Guest Reviews
- Steve (9/5): - Difficult finding the property
- Ifeadigonma (10/5): Comfortable cabin with everything you need if you are looking for a rural getaway - I love the location of this property, you feel like you are away from the hustle and bustle. The wildlife just across too made it more interesting

- Dickon (9/5): Enjoyable and very comfortable - The cabin was very well presented with a good size fridge, twin hob, microwave and decent range of cookware. A welcome basket with eggs, fresh scones and jam was a nice touch as was the small jug of milk and a block of butter, tea and coffee. There don't appear to be any shops in Connel so this is great if you arrive without time to go shopping.
The weather was quite mild and sunny when I arrived and the cabin gets the Sun so can get very warm during the day. There is a heater which does seem to do a good job of heating the room.
The cabin is only a short walk from the train station and Oban is about 10-15 minutes drive. There is also a garden centre (Poppies) a couple of miles away that has a decent cafe. Although the bed was comfortable it did have a high footboard which means the bed can be a little short for anyone 6ft+.
- Deborah (10/5): Loved it! Great cabin with everything you need for a comfortable stay. - Loved this little cabin! Fantastic surroundings, felt like we were in the middle of nowhere. Welcome pack much appreciated 😍 N/A
- Jim (9/5): Happy campers - We are from a farm and really enjoyed the pasture out the window. The beautiful view of another part of Scotland was awe-inspiring. The pod was well organized and clean. Easy parking and well separated from the other pod on site. We stayed 3 nights. It was a good central location for us to go wondering about. It was hard to find. Yes instructions were given but the last little sign was turned 90 degrees out, luckily we did find but was frustrating. We never saw hosts, only contact was through the app.

- John (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hellen (10/5): Exceptional - It was secluded and room to move
- Iain (10/5): Brilliant property for exploring and extremely comfortable - Brilliant location, immaculate in every way and extremely comfortable. We had a faultless stay and loved everything about it. Even the good WiFi and Amazon firestick were good for killing an hour at bedtime. Lovely eggs milk and butter left for us on arrival which was a lovely touch.
- Steven (10/5): Exceptional -
- Susan (10/5): Perfect location. Excellent host. Look forward to returning next year. - Cute small cabin and had everything we needed. Ideal for our short break.
- R (10/5): Peace and quiet to get on with writing after a busy day - Served all my needs Nothing
- Colin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Seymour (8/5): Good choice for a few days - Seclusion. Rural view.
Small but well equipped.
Fresh, clean feeling
Park at property All pretty good
- Jordan (10/5): Very clean and modern. Loved the scones, butter and jam. Very well equipped. - Clean, modern and secluded.
- Paterson (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mark (10/5): Perfection. - The welcome pack was a lovely touch and very well presented. It's in a lovely quiet location, sitting watching the world go by in perfect peace, was an absolute joy and my sleep was out of this world. Nothing, in my opinion, it was perfect.
- Christopher (9/5): Quite peaceful nice location but not the best to get to. - the location was lovely very quite. Nice views across the fields to the hills. Train station five minute walk for the train to Oban. The bed wasn't the most comfortable and could be better signage for the cabins as you have to go under a railway bridge and turn right up a gravel track.
- Tania (10/5): What a little Gem 💎 - Pretty location , very handy for touring the area. Peaceful, with lovely views over farmland and hills. The cabin was well appointed and cozy , it met our needs perfectly and we would love to return.
- Sally (10/5): Exceptional -
- Juliet (10/5): Beautiful space & tranquil! - The space, peace & quiet! Bed against a wall, awkward to get into and out of, especially for a more ‘mature’ person!
Also, a mirror near a PowerPoint would be helpful when using the hairdryer!
- Julie (10/5): It was wonderful, just blew us away with the location, views and the beautiful cabin. - We were given milk, eggs, butter and scones which was wonderful, the scones were delicious. Finding the lace, luckily a girl from a neighbouring farm helped us.
- Maggie (7/5): Served it's purpose as we were here to visit a friend. - Lovely laid out cabin, nicely decorated and we loved the welcome basket . The directions were difficult- we spent an hour looking for it. The road under the bridge was scary and the track up to the cabin was extremely steep. I had mentioned when I booked that we were an elderly couple and we would need access to both sides of the bed but the bed was still against the wall. I did manage to move the furniture to get access to both sides.
- Verena (10/5): Perfect cabin in a wonderful peaceful location, would love to be back! - What a perfect cabin in a wonderful location. I spent 7 days and as the weather was exceptionally good (sunshine all week) I did a lot of walking with trips to Lismore, Kerrera, Mull, Iona, Staffa, Seil, Luing and Kilmartin. I enjoyed very much the entertainment by the little calves coming over to check on the human in the box....It was so beautifully quiet, I could hear so many different birds day and night. One evening a hedgehog came close.
The cabin is well equipped, it was very clean and I enjoyed very much the delicious scones that were waiting for me.
Finding the cabin was not too difficult, as I had read in previous views that it might be difficult I was aware. And the description was perfect (and the what 3 words app helped, too). Although the little train station is close, this wasn't a problem, it is not such a busy service and the trains don't race. Nothing! Totally happy!
- Stephen (9/5): A lovely stay in a tranquil location - The location was very beautiful and tranquil. I loved the little touches, like the milk, butter, eggs and scones left by the host. I was a bit worried about dropping the keys down the cracks in the decking! Maybe a bigger key fob would be useful.
- David (10/5): Just amazing - It was clean and cosy and had all the things you could need for a chill time. Welcome pack was a nice touch and the info pack very helpful. We loved it Cant fault any of it
- Joanne (10/5): Exceptional - Great little cabin with lovely views and everything you needed for a nice weekend away Nothing
- Moira (9/5): Comfortable clean and well equipped little cabin. Small but has everything you need. Very quiet location with nice outlo - Well equipped and very clean. A few nice extra’s which gave the cabin a personal touch. Nothing about the property itself however, the approach road to the property goes under a bridge and it is very narrow and uneven. Had to take it really slowly and stick closely to one side to avoid damaging the car.
- Roshannah (10/5): It was great, would recommend - Very modern and clean. Great location
- Jennifer (9/5): Superb - View, cleanliness, peaceful, parking Was hard to find
- Susan (9/5): Superb -
- Laura (10/5): amazing - everything you need, the area is private and nearby oban. the host left us eggs, milk, scones and butter hard to find and the directions we received could’ve been communicated better
- Lisy (10/5): Exceptional - We loved the location and the atmosphere. It was very relaxing and really enjoyed our stay. It was difficult to find the cabin and it took a few phone calls to find it.
