Brian (8/5): Lovely accommodation - We stayed in a lovely upper villa within the secure grounds, the gardens are very nice and there is an outdoor pool. We had dinner in the restaurant on the first night, the menu is limited, but my wife loved the steak and I enjoyed my chicken dish. The portions were very large and the wine by the glass very good, all at a reasonable cost. The over bath shower wasn’t very good and the curtain became like a shroud when showering. Replacing with a shower panel would definitely help. The breakfast was no better than average, a very small selection which never appeared to be refreshed. The eggs appeared almost identical whether you ordered omelette or scrambled, and came served on a saucer. That said they were tasty enough.
Robert (10/5): A picture postcard of a venue. - A beautiful setting in a lovely garden environment! The full breakfast each morning was prepared and offered a la carte. The only very small improvement I would offer is with the pool. It didn't appear to have moving water and contained some debris from overhead trees.

They were so helpful in setting up day trips/adventures. Such kind and friendly staff. Very helpful in setting up a couple of day trips to the mountains and to go to wine tasting. They set everything up.

Kim (10/5): Highly recommend! - The staff as Casa Glebinias was fantastic, communicating proactively on WhatsApp, before and during our stay. They helped me with tours, transportation to and from the airport, reservations at the restaurant, luggage drop off, etc. The grounds were immaculate and our room was big, super clean, and just so pleasant. It's a bit out of town, so you definitely need a cab (Uber isn't as readily available) to and from the airport. We walked 15 minutes to a good restaurant recommendation from the front desk. I would stay her again and again when going to Mendoza -- thank you, Casa Glebinias! It's a bit out of town

It is a family run hotel but they were so responsive to our every need and immediately too care of any issues. They made us feel like we were the only guests there. The accommodation is unique, comfortable, and relaxed, and tastefully presented in a classy manner without any glitz. The grounds are impeccable and well maintained and contribute to a peaceful, serene vibe you sense throughout your stay. Breakfast, included in our reservation, was top notch. Most importantly, all the staff were so welcoming, friendly, cheerful, and helpful and truly conveyed a sense of pride in Casa Glebinias, including I might add, the wonderful Esperanza, who always greeted our comings and goings with a friendly greeting and vigorous tail wagging. There is nothing “cookie cutter” about Casa Glebinias; it is an unique and exceptional accommodation. I am so grateful to have chosen it for our stay in the Mendoza area.
Anita (7/5): Peaceful and beautiful stay - Lovely and peaceful lodging. You can hear the birds chirping. So much greenery and beauty. Breakfast spread was great. Giuliana and Federica were super helpful and kind in making reservations and guiding us on things to do. I highly recommend! The only thing I suggest is to cut back some of the branches on the bushes where guests walk to the buildings. We kept having to duck and dodge branches on the way to our lodging. Also, all kitchen staff should be washing their hands if they pet the cats or dog.

Keith (10/5): - The staff is wonderfully helpful. Esperanza is the friendliest dog in Argentina! Their restaurant has a limited but very nice menu and good wine list. Other restaurants are within walking distance. We always stay here when we are in Mendoza.

The staff is friendly and breakfast was nice. - This is a beautiful large garden area with a beautiful mainhouse/restaurant and little casitas with 2 rooms. There is a very large pool. You don’t need a car because you have a lot of cafes and restaurant within 10-30min walking distance and chacras the coria is safe and we liked walking there. You can hear everything from the other room in the casita. The rooms are dark and the bathroom especially has bad lighting. The bed has strange bedding which can’t all be washed between guests. You can only pay for your stay in cash in USD. So we had to make a wire transfer with a 4% fee on the total amount. This we didn’t like.
David (8/5): - The best part about our stay was the service. The people working at the front desk were incredibly helpful starting months before our stay. Using WhatsApp, I spoke with them from the US and they helped coordinate and plan several of our activities, including a great couples massage on premise. I also told them we were staying for my wife’s birthday and they gave us a bottle of champagne free of charge and bought a cake from a local bakery that was ready when we arrived. Other than the service, the hotel and grounds itself were average but good value for the price we paid. The grounds are beautiful, but the pool was a little dirty and the chairs outside could use an update. The room itself was large and clean but also a bit dated and the bathroom could use an update. I would also not recommend eating at their restaurant for dinner. We paid up for a special Christmas dinner, which was very disappointing. Overall, good experience and value for the price, super helpful staff, good location for nearby restaurants and wineries.

Perfect location for visiting wineries, dining in amazing local restaurants, and relaxing within the property. We enjoyed every minute of being there, and the staff (Federica, Giuliana, Romi, Cecilia, plus all the kitchen staff) were beyond professional, helpful and friendly. We also had the opportunity to meet Alberto, the owner, a true gentleman who is passionate about his beautiful hotel and the comfort and happiness of his guests. We very highly recommend Casa Glebinias to anyone visiting Mendoza.

They were available to message anytime on whatsapp, and were prompt and helpful with their responses! The property itself is SO BEAUTIFUL and serene. We stayed in an amazing stone house, that was cool and quiet, and so comfortable. The beds were EXCEPTIONAL. Best night sleep we had on the whole trip. Every morning you step out into their gardens and feel such an amazing sense of calm. The breakfast room is also so dreamy. I wish I could live there.
Cary (8/5): Cute little B&B! Very lush with excellent staff! - The grounds were lush and the staff was great! The room was spacious! Needed a little TLC. Room needs a little updating and the grounds should be trimmed. However it’s been a rainy year so maybe that’s why it’s a little over grown. Didn’t love hearing the neighbors dogs barking and birds chirping so much!

The location, since it was far from the Chacras de Coria city center. We had to get around by uber/cabify, which took 20-30mins to arrive, since there are not that many drivers available.

David (8/5): Not a hotel, fine if you’re happy to self cater! - First, the staff are great they cannot do enough for you. The place has excellent reviews but with a one year old we had to reconsider and relocate. It is apparent that hotels.com has some facilities listed which do not exist, which give the impression of a full service luxury hotel which unfortunately is not the case, (eg, 24 hour reception, bathrobes and slippers in the room, pool umbrellas, snack bar, children’s playground are all listed but don’t exist). Also, after breakfast and until the restaurant opens again at 5.30pm there are no open facilities here, and considering the remoteness of the place this would have been difficult to for us to manage with our toddler in tow. We were also disappointed in the room furnishings itself although I think we had managed to pick the worst cabin on the lot - where others looked roomy and light with big windows and fully furnished patios, ours was dingy and dark and our ‘furnished patio’ was three rusty, uncovered iron chairs that were uncomfortable at best and dangerous at worst. I was told repeatedly that if I’d checked their website I would have known all this, and they claimed that hotels.com is not a reliable source of info! I have stayed in many budget hotels and lodges of these types, and they are fine if you are not paying over the odds - however, at £200 per night, this is far below the standard I would have expected for this price.

Vania (10/5): - This hotel will forever be one of our all time favorites. I knew from the reviews that it would be great but our stay superseded all our expectations. We stayed at Casa de los Cipreses and we really enjoyed it. The house is perfect and spacious and so clean. The breakfast was wonderful and the dining experience was excellent. It felt like we had our own private chef as he was flexible with our dining request and the food was simply delicious. The staff made our stay memorable. They helped us organize our last day as we had quite a bit of time between the check out and our flight out of Mendoza which was at 9 pm. They scheduled a lunch at a Bodega and arranged for a private tour of the city and a drop off at the airport. We really were very grateful for all of their help and kindness. I don’t know how a hotel manages to create such a winning combination between the actual property and the staff but the owner sure has. Do not hesitate to book this property should you be in the area, I promise you will be forever pleased with your memories.

The uniqueness of the park-like grounds, the tasteful period rooms within the classic casas, as well as the exceptional staff (Cecilia, Giuliana, Shannon...), all contribute to make this undoubtedly a repeat visit. Jeremy (6/5): Severely overcharged for having booked via booking.com instead of directly with the hotel - The primary "issue" is that we wish that we had booked directly with the, hotel rather than through booking.com. Having booked with booking.com, we were ultimately charged 70% more than we would have been had we booked directly. If we had1booked directly, the hotel would have charged us in ARS based on the daily "official" government-determined exchange rate at check-out, namely 197.25 ARS per 1 USD. Instead they charged us at a rate exactly 70% greater (335.35 ARS per 1 USD). Booking.com would be doing its customers a big favor to not list this property while such a huge discrepancy exists between what customer will ultimately pay between reserving directly with the hotel vs. reserving via booking.com. For our brief 3-night stay, the discrepancy approximated 74,600 ARS, which is $378 at the official ARS/USD exchange rate. Regarding a more mundane issue, the air-conditioning unit in our room was entirely inadequate (could not keep up with the February heat). We stayed at this hotel in 2018 and provided at that time an outstanding 5-star review on Tripadvisor. Since our primary "issue" this year is that we were severely over-charged because we booked via booking.com, instead of booking directly, we will write a Tripadvisor review this year that specially recommends not booking through an agency.

The staff was great and very helpful in all aspect including setting up local excersions. No snack or food available between breakfast and dinner ..... If one decides to stay on the property for the day, one must provide his/her own food in the provided kitchen. Be ready to pay in dollars or with modified "blue" conversion VS. the "official" conversion rate !!! Did NOT expect that.

The staff are very friendly and helpful, helping us plan day trips and overall just excellent service levels. The food in the restaurant is excellent. Would definitely come back and recommend to friends visiting Mendoza. Its located near the wineries (we visited Kaiken and Alta Vista which were great). Very homely atmosphere.
