Staff are exceptionally helpful and accommodated my late check in! I only wish I could stay a bit longer or arrive earlier to check out the on-site bar! Liked everything!

- Hunt (6/5): - Availability when booking at short notice. Location, there were no other facilities (cafe's, convenience store or the like) close to the accommodation. This was an issue as there was limited breakfast and lunch options at the Inn.
- Liz (7/5): Good rest for 2 weary travellers on a budget - it meet ouΕ needs it was good for our budget

- Terry Hooper (2/5): not impressive, but at least a place to sleep - Did not have breakfast, but room was ok I had great difficulty getting into building, was let in by a client, not staff, even though I had advised in advance I would arrive late, and advised that would be ok. Had difficulty convincing them I was booked in and had prepaid. Could not access the car park as gate was locked, had to park on the street..
- RICHARD (6/5): A place in the countryside. - 1. The property has been around for a while judging by the appearance but was generally clean and mostly reasonably maintained.
2. Similarly, the rooms... the linens and towels as well as the mattresses, pillows, blankets and linens were clean,
3. The pantry has a fridge and a microwave oven for the convenience of guests as well as cutleries.
4. There is onsite parking, and I was told by Mr Singh (the onsite attendant who checked us in as well as answered to our queries & service requests) that the gate to the parking lot would be locked at 11pm. 1. The location is about 5km from Palmerston North city center so having your own transport would be a requirement.
2. The hot-cold mixer for the shower in our room as well as a couple of those in the common bathrooms did not provide good control of the mixing... generally, too hot. This is after intervention by Mr Singh.

- yan (10/5): -
- shannon (4/5): Disappointing - It was quiet and the room was clean.
Except for the stale chips in the bedside table draw Had to slam bedroom door for it to lock properly.
There was old milk and rotting food in both fridges. Rubbish bin in kitchen was full and rubbish sitting next to it.
There were no spoons for making coffee or having breakfast with and somebody uses all the milk that we brought that had our name on it.

- Ila (9/5): A good entry-level place to stay, comfortable beds and friendly staff. - Extremely friendly staff and accommodating to the needs of myself and the people I had with me. The beds were comfortable and for the price the facilities were to be expected. Less of a didn't like but things to be aware of, the owner is not a native English speaker but did his best to be accommodating. The breakfast option add on were basic options. We got accidentally double-booked so there was an attempt to move us but ultimately they allowed to stay in the room we had.
- G (7/5): Very comfortable. Clean and tidy. Door right next to the exit. - Asked to upgrade to a room with ensuite. I was very satisfied. Clean and alot of room.
Had to leave my partners bag there for him to collect on his way back from work. Thanks for that. Only one towel sorry. We were travelling as a couple.
- Alexander (5/5): Hmmm - Sleeping was good, meeting different people, and staff were good. Raje female allegded owner unreasonable and unprofessional. We left recording the room to be tidy and clean on our phone so that raje can not accuse us of sabotaging the room
- Tom (3/5): Poor -
- Olivia (6/5): Pleasant - Arrival was easy given a tour etc but we weren't told about the kitchen. Awesome little country pub and the food was yum Bathroom facilities weren't the best sharing with all rooms but ok for the price
- Te (4/5): Disappointing - N.a Wasn't clean
- Mitch (6/5): Pleasant -
- Chandra (6/5): Overall it was good experience with the value of money - Breakfast was upto the required standard and quality maybe more varieity would have improve
- Diane (5/5): not staying again - the room was clean no toilet in room - had to go down hallway - would not go alone - appears to be used for housing purposes and not that welcoming
- Jess (7/5): Good - Very noisy with squeaky doors kept us awake alnight
- Ellen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Venkata (8/5): Very good - Location Price and service
- Francis (1/5): Terrible n will never book there again - Fairly clean sheets Female manager lacked customer relations n was quite racial without saying so. Towel smelling like stale fish n felt grubby. Room tiny n extremely hot with a tiny rattly noisy ineffective fan. Manager gave us a load of bull crap when we requested for change of same priced room even though it was available n demanded 20$ more. We booked two rooms but one was a total disaster. Overall only thing good were the spruced up pics of establishment on booking.com n on their website.
- Krishna (5/5): Passable -
- Jess (10/5): Exceptional - It is always a pleasure to stay at the whitehorse inn. Good value for money
- Joseph (9/5): Superb - Very friendly, helpful and tidy and clean Friendly helpful tidyness
- Luana (3/5): Poor - The sheets appeared clean The staff member was rude - no greeting, just took my money then walked me to my room, briefly indicated the kitchen for breakfast but didn't show what to use etc. Gave keys, showed room and that was it. No smile, no manners at all.
The basins were all cracked and obvious grime in the plug holes. Bedding smelled of vape though looked clean. The room smelled musty and mildewy
The women's shower room had a clear glass panel above the door that anyone could look over.
The restaurant/cafe didn't appear open, the dingy curtains were closed the whole time.
- Mele (9/5): Superb -
- Singh (10/5): Exceptional -
- George (4/5): Affordable, clean, and friendly staff, but the facilities are outdated β¦ - Affordable, clean, and friendly staff, but the facilities are outdated. The room gets quite stuffy in the afternoon and night due to direct sunlight (although a fan is provided). Additionally, occasional traffic noise can be heard, which is not good for sleeping.
- Aimee (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ellice (8/5): Very good -
- Vi (10/5): A good place to stop by! - Locked car park on property, super affordable price, great staff hospitality and good location!
- Jair (6/5): Pleasant - Good place too noisy due to the car passing on the road and other guests room, Every time they shut their doors, it made noise that could disturb other guests who wanted some rest,

- Stevie (9/5): Superb -
- Susan (7/5): Budget, clean, would come again. - I loved our stay. Clean, comfortable budget accommodation for us to rest our heads in on our journey. New carpet and possibly new bed? We were shown to our room through a private function in the bar - right through speeches for a 21st! Hilarious, if slightly awkward.
- Martin (10/5): we add a very small budget & it was great $90 a night, we would definitely stay there again - The great room rates $90
- Jennifer (8/5): Very satisfactory. This is our 3 rd visit. - Cheap and cheerful.
Comfortable Decor βcaught in the 1970sβ- but this is part of its charm for us!
- Anonymous (9/5): Great place to stay - The staff are great, especially Lequita! Very friendly and helpful. Food is nice and facilities are good. Excellent stay. Thank you very much.
- Paul (1/5): Bad - Nothing , place closed up at 2pm, flagged it at headed for Wellington, what a joke
- Jacinta (7/5): Good -
- Diane (7/5): Good - The staff were welcoming and very helpful and the bar snack just hit the spot so did the cold beer. Had a lovely couple of hours in the bar and was made to feel quite welcome. Thankyou. I felt that it was a bit pricey for what you got. A room to yourself but shared bathroom facilities.
I have the same facilities in my next accommodation for half the price.
- Gordon (4/5): Disappointing - A bit disappointed with the poor choice of fruit. There should have been more to choose from There wasn't even a hand towel in the bathroom
- Rosemary (7/5): Good -
- Georjah (5/5): Passable -
- Jarrod (8/5): Comfortable Stay in Palmy - The room was tidy, had a plug-in fan and heater to suit your needs. Sink/counter area was useful. Bed was pretty comfortable! New carpet in the room and fresh paint.
Window curtains were blackout, and helped greatly with a headache that came about. The windows have nets so we felt privacy even with the carpark outside.
The carpark gate is locked overnight, you are given a key to access/unlock if needed. We were also able to view our car from our window which we liked. Room was stuffy and warm (avoided easily by keeping the fan on low).
The room is on the smaller side, but suited us well for one night.
You could hear snoring easily through the walls. The hallway had a smell of old carpet (I could not smell this once we entered the room, so didn't mind).
- B (8/5): Very good -
- Cloete (9/5): Superb - They were really clean, right out palmy and it was nice
- Bakalich (5/5): Passable -
- Angeline (5/5): I enjoyed dining out at the Turkish restaurant in Town and visiting the stadium to watch basketball. - There was a shared space to make a complimentary hot drink and cereal. Easy location to find with rooms attached to a Pub and restaurant. Had to share toilets and bathroom with others. I had assumed all of these amenities would be in a self contained room.
- Kamaldeep (10/5): Exceptional -
