- Nigel (9/5): Spectacular setting for a well designed modern cabin - This is a modern well equipped unit with an excellent location high above the plain, with a view to the ocean and with the first immediately behind. It has a great gas powered hot tub and is spacious with good facilities. Karamea itself is a lovely settlement with a great bakery and a good cafe. The lighting is pretty harsh and could do with a rethink, a small point, though.
- Adrian (10/5): Loved it. Could have stayed a lot longer. - Location is superb with extensive views over the Tasman sea. Lovely deck and huge windows means you can appreciate this fabulous place whatever the weather. Dark skies give a fantastic view of the stars. Lighting in the main living room is a little harsh and the positon of the sofa means nto ideal for watching TV (but why woudl you anyway!).
