• Mary (5/5): Passable - I like the location. Beautiful sunset. Its old. The pool is not clean. The heater for the hot shower is unsafe. When I adjusted it, there was smoke and I could smell something burnt. I didnt finish my shower i was so scared i would be electricuted. My aunt's room has unclean water with bad smell. They transferred them to another room and as extra beds to my cousin's room but the rates is insane. The total amount for the room and extra beds were the same as having another room.
• Alexis (4/5): Disappointing - The pool was nice, the outdoor area was nice. The rooms were decent sized For the price we paid it wasn’t worth it. Their generator was unreliable. We had no power from 11pm to 4:30am. The sliding doors going in the room and bathroom was so difficult to open and close. The sink was about to fall. The AC in one of the rooms was barely working. As nice as this hotel looks from the outside, it’s poorly maintained and the owners and staff weren’t super friendly.
• Van (3/5): it was very dirty - The ladies staff were very nice! It was dirty and a old room, paint falls from the wall, a lof to mold, everything in chineses, no explanation of airco, it smells..

• Jon (1/5): i made big mistake booking this place. - the view. Door knubs fully rusted, water stuck in bathroom floor, jacuzzi broken, pool smelled and brown out. Couldn't wait to leave the place. I have been to over a dozen of resorts and air bnb, this was the worst place by far. NO exaggeration!
• Wyndee (5/5): Passable - Aesthetically the place is nice, rooms are spacious but the resort needs a full time, expert maintenance guy not just a part time maintenance & part time security guard & a good housekeeping staff. The owner is also nice, she accepts the complaints & tries her best to please the guest. Alot of stuff needs to be fixed in their resort. 1. Their signage outside ( on the gate it says eastern garan) a small signage above says Hen Yuan. It really creates confusion. Even the guard on duty don't know which is the real resort name😂 2. Upon entering their rooms, it smells like sewer. Stinky! 3. Pillows - not good. 4. Shower heads, soap holders are broken. ( when we complained about this, the owner immediately fixed it.) 5. No proper front desk staff. The one acting front desk is the housekeeper who can't answer the complaints. We have to wait for the owner at night. 6. Brownouts- their generator is limited to the "lobby" so the rooms don't have power and it is too hot. (Not comfortable specially at night)

• Wolfgang (5/5): They could do mzch beter and it is easy - The location at the seaside is very good I went there by motorcycle and was not even off the bike when a guard apporached me ant told me that I am too early for check in. it was 10 to 2 pm, check in starts at 2 pm. A really nice and warm welcome. The first room they gave me was stinky and scruffy, after my complaint I received a better one with a pool in front. In general I have to say that this WAS a nice resort years ago. Missing maintaince!
• Mark (5/5): Our stay was adequately relaxing with good sleep knowing their aircondition works well. - What we like about the property are their spacious room, friendly staff, and the accessible location—easy to navigate in Google Maps and the resort has a lot of restaurants nearby and just a few minutes of ride from other tourist attractions like Kawayan Resort, Balete Tree and Hapitanan. During our visit, our comfort room was clean, however, there is an awful smell from its tank that we have no control as guests. The property is big and it is surely beautiful though it clearly has a numerous maintenance projects underway.

• Paul (8/5): A good value for money place with great snorkelling - It is a slightly quirky place in some ways - but overall I loved staying here and will do again if (when) I return to Siquijor. The location is great, a little way out of San Juan but right by the sea, and they hire scooters on the premises. It's easy to get tuk tuks if you prefer. The pool was big, clean and with great sea views and the staff were helpful (especially Magi(?) who was simply wonderful). The rooms and food were fine but the absolute highlight was being able to access the sea direct from the property down a few steps and be straight onto a reef with great snorkelling. Nothing really. Maybe certain details appear a little dated and a general refresh would be good - but then the price would go up and I think it's excellent value for money.
• Lowell (1/5): Would not recommend this place to anyone - The location of the resort is very nice. Upon arrival, we noticed the entire property was in a bad condition. When we entered our room, we noticed several items needing immediate repair. The aircon didn’t work, private pool had no water in it, no WiFi, holes in the bedsheets, leaking water in the bathroom, musty smell. My 6 year old son was laying on the bed. When my wife switched on the lights, a lighting fixture on the wall over the bed exploded! Sending sparks all over my son! The room had smoke in it! We immediately informed the front desk and asked for another room. Upon seeing the new room, it was awful also. Bad smell and dirty. At this point my mind was made up that I couldn’t allow my family to stay here. We requested a refund to my credit card and found a new place. The front desk told us we would be refunded but I still haven’t seen a refund. Tried to call them several times with no answer and sent an email. This place is unsafe and they ripped us off!!!
• Jacobus (1/5): Very poor price ratio in terms of what is offered and the bathroom is disease-causing. - Swimming pool,less was the salt water. Dear all, Our stay was very disappointing. The accommodation is old, the bathroom is pathogenic, especially Chinese style. The price ratio of what is offered is far below par. The swimming pool is beautifully situated by the sea, but we were surprised by salt water. This is not described anywhere on the websites. So they keep this hidden.The service is bad. one or two staff members are skilled. What I also noticed is that you have to ask for cleaning and clean towels. I also had to ask about the refrigerator and flat screen, what was promised was simply not there. Then serving the ordered food. It seems to be difficult to actually boil an egg for 5 minutes. Then again no cutlery, salt, sugar or a napkin. Everywhere you have to ask again. And this only happens in this hotel. No apology or compensation is offered for the smelly bathroom. I plan to write a scathing review on Booking.com. I hope all of you high paying guests will read this. So don't go dear.

• Ernst (7/5): Good - Very very friendly Lady of reception and Service! Little Apartment house is big enough for 2! Sea view wonderful! Lunch/Dinner Prices OK and taste very good!!! Pool area nice and big enough! Many beach loungers available! A bit unkempt area and Apartments. Looks like they not want to invest anymore. The other stuff, except the nice chinese Lady, not speak well english, or always on the phone and not realize you are waiting at the front bar to need something.

• Stan (4/5): Disappointing - The location by the sea is nice and convenient to get to San Juan The room was dirty and outdated. The spa facility is not as advertised and is someone they call in rather than on-site service. Very disappointed and wouldn't recommend.

Incredibly good value, new, clean, private with a small amount of spaced out accommodation.The main highlight of this place would have to be the staff who are attentive, helpful and just all round lovely people. I am coming back to Siquijor next year and have no doubt I will be staying here again. Thanks for a lovely time!

• Caitlyn (4/5): Unfortunately will not stay again or recommendations , the workers where lovely and hospitable however the owners havnt - The location was central and the ocean entry off the cliff was beautiful - very easy snorkelling access and beautiful sunsets. The decor was odd, tacky and not relaxing.. the furniture, appliances and linen were cheap and below average. No bar fridge in the room and you have to rely on the ?bar to have cold bottled water when you need it (not always available). No one changed our sheets or cleaned the room for nearly 2 weeks despite asking numerous times. The pool was nice however you were unable to spend much time there because there is no shade. The blinds in the room were cheap and translucent waking you up at the crack of dawn. This property has lots of potential however does not deliver whatsoever - I hate making bad reviews but this place did not meet the mark and we are very easy going people.
• Brian (4/5): Terrible - Very bad accommodations and old rooms and bathrooms, only lliked the Filipino front desk staff, and the breakfast cook. View was nice of beach Rooms, bathroom and bed were very old and not modern. Beds and sheets havent been changed since last guest, and worst of all the doors did not lock, and widows did not close, so mosquitoes were in the room. Towels were very small and thin, no wash towels available. Best experience was the courteous and humble Filipino staff and breakfast served in morning. We werre disappointed so we checked out the next day (4/2) and checked into Rukin Resortin San Juan.

• Romain (8/5): Very good - The staff here is just incredible, had such a great time here! The view from the pool is incredible, especially for sunset, you can easily enjoy snorkeling in the sea right in front of the hotel and spot some turtles here in the afternoon. If you are expecting a luxury resort it's not really what you'll find here: the rooms are OK, we had twice an issue with the shower not working (but quickly fixed by the staff) and the place looks half finished.
• Eurica (4/5): Good but severely overpriced which I assume is because of Holy Week. - Some of the staff were really nice, and the food, although overpriced, was good. It was poorly managed which is a shame since this property has a lot of potential. One of the pools looked quite dirty and the bathrooms didn’t really feel clean either.
• Mingyang (10/5): Exceptional - The place face the sea and near most attractions in this island, The boss and stuff is willing to help, you can ask everything you want, booking a tricycle or rend a motorbike best ask the boss, the price much cheaper than outside
• Anete (7/5): Good - Very beautiful location, beautiful property, just needs a little refreshment and more care about garden and facilities. Owner was nice to us, helpful. Facilities needs refreshment, pool water was milky, no one swam in it, they did put a filter in it and cleaned some walls in it, but the water needed to be changed completely to make it usable. Garden is burned out, grass is brown and a lot of plants were dead
