• Mazoyo (9/5): Nice place - The staff at the facility was friendly. It's conveniently located close to a night club and lake boat rides. There is a restaurant and bar within the premises. Lots of garden space to sit. Cabin had privacy At some point we waited for very long to have food delivered to our cabin. The shower had issues, but was fixed swiftly.
• rahma (7/5): minor issues needing fixing but overall pleasant stay and would recommend - great location, value for money, friendly helpful staff a few issues with plumbing, (leak in the sink, WC wouldn fill up fully due to faulty valve, shower head needed a clean as some "holes" were blocked). Power- microwave wont work if fridge is also plugged in. This should have been stated.

From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming and attentive, making check-in a breeze. The room was immaculate, spacious, and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The hotel’s location was perfect—close to lake, restaurant and the pool making it easy to explore the area. The host, Grace was really supportive and on to the task. Overall, I had an exceptional stay and would definitely return. It was the perfect mix of comfort, service, and convenience. Highly recommended!

• Giedre (8/5): Very good - The host of the place was amazing and was taking care about us even not being in the place. The cabins are in beautiful place, very close from the lake, where you can watch hippos and take a boat ride. The place was clean, there is a restaurant where you can grab breakfast, lunch and dinner. Keep in mind that this place can be noisy, espacially during the weekend. When we arrived in the mid of the week there wasnt so many people, but the weekend approaching it became more noisy and it was not very pleasant. If you want to eat in the restaurant, it is better to order in advance as it can take long for food to be prepared. Bad wi-fi connection.

• Odhrán (8/5): Very good - The location was nice beside the lake. It was kept clean and the staff were very friendly. Dalphy (Grace) who handled my booking was extremely helpful. It was good value for money too. The road down to the accommodation is in quite bad condition, the bed was quite low to the ground, and the service in the restaurant was slow too. The food was tasty but took a while to arrive. The hot water took a long time to heat up but the shower was fine once it did heat up.

• Rafał (7/5): Good - Safe overnight stay near the lake. The rooms were large, reasonably comfortable, well-equipped and clean. Breakfast served in the bar overlooking the lake. The guy who served us breakfast had a dirty shirt. Not very appetizing.
• Nyaruai (1/5): ☹️ - I booked to stay at the cabin and it was confirmed, however at 2300hrs in the night when I called to reassure the host that we were on our way still as we were running late, I was informed that the previous occupant had extended their stay and the host offered me a different optionwhich was more expensive and turned out to be mediocre. That I did not get to experience despite booking on time.

• Tana (7/5): Good - The view from the room was great, we woke one morning and saw hippos from our deck, and plenty bird life, the staff were great especially James, James and Fantas. Location was great, fairly close to Hell's gate national park and Mt Longolot. We did a boat ride from there which was great. Breakfast was a nice touch. I would suggest checking how far the construction and how it may impact your stay, it should be done by mid January 2024.

• Olive (2/5): Not worth it! - The location is great. 1. The WiFi did not work the entire time we were there and it was excuse after excuse as to why it didn’t. 2. The water kept being cut off and we had to call several times for it to be restored. 3. The earthing in the showers is poorly done and there were incidents of being “shocked” while touching the knobs. 4. The boat ride was to be an hour, it was 45 minutes, and non-negotiable. 5. They have no children’s (high chair, beds/cots) and disabled persons (rumps, rails, etc.) facilities, that are a safety hazard. 6. They had little to no sway on the kind of noise their neighbours had, which was a mega miss on attracting animals and getting any sleep, as the decibels were too loud all night and morning until 9 a.m.. 7. The pool isn’t quite at the premises and it’s shared with other accommodations. 8. They asked me to pay upfront because of others requesting for the only two rooms available; which isn’t in line with the site’s policy. 9. They had construction ongoing - which they mention after booking - and so only the two rooms we had are operational. I would definitely not recommend it for overnight stays, maybe a day tour, as some of their food was alright.

Explanation was we didn't leave our keys or give permission to enter the room. Lack of good reception so the manager was asking about payment through WhatsApp which we didn't find cool. We could have done this at the reception instead.

About room from balcony veiw its amazing fresh breath lovely atmospher and hole property you will walk its you feel awesome you feel like a heaven peace of mind ...birds and hippos alot ... boat drive in wave boffar nothing as not too worry go other places...inside they plan everything.... Opposite clubs and bar not to go outside hotel ...❤️ swinging pool ...pool table .. Safe place with security money value .... The house itself is not standing firmly, when neighbors walking or when they doing exercises on the bed, the building shakes, at first I thought it's earth quake, later realised the issues on the standing pillars below the house, they are weak. Hope owner of this hotel go investigation.

The bathroom is clean and large enough. There is a good hot shower. There were bottled water and coffee as complementary. The resort is a good place for relaxation. The breakfast is enough and varied. We ordered fish for the lunch with a good price too. The manager, “Dalphin” is a good organizer. She arranged a taxi to Nairobi at early morning for us. All the staff are polite and kind, especially Winnie and James, who are very helpful. I had a problem buying train tickets; they helped me to solve it. We took a boat ride through this resort with a reasonable price. The lady at the boat office helped me for Exchange and arranged a motorbike, too. We had memorable moments Nothing

• Jacopo (4/5): I feel that this is overpriced and can do with some a good clean up of the surrounding environment - Breakfast was good and staff was nice. The rooms are very large and the bed was comfortable. The surrounding grounds where ridden with trash (see photo attached) - this is the first thing you see when you arrive at the location. There was smell of sever in the rooms. Many of the photos and the ratings given for this hotel in the listing are based on the cabins - which fall under a different name. The hotel itself is a single building on stilts. Water in the shower was not hot, the showers are instant showers but functioning poorly.
• Enzo (7/5): The perfect lake front - The place is a dream. You are staying at the beach front and can have breakfast super close to the lake. That place is hard to double. They have only 2 rooms. So if you're lucky you have the house for yourself. You should go for the room with lake view! The food is OK and the service is a good for Kenya, but don't expect a European one. The road is bad. The pool does not belong to this place. You have to go 200m to get to the pool and it actually belong to another place, but you can use it for free.

Good location with a few choices to eat. Great value, including boat trips. If you are foreigner might find food choice slightly limited. However was good quality and great value.

James the manager was very helpful with information and assistance upon arrival.Oooh,and the food was great as the lady serving us despite the distance she would shuttle.God bless all the staff for a good stay we had. Wifi needs a booster so as to reach all cabins.Ours did not work on the smart tv provided.
