• Brian (10/5): Comfortable and convenient apartment in downtown P - Very nice place, conveniently located, modern upscale apartment complex. Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Three big elevators are very fast. Excellent security. Very quiet despite being in the downtown area. Kitchenette with full size refrigerator, big microwave, stove top, kitchen and dining wares was very useful. The mezzinnine area was excellent, big and comfortable. Outside large patio nicely furnished. Workout gym and pool. Garage parking available. But Metro light rail and bus stops are close by. Easy to get around without renting a car. Take light rail into town from the airport. Nearest stop is only across the street. Beware, entrance is NOT on Central but rather Polk.
• Dawn (4/5): Would not stay again - There was hair on the blanket, pillows and shower. There was blood stains on the sheets in two locations. There were a lot of hoops to jump through in order to get check in instructions. The microwave didn’t work. The front desk people were great.
• Lisa (8/5): - We had several A/C issues and there never seemed to be an urgency even when our room was at 92 degrees and we said there is no way we can sleep in there. We moved rooms once and then there was another a/c issue. We felt we had to keep checking in on the status and were not getting any updates. Fridge also was not keeping food cold. Otherwise all was great but that was a very key issue that was extremely frustrating.

They quickly got me switched to another unit for the night and then moved me to a larger, upgraded unit the next morning. Everyone was lovely and welcoming, and very accommodating. My overall stay was wonderful, even with the small blip with check-in!

• Sue (10/5): - I loved the clean beautiful apartment. I had come for QuiltCon2025 and could easily walk to the Convention Center and felt very safe in the neighbourhood. An easy walk to Matt’s Big Breakfast ❤️ which I did twice! The roof top pool and view where lovely, I enjoyed the coffee station on the main floor where you can choose hot chocolate or your favourite coffee from freshly ground beans. I would definitely stay here again.
• john (4/5): Disappointing - The WiFi was very poor... the reception to my room didn't work and they told me to try the rooms next door, one of which "worked" intermittently. The window only had a sun shade, no curtains, and it let a lot of light through making it very difficult to sleep. This was frankly unbelievable. It took at least 10 minutes to get reasonably hot water for a shower. It does, however, have a good location. The price is good compared to other hotels in the area, but not worth it given the deficiencies.
• Richard (8/5): Real or Imagined - We were there for a distributor show. We made 3 reservations last November, but a couple weeks before the event the show informed us that only two people would be allowed to attend the show. We canceled the third reservation as a result, but it was non-refundable, so we were out $736.20 before ever arriving. The facility is quite beautiful. A few major complaint- a pullout sofa bed instead of a regular bed is unacceptable to a frequent traveler for a room over $200.00. A full-sized bed is necessary. Also, the office mezzanine area is wonderful, but travelers also like to work in their rooms. No table, or at least higher stool chairs to use the countertop is a major miss. Lastly, if you are going to supply containers for shampoo, conditioner and body wash, please check them for operability, as the conditioner would not come out and the body wash was barely able to get out. The best part of the stay were the desk staff and cleaning people's demeanors. They are all terrific!

• Sarah (8/5): Lovely but odd communication - The most important thing to know about Kenect Phoenix is that it doesn't function like a regular hotel. As far as I can tell in the building there are co-working spaces, apartments and hotel rooms. It was almost like it was a collection of air-bnbs. One way that this effected me is that it doesn't have a normal front desk that is staffed 24-7, All check in and out information came via email. Also the phone number I had called a switchboard offsite that didn't know what wi-fi network or password to use. The room and building were very clean and in great condition. The concierges were very friendly. The kitchenette had plenty of dishes and cookware. It was almost like I had a temporary apartment, But like an apartment it wasn't clear who to call if I wanted another blanket or needed a hand.
• Genevieve (8/5): - Our room had a weird smell but other than that it was clean and everything worked. They have an in-unit washer and dryer and even provide detergent. Downtown PHX is rather industrial but there were a lot of good dining options within walking distance. We felt safe the whole time. The gym only had two treadmills and one of them wasn't working hence only 4 stars on the property condition.
• David (10/5): - A amenities. My room had atoaster, pans, real glasses, real silverware, vented hood.... Cons. - mattress in the junior studio was the best 4" of a mattress ever.... But hurts 45 year old bones. Overall though, A and would do again and again.

• Michal (8/5): - The property is modern, clean and feels safe. Employees were kind and helpful. I stayed in a studio unit. The bed was a folding sofa and wasn't that comfortable. The soap dispenser in the shower did not work and was leaking. The blind cord was broken, and I had to climb a chair to catch the end and bring it up/down.

• Verified traveler (2/5): Uncomfortable facilities / Unfriendly management - Uncomfortable bed and pillows. No desk in the room. Neighbours in one of the adjacent rooms constantly cook something with huge amounts of chilli so the entire apartment always smelled of it. The checkout time is really early (10am) and the hotel management is really hard to reach (the receptionists don't have access to them) and they are also really inflexible about checking out times. Couldn't even extend it by half an hour and were very unfriendly about it.
• Verified traveler (10/5): - Clean, quiet hotel. Lots to do within walking distance! My only complaint was the bed is more of a fold out couch, rather than a real bed.

• Chris (8/5): - The good: The staff is awesome. Very helpful and nice. The building is new and was in good condition. It was close proximity to the convention center for my event. There is a nice food market nearby, so I could get groceries and cook some meals. I had a studio with a murphy bed, and it was plenty of space. Lots of closets. The roof top deck and pool are gorgeous and quiet. The separate sitting area on level 8 and the communal workspace was also convenient. I didn't use the gym, but it had a lot of equipment and looked nice. The NOT so GOOD: My hot water was sporadic. I mostly had cold to luke- warm showers the first two days, I couldn't get my dishwasher to work. Black out curtains would have been nice, I'm used to sleeping in darkness, and it didn't feel very private. My door wouldn't close all the way on its own, so a few times I came back, and my door was not closed. My last day I was moving my stuff out from under the bathroom vanity, and I came across a used Crack/meth pipe, that was laying behind the tissue box holder.. I was shocked and a little pissed. Other than that it was great, and I would recommend.
• kiara (8/5): - Overall was a pretty good stay, however the late check in time of 4 is really inconvenient and there is little to no communication about being able to check in even a couple hours earlier. Fire alarm also went off during my stay with no explanation. But the room was nice and clean and me and my boyfriend enjoyed our stay for the most part.
• Verified traveler (4/5): That was a "bed"? - The front desk staff was meh. Not very helpful when we where informed there was no on site parking for "hotel" guests. However, the rest of the staff was amazing, friendly and very helpful. Now to the "bed" it was no bed, it was a full size pull out sofa bed.. with a 3inch mattress! Now we are not plus size by any means and we slept TERRIBLY.

• James (10/5): Kennect! - Stayed 4 nights. Front desk was very nice and helpful. Specifically Dani Kalcow and Farey Gibson. Close to Chase Field and plenty of great restaurants. Will return if visiting again.
• Brian (8/5): Amazing place with a couple flaws - Overall, I loved it — good kitchen in the room that I used every night, beautiful property, beautiful sunset view from the pool, great amenities, great location. Amazing value — half the price of an equivalent hotel. The on tap cold brew was some of the best coffee I’ve ever had (though it did run out near the end of my stay and was not replenished). Two problems that may or may not matter depending on your needs: 1. No blackout curtains. Just thin sheer shades. Unless you wear an eye mask, the sun WILL wake you up. I needed to be up early for work so that was fine for me, but if you need to or want to sleep in past sunrise, bring an eye mask or go somewhere else. Wild that blackout shades are not installed. I get that these are basically nice apartments… but if I lived here the first thing I would do would be hang some darker window coverings. 2. Parking: I walked and did not have a vehicle, so not a problem for me, but the front desk seemed SO relieved that I didn’t need parking. If you will have a car, DO YOUR RESEARCH on where to park and make sure you’re good with that, as it seems that they don’t have onsite parking and it can be kind of a problem.

• Joshua (4/5): - They want a ton of extra information to stay there and the bed is a thin futon mattress on a Murphy hideaway. While the view was decent the curtain was mesh and let every bit of light in in the morning. It’s a trendy studio apartment room that is reminiscent of ikea but ultimately not comfortable and not a restful sleep.

• Tyrone (10/5): - I loved the amenities that came with my stay. Washer and Dryer along with the solution to wash clothes. The room was also furnished with dishes and cooking material There were so many things that came with the studio. The coffee, soap, body wash etc. Also the air condition worked really well. My only issue was my initial check in day was a bad experience due to nobody being at the front desk beside security. I was not able to check in and had to stay at a different hotel my first day. Angela and Jason gave their apologies to me. These were members of staff that are managers based on their words. I spoke to them through the Kenect phoenix phone number.

• Brittney (10/5): - My stay at Kenect was nothing short of amazing. The central location, amenities, and friendliness of staff were the most notable parts of my stay. Special thanks to Carol Ann, Dani, and Feret for all of their assistance on my very first solo trip. I would not have felt as comfortable without their help!
• Clarisa (10/5): - Loved my time here! The front desk was so helpful, they had valet right next door. I had everything i needed for the week not to mention it was so pretty and well kept! Will be staying here again!
• Annalisa (10/5): - Brand new property with very helpful staff. I broke my foot while I was in Phoenix and they were able to help me get around. A lot less expensive than local hotels and included a kitchen and a business lounge with snacks
• Kianna (6/5): Great spot, but few downfalls - The location is amazing, staff is super kind and helpful, room was super clean and comfy. Faray who checked us in is AMAZING and has the best energy. The rooftop pool was beautiful also. Now the negatives. - Our room was moved because there was a weed smell in the original room that they couldn't get rid of. The new room still had a little bit of a weed smell, but it was bearable. This is a half college apartment complex, half hotel. The kids on our level apparently smoked. - Our fridge didn't work or it wasn't turned on in time for our arrival, not sure. Safe to say, the $87 we spent on groceries that trip were completely ruined because of this. We ended up having to eat out the whole time. - There is no parking. Upon booking, they send you a guest book that says "you can't park here, but theres metered parking, $30 parking down the street, or $45 valet parking next door at the hampton inn". We tried valeting next door, but they wouldn't allow us because we weren't hotel guests. We tried parking at the metered parking, but its 2 hour maxmimum. All in all, do your research before staying here.
• Constance (10/5): Amazing and economical - I was not sure what to expect traveling for a conference to a fairly expensive downtown area. The studio unit was fantastic. It had all of the amenities of a luxury hotel plus some you never find (washer and drier in the room). High speed internet worked well and the staff was friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. I would stay again without reservation.

• Courtney (2/5): - I reached out over 24 hours in advance to request an early check in. That request was responded to over 48 hours later. Upon arrival I was told the pool was broken and had been unavailable for 2 days. I asked about a possible refund since I only planned on staying there for the pool amenity. I was unable to get a response from anyone regarding a refund due to the pool being closed. Had I been told ahead of time that the pool was closed I would have canceled before our check in time. Overall, there was very poor service, false advertising of amenities and a very poor communication timeline.
• Karen (6/5): - I was very disappointed to be downgraded to a smaller room. I had called a week prior to my trip to confirm the room and was told everything was set. The next day or two I got an email that we were moved to a studio due to maintenance issues. When I tried to call the property I was told a message would be sent to the leasing office and I would be contacted after not being able to reach an agreement with the rep. I was never contacted. I sent two follow up emails, and ultimately did not hear back through Kenect. I get a call from Expedia instead. There was miscommunication and lack of understanding from all parties, my self included, and what the hotel was telling me did not match what Expedia reps were telling me. At the end, I was excluded from that conversation and Expedia/hotel came to their own conclusion. Which is fine, but it made me feel like I was being screwed over. The property itself was very clean, including the room. The pool was average. I expected it to have nice views since it is located on the roof, but there is a LOT of construction surrounding the property so it was not a nice view. The pool area was also not as big as the pictures made it seem. There were vending machines on site which were convenient. I hoped there would have been a coffee shop on the property or near but there was not. It was a bit of a walk away. I liked that the property had social events like snow cone day or a backyard bbq, etc. The front desk personnel were friendly and polite.

• Patricia (6/5): - The hotel is clean and modern, but it’s not a comfortable place to stay. The bed is a hideaway couch, which was a shock, some of the staff were cold and borderline rude (example, “are we too early to check in”…”you’re 42 minutes early actually”) and the room was very concrete and sharp. Check in is at 4 and check out is at 10, they wouldn’t let us check in early but started messaging me about checking out on time at 8am, threatening fines if we didn’t turn our key in before 10. It just wasn’t my favorite place to stay, but if sterile is your jam you will love this place.

• Marisol (10/5): - We loved staying in the Kenect! Getting there we were welcomed so nicley by the kind girls at the front desk. Check in was a breeze and we were quickly able to get into the cute studio room. It was an escape from the dreaded Arizona heat. It was great having coffee, ice, and water only a few floors down open at any time as well as security on the floor that helped make you feel safe. The only downfall was our dryer did not function. I washed a day before our trip ended and was shocked at the fact that the dryer did not work, even after following all the instructions. We had to take all our wet clothes in our suitcase!
