- Lalla (10/5): Wonderful homestay - It is a wonderful homestay, located in a very green and peaceful area next to the Shalimar garden, which makes it truly a hidden gem. I loved the quiet and the clean air, compared to the busier areas of Srinagar. Hosts are very kind, thoughtful, and respectful, I really appreciated all the help during my stay, they can provide all the necessary information about Srinagar, and the culture of Kashmir. The room was very clean and spacious. There's cab service available. The host Alam picked me up on a very short notice, which was very kind of him. Shalimar garden, Dachigam nature reserve, Nishat are very near to the place, but so are Harwan Buddhist ruins and Burzahom archeological site, which are often overlooked by tourists, but are actually fascinating, and they are super accessible from this homestay. I really enjoyed my stay, and look forward to coming back! Thank you for attending to my very weird schedule and for absolutely necessary and great conversations! Nothing I can think of!
