- Robert (9/5): -
- Mandy (7/5): Great location, ideal for pets, roomy with plenty of space. - Great location - close to beach Garden could have done with some TLC so you could sit out. Maybe a Bistro table or something as it was looking a bit tired and unkept. Maybe some spices in the kitchen and a small welcome pack ie milk etc would be nice. TVs need an upgrade.
- EJ (8/5): Great location and kitchen, the beds and sofas let it down - Great location and the Brendon Arms a few doors up is a nice pub. Kitchen had everything we needed, and providing toiletries in the bathrooms is a nice touch. Staff were very friendly and helpful. All the mattresses are uncomfortable with springs, especially the single beds. The en suite bathroom and downstairs toilet didn't lock. There is only enough seating for 5 in the living room, so one of us ended up on a camping chair!

- Paula (10/5): Lovely stay in a perfect location -
- Nikki (8/5): - Perfect location...everywhere in Bude was easily walkable from the house.
- Rachel (10/5): Excellent accommodation to - It was so spacious very modern and comfortable too. They seem to have thought of everything. The oath out the back door the slabs where slippy from moss. Just needs a jet wash.
- Ellie (10/5): Really enjoyed my stay at the falcon terrace - The house was beautiful with Amazing location. So cosy with the log fire too. Very spacious perfect for family
- tracey (9/5): - It's BIG.modern and warm. We managed to park 2 cars on the driveway which was handy. A work of warning the stairs are quite steep but there is a toilet on the ground floor. We did a weekend when there was a storm most of the weekend. One thing I would like to see more of is wet coat hanging facilities. Another set of coat hooks in the laundry (yes it even has a laundry) would be perfect. Also perhaps a curtain or door to give some privacy from the landing to the twin bedrooms dressing room.( Yes it has an extra room for changing and storing kit.)nothing to dislike.
- Linda (10/5): We had a great time & would definitely go again. - The house was spotless & very comfortable. Nothing. Everything was great.
- Abby (10/5): - The house was very large, clean and well decorated! The kitchen was huge and very well equipped. A small addition could be pizza trays but overall there was nothing I disliked.

- Denise (9/5): - Great property in a great location. Plenty of room and off street parking too. Very comfortable beds and all mod cons. Thank you for having us to stay for the second year in a row. Issues with one toilet not flushing but plumber came quickly. Couldnt make the coffee machine work but that could have been user error. Some parts of property and furnishings showing signs of wear but its the end of a busy season so not surprising. No spare key so only one key available which was the one in the key box. A spare would have been great. None of this affected our stay at all.
- Catherine (9/5): -
- Nicola (10/5): A place for my mother and I to use as respite. - Love the location and the ambiance of the whole house. Especially the Conservatory - a great place to read.
- Toni (9/5): - House had everything you needed and is very spacious. Off raod parking is great. Location is perfect for beach, town, and walks
- Richard (10/5): Excellent - Location is excellent and we were grateful to get in early. We have stayed at many places in Bude and this was a great option overall. I am tall and with many places in Bude you need to duck for low doors etc - this was an exception - no issues at all. The house had rear space/garden but with a very sunny week the garden was mainly in shadow - that was fine as it was so easy to get out into Bude.
- Tracy (9/5): Large house, lots of space and very clean - The house belongs to The Beach Hotel- key safe code provided a few days before check in day. Location is fab - right on the route of the SWCP - very close to the Brendon Pub (good food but would recommend booking as gets very busy) and the canal area - and just a short walk into town. Having a parking space for one car was very helpful.
Downstairs the is a large hallway, lounge with two sofas and a small conservatory with sofas. A dining room and large galley kitchen which is extremely well equipped with everything you would need including a large double oven. They also left teas:coffee/ coffee pods/ sugar. There is also utility room with washing machine/dryer/iron etc. they also left washing tablets for the machine and the dishwasher also.
There is also a downstairs toilet and a small outside space ( washing line and picnic bench ).
Upstairs there is a large double bedroom and a second smaller double serviced by a large bathroom with shower over bath. Then a third bedroom which is two singles with a en-suite.
The beds were comfy and linen of a good quality.
Everything you need for a lovely stay in Bude and a good place to explore the surrounding area from. There is no wifi at the property. We didn’t notice this when booking tbh but also didn’t look for it on the description as it’s normally a standard service now.
There were a few issues with tvs not working- the one in the dining room and the main bedroom. I did report this though so should be fixed.
- Felicity (8/5): Great spacious house, fab location - Had a wide range of equipment, most of which was new. Washing machine, coffee machine. The front door was difficult to lock, the back door was nearly impossible to shut. There was no WIFI. This should be really clear on the details of the property.
- Martin (9/5): - A clean, comfortable cottage close to the Falcon Hotel which was excellent for breakfast and dinner. The Wifi was not working when we visited .
- Maloney (9/5): Location, location, location - Location was perfect, house had everything that we needed, although we ate out every day, it had a great kitchen. We ate at the Falcon and Olive Tree, both were good. Outside was dirty, needed a good sweep as there were bird feathers and dirt on the drive, front door needed a wash, it's a shame as inside the house was good. No kerb appeal.
- Tony (9/5): Great Location - Great Location
Parking
- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional - Very spacious. Very clean. Ideal location. Nothing not to like :)
- Keith (8/5): Very good and enjoyable. - Would have appreciated better outside space.
- Tauwhare (9/5): Superb - All very spick and span, smart kitchen and bathroom. Super comfy beds and new bed linen No pan scrubber , cloths or dishwasher tabs no wifi, TV in dining room not working
- Tamsin (8/5): Great position. Comfortable stay - Space was great. Bed in main room a little firm but the size of the room great. Seems strange to have the ensuite on the twin room at the back of the house.
Internet was not working.
- Nicola (9/5): An extremely relaxed and comfortable stay. - Very convenient location- with a flat access to it in a town full of hills! Nothing
- Angela (8/5): Great location, near to beach and canal. - Location was excellent; close to canal and beach. Having a parking space was very convenient.
Showers were powerful. Kitchen was well equipped. Comfortable lounge. Large dining table. Super crisp sheets! A 430 check-in is ridiculously late.
If there were six of you, the conservatory would not accommodate you; the garden would also be too small to sit in without a squash,
- Ian (8/5): Very good -
- Lindadevon (9/5): Superb - Great location, easy access to the town and beach. Added bonus to have parking right outside. The property was very clean and well decorated. The bathrooms and kitchen were spotlessly clean. The beds were comfortable and we had two good nights sleep. Easy access with a key code safe facility. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again. Would have liked an early entry, 4pm is ok but 2pm would have been nicer.
- Nicky (9/5): Superb - Spacious, comfortable accommodation very near the centre of Bude. Parking is tight on the drive but there are no restrictions on the road so that helped.
- Vanessa (10/5): Exceptional - Fabulous all round, couldn't fault it. Excellent location and everything you could want. Very clean. I will definitely return when it's available.
- Sharon (9/5): Lovely property in perfect location -
- Jon (9/5): We would stay again. Probably the best rental we’ve had in Bude ( and we have stayed in quite a few!) - Great location and private parking spot a great bonus. Loads of space and well appointed kitchen. Little conservatory was lovely to sit and read a book. It was Easter weekend and we were able to cook a roast and do a bit of baking without any trouble - much better kitchen than most holiday rentals. Great to have 2 good bathrooms. Would have been good to use the open fire in cooler months. The WiFi was a bit poor and as walls quite thick the 4G was weak as well. We ended up sitting by the canal to do some on line chores.
The double beds were comfy but the singles were declared uncomfortable by the (grown up) kids.
- Ben (10/5): Wonderful place to keep you coming back to Bude. - Loved the location, cleanliness, comfort and space- this was suprisingly big! Well equipped kitchen allowed us to bake as well as cook. Wonderful layout and woke up feeling rested and relaxed each day. Looking forward to coming again Very minor wear and tear as you'd expect, one shower door handle was placed on and not secure, kitchen door to dining room can't close from the inside.
- Emma (9/5): Superb -
- Mann (10/5): Accommodations destination exelent - Every thing was exelent will definitely stay there again Everything was great
- Charles (9/5): Superb -
- Sarah (9/5): Beautiful house in an amazing location - Lovely house in a fantastic location. Parking, really well equipped, comfortable. Would highly recommend. Nothing
- Gill (9/5): Superb -
- Heather (9/5): Clean and spacious with only a short walk to the river, canal, shops, restaurants and beach. - Large, spacious and clean with everything you need to self cater. We even had friends round for a meal. Two bathrooms and a downstairs loo make it really suitable for a group. We will stay again as have friends in the area. There are a few areas of natural wear and tear, scuffs on surfaces, cracked tiles in the en-suite etc but all minor and nothing that affected our trip.
- Alison (10/5): Really great stay with a great location . - Very spacious and in a very good location. Walking distance to the beach and pubs . Was a little bit chilly on arrival but soon warmed up after we put the heating up .
- Gill (10/5): Fabulous house - Excellent location with the bonus of parking. Couldn't fault it. Nothing.
- Denise (8/5): Great location - Location perfect with parking literally by the front door. Beds comfy and kichen/utility well equipped. No bath mat in shower room but really not a problem for us. No wifi in twin room, realised too late and used all of my data 🙄
- Lee (10/5): Lovely relaxing stay in comfortable surroundings. - The size. It was lovely and spacious. Neutral decor. Parking space out front and some garden, just enough for the dogs. There isn’t anything. Only observation is that we noticed the guttering at the back is blocked by leaves therefore it leaks down the wall, which may cause an issue with the property if not cleared.
- Rosalind (9/5): Superb - Excellent location in Bude. Nicely furnished, very clean and well equipped
- M (9/5): Excellent - Excellent accommodation in a perfect location for us.
- Richard (8/5): Great location and well equipped property. - Property location was ideal External area virtually not usable; Doors that cannot be closed due to poor fitting ironmongery; Poor floor finishes to stairs and landings that played a large part in making the property feel ‘basic.’; Poor property manual which felt like an afterthought.
- Samantha (9/5): Highly recommend the property, the location and the helpfulness of the hosts - Beatuifully refurbished to a very high standard and comfortably and practically furnished. Very well equipped with appliances, cutlery, linen, toiletries etc. Location was fantastic, just a minute or so's walkd to the nearest pub and shop. The front garden isn't dog friendly: mine made a near successful bid for escape within a minute. Didn't cause us an issue as we had the back yard for them to go out, but would have prevented us sitting out there if the weather had been better.
- Jenna (7/5): Beautiful family cottage central to Bude - Loved how close it was to the centre and all ammenities. Loved the little features it still had, eg little window in bedroom.
Brilliant range of equipment and fully stocked kitchen, eg al cleaning equipment to hand, stair gate, washing machine and tablets, dishwasher etc.
The house was really nicely decorated, and very clean. Only a couple of small things, didn’t have a coffee machine, wouldn’t be a problem with someone that doesn’t love their coffee as much as my husband, and a garden that’s always in the shade (I would seriously trim that huge hedge and give more room).
The biggest disappointment for my husband and myself (bad back sufferers) were the uncomfortable double bed - actually left a night early as we were in that much pain.
