower. I told him that we had a confirmed reservation and he told us that we check in at the days inn across the street. We went across the street to the days inn and while I was using their bathroom Ron had talked to the guy and he comped us to a upgraded room there for no cost if we wanted. Both Ron and I said yes please at the same time, as neither of us wanted to stay across the street. Great room, even has a mini fridge and a microwave.

If my boyfriend and I was not so tired from traveling we would have left. It was then dirty thank god I brought my own bedding. We made the best out of a stressful situation..

The breakfast good, they had doots open all the time so mass flies in the way. Guess they hungry too. I booked Westerly Motel but the sign said check in at Days Inn. Across street at Days no hello or welcome. Joshua at desk busy talking to maintenance so i felt i was interruption In fact i don't think he has customer experience I had to interrupt him a few times while there never say hi and acknowledged me.the hospitality staff very courteous. Dont think i will be back.

• Maria (10/5): - The corner room allowed view of street from 2 different areas, there is a small fridge, one microwave and a coffee maker. The surprise was a massage chair. The bedroom was small with no place for clothes. Bathroom was very clean but there was no toilet paper holder! The TV was way too big for the room. We will stay there again. Breakfast is across the street in the Days Inn.
• Joshua (2/5): Do not stay here - The room smelled terrible from the initial opening of the door. It smelled of mold, dampness and just moldy/must. The bed was made with fitted sheet, damp blanket, flat sheet and then another damp blanket. The blankets had holes that looked like cigarette burns and there was stitching on at least one of them. The floors were uneven and absolutely terrible. The LVP was torn up either from the bed or from a hammer. The bathroom was disgusting. The towels were laid out on the top of the toilet covering the push button. The toilet paper was sitting on top of that as the toilet paper holder was torn from the wall, thankfully either thrown away or hidden, but still gone. It was incredibly odd that I had to go to the Days Inn nearby to get my keys. I honestly wish I had stayed there instead. I will never stay here again, and I would never recommend anyone ever stay there.

• Cathy (6/5): - The office is a block away. Other people smoke right outside their rooms and the smoke smell comes in my room. Handy to beach and staying with a dog. Will not stay there again.
• Julie (8/5): - I was on a tight budget; you get what you pay for. The recliner didn’t recline as the handle to put feet up did nothing. Although there was a mini pot to heat water there was no way/ place to plug it in unless you sat under the counter. Wifi was sketchy. But I was there for the ocean. Bed was comfy.
• Verified traveler (2/5): Shelter for Homeless people of all nations. - The westerly motel is totally different in reality then it's advertised or pictured on websites. I reserved 2 rooms for our party and on the website it says sleeps 5 per room with a queen bed and a sofa bed. In one room it was only 1 bed and the other room had 1 bed and barely working sofa bed that was all super dirty, stained and smelled of cigarette smoke. The rooms both smelled of mold and one also of the cigarette smoke. Huge rip off, will never stay again and don't recommend to anyone. When asked for a different room or some discount, neither one was provided.

• Jeffery (10/5): Better than a big boring hotel chain - Cool little spot. It's quiet and off the main road through town, but not too far away to be inconvenient.
• René (2/5): - We were told in the booking there were two beds and that the room had cooking facilities. There was one bed, no cooking facilities, no night stands on which to put necessary items. The toilet paper was sitting on the window sill and was rough and of poor quality. The clerk tried charging $10.00 extra per hour for early check in, and he argued about trivial matters. The room was cramped, and the hairdryer and bathroom fan were out of order. It was the worst place I have ever stayed in.
• clay (2/5): - First thing was we had to check-in at an entirely different hotel which was not expected at all. Second, within minutes of looking at the room the shower curtain slammed onto the floor before we even entered the bathroom and when I picked it up it was soaking wet. The coffee maker not only already had old water in it but was cracked all over the place. The paper cups were stuck together as if they were stacked wet. The couch cushions were very stained, the blanket on the bed was MAJORLY stained and actually moist with holes. The towels in the bathroom were already wet as well. The windows in the bedroom and bathroom were open upon arrival, and the bedroom had a hole in the wall from the door knob. There was no air conditioning or ability to adjust the thermostat to a cooler temperature so it was very hot and very muggy. The bathroom door wouldn't lock even with the push button lock. Our key didn't seem to lock the front door from the outside and had to be locked from the inside when we would leave. Amenities like the pool, hot tub and breakfast mentioned in the booking site were at the separate hotel we had to check-in. The pool actually had a section of the ceiling that seemed heavily damaged and almost falling in. I absolutely would not recommend this facility to anyone especially for a charge of $175 for one night. And definitely hope for some sort of refund.
• Nikki (4/5): - Room was not level fridge & living room side table were slanted. No linens for extra bed & only 2 towels in the room. Rooms definitely have moisture problems. Guy working the front desk wasn't friendly at all but the girl working the evening shift was very nice & helpful & got us bedding & their last 2 towels. Breakfast was disappointing, same guy was just sitting at the desk instead of replenishing breakfast items...waffle mix, eggs & juices were all empty! Bees were everywhere ...wasn't terrible but definitely room for improvement
• Rebecca (6/5): - The room was small but updated and clean. Need was comfortable. Only one bar of soap for both sink and shower. Dining room at Days Inn was a big negative! Not clean, dead bugs, a coffee pot from one of the rooms just sitting happy on a table of "stuff",half empty containers and empty boxes just sitting around. A guy came to fill it replace the juice and dropped it across the floor then left the mess. Regular the napkins but some feel in the floor and he just walked of and left them. It did not feel clean.
• Molly (2/5): Filthy & SCAM - Do Not Stay Here - This motel is filthy and a total SCAM. My family of 4 booked a room with a bed and pull-out couch, the pull-out was UNUSABLE. It had literal dried dog poop on it (or at least I hope it was from a dog), it was covered in black hairs, and had red and black stains. The rooms reek of cigarettes and mold. The floor was covered in sand. The "indoor pool and free breakfast" exist at the Days Inn a block and a half away. There is no golf course that I saw...this is all false advertising. We got in late with young kids so had to stay the first night. In the morning I spoke with the owner Jill who told me she would honor a refund for our next two nights despite the booking being nonrefundable. When I contacted Hotels.com and they contacted Jill, she refused a refund and instead offered a ridiculous coupon for a future 2 night stay... On the second night we were supposed to be there, the motel contacted me at 9PM to confirm we weren't coming back so they could double-book the room for a different family despite having charged me for the full 3 nights. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Room number 7 wasnt bad, we did have room number 9 first but wasn't enough room (felt very stuffy in room number 9) sheets were sandy in bed, but shower was nice and room seemed decently cleaned.I would recommended having all white sheets for a more cleanliness feel. I would stay there again if being in a bind. Good location to all restaurants. They offered a simple continental breakfast across the street along with pool and hot tub. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
• Ashley (4/5): - When booking our family stay, the photos look way better then in person. We switched rooms 2 times, thought I was getting a queen with a pull out sofa, 1 st room had a chase and small recliner and small bed. Moved to second room and it was not clean, dirt and hair all over the bathroom. Pull out couch was dirty, did not want my kids to sleep on it, there was a dirty broken recliner in the room also. 3rd room, we switched to we had one with a kitchenette. Twin pull out bed and small very uncomfortable bed low to ground, bed room doors can not close, and no walk space. My son slept on a twin, i had to use the couch cushions for my daughter to sleep on and baby in the kitchen in her play pen. Overall not worth the money. We got to walk and eat breakfast and swim in the pool, but there was flies everywhere and the pool water was not the cleanest....this stay cost over $300 and is not worth the price. The staff were helpful but overall not a clean or big enough space, pictures make it look nicer then what it is.

The westerly is an old school motel with parking right outside the room doors. The walls are paper thin. A member of staff had a huge shouty rant at a friend of hers/maybe another member of staff when she came to clean the room next door, every word of which was loud and clear. We wanted to make up the pull out bed for extra room but there was no spare bedding to do so - totally fine, went to ask for some at days inn, no problem. There was still bedding (clearly used) on the pull out bed from however many guests ago. Pull out mattress and

• NATALIE (4/5): - The staff was willing to listen. Not willing to accommodate to relocate our room or refund either of our 2 day stay. This was to due to very thin walls and able to hear others having sex and aruging. I didnt feel safe with my son or on our yealry vaction to ocean shores happy and at ease. Room was every small, bedroom only had a large bed and couldnt close bedroom door or walk around bed. Tv was not able to watch tv. Had to connect my own account to watch tv. Sleep didnt happen for me because i was on alert the whole time. Had to walk a block away for morning breakfast and coffee and towles and to use to pool. I hope they do make changes as to a smaller bed and maybe a tv in bedroom and moving guest when there are children present.

• George (8/5): - The room was you get what you pay for! I am not a perfectionist so was able to tolerate any downfalls, It was clean yet aged. So go for it, we are planning to return as the room was almost half priced AND it is the closest hotel to the beach, walking time about 3-4 minutes in Ocean Shores.

Smelled musty damp in the room, some stains on the walls, old broken picture frame hanging up. The lady who checked us in at 3 came and unlocked our door and entered our room at 10:30 at night. Thank goodness for my dog. That was ridiculous. Who does that. That was scary. Then the ppl that got a room next door to us at 10:30 were loud and slamming doors. We had to ask if they were about done being noisy.

• Nicole (6/5): - It was clean and close to everything and I liked having a kitchen, however I feel like the pictures are a little misleading. It was very small and the walls were very thin. We were able to use pool at Days inn so this was a plus.
• Nick (4/5): - This place got the job done for what we needed: a quick place to stay for the night between hiking stops. That said, we felt dirty the whole time, floors and furniture. Also our room was definitely and noticeably on a slight slant. Side note: we ran out of toilet paper fairly quick and just decided to hold it upon leaving. Also, there were no bath towels and again decided waiting to shower was a risk worth taking.

• Josh (2/5): - We stayed at the westerly six years ago and had a pleasant experience so we rebooked it six year later expecting the same thing. We showed up and the room we had was next to a room with an eviction notice on the door. The person in this room had their garbage spilling out the front door. Their van that was parked in front of their room was filled to the brim with garbage. People were walking around the building and walking into that room. You could hear their conversations through the wall. The WiFi wouldn’t work. There was agressive dogs on the property. We went to the days inn (which the same owner owns) and asked to be switched to that property. The owner was sitting at the desk with the front desk girl when we came forward with our concerns and walked away saying “the wifi doesn’t work” that was his biggest concern not the homeless people taking over his motel. He left her to clean up his mess he allowed to stay like a coward. We were told that during the off season he rents out rooms monthly at both places and you could tell at both properties people were living there. Save your money and book somewhere else. These properties are not safe for families or dogs and are poorly managed and the owner clearly doesn’t care about the safety of guests and only about filling his pocketbook.
• Shane (2/5): - Pulled into the parking lot and saw a red minivan full of household items, with a blanket covering the sliding door. Another beat up car was parked across from it with a chained up dog beside it. This is the hotel that the semi homeless drug addicts stay at. Our unit looked nothing like the photos and was dirty. It was also tiny, way too small for us and our two small children, uncle and niece. It was the only place available for a not very well planned getaway on short notice. The listing photos are extremely misleading. They also Do Not have a pool or breakfast on site, you have to drive down the street to the Days inn that is owned by the same person, and this is somehow considered an amenity of the Westerly. The front desk lady was however awesome, gave me a full refund when I went and checked out early. She was very aware of the issues that tend to occur at the Westerly. They are working on fixing it up and someday it may be the charming place we thought it could have been.

• Brittany (2/5): Waste of time and money - This hotel was absolutely disgusting. There was stains, food, and toe nails on the pullout bed. All the furniture is “wet” from moisture and it smells so badly of mildew. There is no pool at this hotel, you have to go to the Days Inn to use their pool. To put it nicely, Joseph at Days Inn (where you have to check-in) was UNBEARABLE. It took us half an hour to check-in after repeatedly showing him our reservation. We stayed in the room a whole 10 min. before booking at another hotel. I knew I shouldn’t have picked a hotel with a “no cancellation policy”, red flag! What a waste of $380!

I was charged twice through Expedia and the hotel and after showing them proof (that they asked for) they still refused to give me back one of my refunds. So basically i lose an $112 for nothing. I emailed them my bank statement showing clearly both charges and still nothing.

• Shauna C (2/5): - The worst experience I've ever had staying at a motel, by far. At check in the desk clerk was gossiping with someone on the phone and seemed annoyed with us. He said to wait for a moment and went to another room to continue gossiping. After about 5min we got the key to the room and it has not been cleaned and smelled moldy. Went back to let the clerk know and it was a solid 10 min while he tried to figure out what room to put us in. When he finally figured it out, he couldn't find the key for the new room. Ended up giving us the master key so we could get in and said he would call a locksmith. After a while we got our own key. The lamp was falling apart and as I was trying to move it I found a piece of a meth pipe. Our friend was supposed to sleep on the pull out sofa, when we pulled it out the sheets were dirty. We found some 'clean' linens on a shelf, both had enormous stains on them and the extra blanket had cigarette burn holes in it. Besides that, pool and breakfast are not on-site, they are a block down the road so it was very inconvenient to access either. Not that you would want to. Breakfast was cereal, stale bread and yogurt. The only saving grace was the waffle machine. The pool looked suspicious and the hot tub had a green tinge to it. I will never stay at the Westerly or at the Days Inn associated with it. (That was where the pool and breakfast were). I literally can't say enough bad things about this place, I'm lucky I didn't get bed bugs.
• Karma (6/5): - Its fine for a night. Its small. But it feels unsafe. The door jam is coming off the wall and thats what the chain lock is attached to. Theres a hole in the bathroom where the fan is, letting in cold air. We put a towel at bottom of door and kept it closed all night. The remotes didnt work to control the volume. Couldn't sleep with tv on which i like but thats ok. No cups in the room for coffee. The blankets were super thin. And it smelled like mildew. Like i said, good for a night but i would have had a problem staying longer.

• Justine (8/5): - It is an older facility, but in fairly decent condition. The room is very small, especially the bathroom. I must commend Kira the onsite manager, she was very accommodating to remedy a couple of issues.
• tony (2/5): Old cheap motel, no frills. - To check-in you have to go accross the steet to days inn. When we arrived days inn could not find the reservation which I showed them the confirmation number. After 20 minutes they finally found the reservation and checked us in. When we arrived to the room, it was not the one with a kitchen which we paid more for. The place is old with uneven floors a ramp to get into the bathroom. The wall art was not hanging on the wall it was sitting on the floor with a table pushed up against it. Very small parking lot. It was cheap.
• Mary (10/5): Exceptional - It was a good location to my favorite irish pub . The place was clean. Very friendly staff. Price was reasonable. Would definitely stay again

• Sanders (2/5): It's a meh place to stay - I like how it was kinda like a tiny home. The beds were horride, the bathroom mirror was broken as well as the hair dryer, the door didn't lock and the neighbors were up all night slamming doors.

• Verified traveler (8/5): - Really lovely and cozy. Quite small but not too bad. It unfortunately had thin walls, and neighbors could easily be heard. Wish it had a full kitchen, as I had assumed I purchased the deluxe with the full kitchen because we were staying for a while. Over all it didn’t spoil the experience, and we actually miss it!

• Sherilyn (8/5): Very good - Great dog friendly room. Perfect for a weekend or a two day get away. Room is a bit on the small side. I can never figure out the TV.

• Kim (8/5): We have met the owner and he is willing to fix any problems that may come up. - We have stayed here a few times a year over the past couple of years. It is always clean, close to restaurants and the beach, but still far enough away, that you’re not right in the middle of it all…. It’s comfortable as well. I only have one complaint, I didn’t read the description correctly and we ended up having a queen size room and no kitchenette. :( but that’s on me.

• Tonya (2/5): - I booked a room for three adults. The room didn't have the sofa sleeper it said it did. You could not navigate a wheelchair through the room . The room smelt like mildew or mold we couldn't breath without tasting it. The purple haired front desk lady was so very rude and when I asked for the manager she said she was it. After waiting for her to get off the phone from a personal call after twenty minutes with others waiting to check in, I was told there was nothing she could do. Couldn't refund the charge cause I booked through Expedia. The room wasn't what I was led to believe it would be. No breakfast, no indoor pool, not enough beds and definitely not a handicap friendly place. I will not be booking with this place again and plan to tell my family and friends how awful I had of an experience dealing with this company and their representatives.

• Robert (2/5): - The pictures and condition of this property are in no way indictive of the current condition. I imagine they were taken when the property was refurbished many years prior. It was in general disrepair, window screens broken or missing, doorknobs and locks that appeared to be cheap and unsecure and that was without access to see the condition of the actual rooms. It is operated by Days Inn down the street, that is where the amenities (pool, spa, continental breakfast) are located and there is no one on site to check in or provide assistance. We arrived pre-check-in to find some people drinking and smoking in close proximity to where our room would have been located. We traveled to Days Inn and asked to see a room and the reception desk told us there weren't any available to look at, that the cleaning crew was delay and that the room would not be available until after the posted time. After additional consideration, we decided to forego our stay. I attempted to receive a refund but was told to no refunds, no exceptions. This property is totally unacceptable base on the pictures represented and one would be wise to consider other options. It's a very poor business practice to refuse a refund based on the conditions being different than what is represented. It appears to be a quaint older motel, we found it to be anything but.

The bedroom floor had poop on it when we got there. The staff told me to come get cleaning stuff and clean it up because they could not get away.

• Laura (6/5): Enjoyed our stay - Breakfast was at the Days Inn and was ok. Would have been nice to have some protein. Location was good. Room was clean but small. Meets basic needs. Good value for the cost. Would be nice if Wifi login was posted. Room was a little cramped not much room for luggage.
• Brian (5/5): Passable - There was no breakfast. We rented a room with a kitchen but there was no kitchen. We had to change rooms. Bed was good. Water press was good. When we got room with the kitchen, there was no oven pan to make french fries or steaks on, but they did bring them over The yard could b nicer
• Kristin (7/5): Good - The couch and main room were comfortable and the TV and wifi worked well. The bed was not very comfortable. The shower control was hard to use and difficult to get the hot water on and then difficult to turn it off.

• Linda (1/5): Won't stay here again - Location by the beach Staff was rude on check out she was just so rude . Your guy checking us in was worried we'd steal a blanket wow lol so we did bring into office all items blanket sheets coffee pot and fan he gave us . Your lady that was there second day said how's your stay but then provided to tell us how awful the motel was we were staying at and she could not promote it . Wow ... but the guy and her were nice just a bit much . The room was so small you couldn't even shut the bedroom door and the bathroom sink was so wobblely it was scarey . No room to move didn't even unpack due to being not able to move around freely in bedroom to unpack . Didn't really use anything but fridge after we cleaned it . It was all rather gross and needs a good scrub. We had to ask the cleaning crew how to use the tv they came and figured it out for us so they were awesome we had no tv the first day and night your staff had no idea how to use it . Oh and also I had to call my bank and they issued me a new credit card because your guy that checked us in wrote down my credit card # on the paper that's completely NOT OKAY! Never has anyone done that . So I won't stay there again . The breakfast was also very crowed and just gave me aniexty we didn't bother with it cause the selection was awful it was dirty there just no.
