• Vernessa (10/5): Amazing stay from start to finish! The hotel was modern, comfortable, and exceeded our expectations. The customer servic - The location, view, and the customer service! There were a few minor inconveniences that occurred but not anything to spotlight!
• Virginia (10/5): Breathtaking Views - Valna was always available to answer questions and arrange taxis. She was great! We truly relied on her throughout our stay. The view was breathtaking, and the apartment was modern and beautiful. Great air conditioning, wi-fi, tv, kitchen, and great balconies. Caldera Villas is definitely superior to any of the other apartment-type residences further down the road. The kitchen island and the barstools were made for very tall people. We couldn't even get on the seats of the barstools! We had to eat our food in the living room. We also couldn't reach the wine glasses. A stepstool would solve some of these issues. The only way to get into town or to the beach is by walking along the side of the road. There is no pathway or sidewalk. The nearby beach for the town can be lovely and has beautiful views, but it can also be strewn with garbage and have very loud music playing. It depends on the day, it seems.

• Ritva and Ilpo (10/5): - We really liked the superclean and modern apartment with a view to die for. It had all the facilities you need for even a longer stay than ours (which was five days). The kind and caring landlady kept contact with us all through our stay making sure we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The two bathrooms were an extra bonus as was the spacious balcony overlooking Petit Piton and the colourful town of Soufriere. We can highly recommend this topnotch villa for anyone wishing to have a really unique stay in memorable Soufriere. -

• Carla (10/5): The Best Location & Accommodation - Where do I begin? Caldera Villas is a perfect location on the edge of the volcano. The view is stunning. The Villas are walkable to many restaurants and shops in Downtown Soufriere, as well as the beach. Valna was responsive to my many questions. The apartment itself was extremely clean and comfortable. She recommended restaurants and a taxi company to get us around safely through the windy roads.. Bonus points for having games and books, electrical outlets that were for Caribbean, Canadian, and US plugs...and water bottles (and beer) in the fridge. It's the little details that made our stay stress free and an enjoyable one. We would come back and stay here again! In fact, my son was asking to come back already. Not really something I didn't like, but maybe offer brown towels in case guests went to the sulfur springs mud baths. We had. our own towels, so I'm just thinking of others without them and wouldn't want to mess up the nice towels.

• Barbara (10/5): Modern flat with an incredible view! - The place is very new and modern. The kitchen was well equipped and spacious. The balcony off of the living room had an incredible vies of the water and the Petit Piton. The beach was a 10 min walk down the hill and the center of town a few minutes more. Good restaurants to choose from within walking distance.

• Stephen (10/5): Excellent villa with friendly, helpful owners - Perfect for us. Everything spotlessly clean, comfortable and modern. A little bit of a walk up the hill to get there, but then that’s why you have such a superb view! The owner, Valna, was incredibly helpful with arranging trips and drivers to us - nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend! Nothing. Might be difficult for people with accessibility issues due to the walk up.

• Jaime (10/5): Beautiful - Beautiful view, comfy beds, and spacious showers. Loved Valna, she reached out prior to our visit and answered all of our questions, helped us rent a car, met us at the airport. She couldn’t have been more kind and quick to respond. Overall happy with everything ! Nothing about the property, but Soufriere is not a walkable city, I recommend renting a car. Many of the restaurants are way overpriced, but there are a few local places that serve delicious local food at a reasonable price.

• Richard (10/5): Genuinely, beyond our highest expectations - a fabulous five days. - It was impeccably clean and well furnished and in a great location - 5 minutes walk to the beach, a short drive from all of the area’s best destinations, and with fantastic views from every window and balcony. Our host, Valna (and Eddison!) was even better; from the moment she first contacted us until our leaving today she was friendly, kind, welcoming and extremely helpful. Leaving it!!!

• Philip (10/5): Very enjoyable & restful plus learned a lot about St Lucia that I did not know before visiting. - The location was great. Walking distance to many restaurants (Orlando's, Fig Tree, Marvin's just down the road, Felicity, etc). Also close to a very nice beach with a scuba dive shop. Great view from the balcony (unit #3). Close to many of the sites to visit on St Lucia (Diamond Waterfalls, Sulfur Springs, etc). Only problem was water getting in the unit under the door due to no weather stripping on the door frame or a water tight sweep on the bottom of the door. No damage to the unit because of the tile flooring. We just mopped it up with a towel. Varna sealed the door with a towel on day #3. Was informed that parts on order to fix this minor problem. FYI I am an engineer & was impressed with the quality of the construction of Calderas Villas. Therefore it is amusing to me this was overlooked.
• Glenn (9/5): you will regret not staying at Calder Villas. - Staff Hispitality was exceptional. Every convenience was extended. Oh, and the view is worth your attention. All appliances and air-conditioning and WiFi are excellent. Nothing. unfortunately there's no room for an outdoor pool. Cest la Vie!

• Tim (9/5): Superb - Excellent size of the apartment, very good facilities in the rooms and very clean. The host was very helpful and responded very quickly to any queries. The view was amazing! The lighting could have been more flexible and less stark (e.g. a few extra lamps and some less intense cold white bulbs). A teapot is always very welcome for UK guests :)

The location was perfect, the villa was super clean, the hosts were super responsive and the check in and out were super easy. Plus, the view was an extra bonus.

Felt like everything was brand new! Fantastic views over the town and Piton, just like the picture!! Second bedroom could do with a mirror and bedside table lamps! Also blinds or voile curtains as overlooking road so needs more privacy. Main bedroom also needs second bedside table lamp as only one provided!
• Meredith (10/5): Exceptional - We loved our stay at Caldera Villas! Communication with Valna was easy and always helpful. The villa was exactly as pictured - super clean, tastefully decorated, comfortable, spacious, and with an incredible view of the city. We loved being able to walk to the grocery store and to various restaurants in town, as well as being able to have coffee on the balcony in the morning. Sugar Beach and Anse Chastanet Beach were easy drives from the villa, as was the Gros Piton Trail. One thing that we didn't expect but really appreciated was the availability of type A plugs in all the rooms, so we didn't have to use an adapter. I highly recommend staying at Caldera Villas and hope to return in the future. Thank you for such a lovely stay! Absolutely nothing! The place was exactly as described and what we needed it to be.
• Mary (10/5): Fantastic view in a beautiful unit! - This property is amazing. Everything seems to be brand new and is sparkling clean. The showers are huge and hot water is plentiful. The kitchen has a large fridge/freezer, microwave, and stove top. There is a balcony overlooking the Petit Peton. It is the same view as the Fig, but much more economical (see attached photo). Town/beach is within walking distance. The owner was easy to get a hold of and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

We wouldn't definitely stay here again! 1) The bathroom is missing a catch in the piping so odors waft into the restroom from the pipes. 2) We did not have water for a couple hours 1 morning; however, the hos arranged a beautiful and convenient alternative while the issue was addressed. 3) There is construction of 2 aparterments below the 4 finished apartments. 4) While not an issue and seemingly common in St Lucia, the air conditioning are located in the bedrooms and there is no AC in the common room.
• Linda (10/5): Absolutely Fabulous - We just got back from a amazing two week vacation here at Caldera Villas. The hosts Valana and Eddison were absolutely amazing and kind. They greeted us as we arrived at the Villa after arranging a ride from the airport for us. The Villas are new and very impressive and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The kitchen was set up with everything for cooking with a induction cooktop and microwave, we did cook a lot of our meals there. Our location was not far from most of the tourist attractions, hikes, sulfur springs and bath and waterfalls. The beauty and nature is absolutely beautiful. Doing a sulfur bath is a must we did it twice it felt so good. If you are comfortable it is worth renting a car to get around, we did for three days, Valana arranged our rental. (You drive on the opposite side of the road) I have to say my husband and I enjoyed it all so much and hated to leave.

• Mateusz (10/5): Hidden gen - Great place with amazing views. Spacious, brand new apartment. Friendly service and easy check in and check out. Parking right in front. Clean. Not sure if it is the best place for people without the car but if you have one - do not hesitate.
• Bryan (10/5): 20/10 - This is an exceptional alternative to the expensive resorts in the area. Was better & bigger than the photos suggest. Bathrooms/showers are huge. Marble throughout. Perfect direct views of Petit Piton and Soufrière harbor. Spacious balcony. Caught golden hour sunsets and rainbows (seriously) while horizontal on the living room couch. Short walk to bus station, taxis, water taxis. Plenty of parking space if you rent a car. The kitchen with cookware, plates, glasses, wine glasses, cutlery, microwave, etc is very nice touch if you want to cook. Would be my first choice on next visit to St Lucia. This place exceeded my expectations, truly. Nothing to do with Caldera Villas, but I think a car rental is necessary. You can walk about a 10-15 mins to a market and some restaurants, but a car rental would have optimized my trip overall. Arranging a taxi can definitely be a hassle (and expensive).
