• David (8/5): - Location was great central to shopping, restaurants, beaches. Unfortunately the air-conditioning in the main bedroom was not working properly, which was reported to the host.
• Slm1173 (10/5): absolutely perfect location for chilling out and kayaking - the view in person was far more incredible than in the photos? wow! walking distance to a couple of nice cafes. The Nautilus for morning coffee was fabulous. The Saigon Shack had delicious banh mi. Car hire was under a km away for car and bike. Local bus will stop when you wave your hands. Washing machine with washing powder was appreciated. Bath and beach towels. Perfect for kayaking right at the front door. Plenty of free kayaks. loved that there was shampoo/conditioner. Probably should ask Catherine to have some basics in the fridge to tide you over although out the front go left or right and there is a little supermarket within a couple of kms. good a/c. The view!!!! hundreds of fish within a metre of the sand! can walk along the beach to Charlie’s cafe turn right) awesome wifi! bottled water provided and topped up no problems. The single beds were rickety and the mattress wasn’t very comfy.

• StewyC (10/5): Beachside Bliss - A beautifully appointed villa, absolute beachfront and a great spot to enjoy a morning cuppa on the deck and watch the sunrise. A generous amount of items were provided including ample filtered drinking water, coffees, teas and Kiwi biscuits! Great having a washing machine as well as snorkelling gear and paddle boards too. Super-friendly and helpful host too! Looking forward to returning one day :-) Not a negative re the villa - I forgot my reef shoes but still comfortably managed a few swims straight off the beach from the villa :-D

• Cheree (10/5): - We loved the location and the fact it is right on the beach with amazing snorkeling at the doorstep and even kayaks. Catherine was thoughtful with the extras she provided. Our teenagers were very happy there. Only thing is we didn't get to stay the whole original booking due to a double booking so had to find some where else for 2 nights.
• Kim (10/5): 10/10 recommend ❤️ - The location for us is perfect in terms of the fabulous sandy beach, our favourite eateries (Charlie’s and Maire Nui) nearby and walk outside to the best snorkelling (Fruits of Rarotonga). Muri tourist area is close, but you’re not in the thick of it which I like. Importantly it is quiet, comfortable, has air con and everything you need is there on arrival. Host is fabulous with quick response time and nothing a problem. We were 2 couples and found the property big enough to accommodate. Nothing not to like.
• Vanessa (10/5): Amazing facilities, great host’s, beachfront, outstanding property. - The Hawaiki Villas are exactly as the photos show. Beachfront with sand staying at the bottom of a couple of stairs. You do have to step down some rocks which can be a little tricky to navigate but once you figure it out it’s easy each time. Unit is wonderful with everything you need to make your stay as comfortable as needed including snorkels/masks and reef shoes. Close to Muri (10 min walk) the Host Catherine and her husband were awesome! So helpful with local knowledge and available at the drop of a hat if needed. Wifi was good but a bit laggy here and there but overall pretty good. We are definitely going to come back here again. You will not be disappointed. Nothing to add here

I could sit on the deck and watch hubby snorkeling or kayaking. We will definitely book here again

We swam with eagle rays right in the lagoon and saw pods of whales breaching and having a play beyond the reef. The villa is very clean and tidy and has everything we needed to feel like a 'home away from home'. Catherine is an awesome host too. We will definitely be back for our next holiday in Rarotonga Nothing. Everything was perfect

Very close to the beach with good snorkelling on a calm day. Catherine, the host, was so lovely and couldn’t do enough for us. We had everything we needed and even had the bonus of Netflix! My elderly Mum struggled to get down and up from the beach - some steps would be great and although the beds in the second room were comfy, they were a bit small. Great for kids or little people:)

Also fast internet - best on the Island.

• Daryl (9/5): Lovely relaxing stay with easy access to great snorkelling - We stayed in villa Tahi. Lovely clean beachfront 2 bedroom Villa with large covered deck and natural rock steps down to the beach. Views of the lagoon and reef from the lounge, main bedroom, and deck. Great snorkelling in the lagoon straight out from the villa. Down to the right is where the lagoon cruises moor their boats while guests snorkel, we swam out there and found giant clams, and even came across a turtle while snorkelling at the fruits of Rarotonga area, just a few minutes walk/swim from the villa. Night markets, convenience store, coffee shop, Vietnamese restaurant, burgers, and massage spas all within 5-20min walk from the villas. The villa has a full kitchen with crockery, utensils etc to enable self catering. Both bedrooms have aircon & fans. Filtered drinking water is provided. Catherine and staff are lovely and very prompt at responding to any requests. Loved our stay, we’d return if able. The bathroom has nice amenities which all work well however the tile grouting is missing in quite a few places, it’s clean but it’s not as nice as it could be. The two small couches are comfortable enough but a couple of extra armchairs or bean bags would be great to enable all 4 guests to have something relaxing to sit on.
• Bianca (9/5): Wake to the sound of the ocean & view of the lagoon every day! - Awesome Beachfront Location. Snorkel & Kayak directly from the accommodation. The property needs a little repair works eg. floor tiles lifting etc. But the location & views override the flaws.

A lovely deck to have meals on and enjoy the view. Right on the beach with wonderful snorkelling right out the door. Felt private and there were some good grocery, takeaway and restaurants close by. Good kitchen to cook in. Nice beds. Catherine was very friendly and responsive. Leaving- it was a very relaxing place. Just a couple of little maintenance issues that would improve the experience- bathroom mirror needs replacing, no BBQ, privacy screen pole needs securing and a few more bowls platters for self catering. Which we communicated to Catherine when we left.

It was exactly what we were looking for and needed. The kayaks were an additional bonus that we were not expecting! A holiday home that feels like a home!

• Martijnus (9/5): Superb - The location on the southeast side of Raro is luxury. The villa is more homey and not so much luxury, but spacious and mostly clean. Easily houses 4 persons. AC in the bed rooms. Great wifi, no need to get an expensive sim card. Plenty of amenities were included, including lots of drinking water. The reef in front of the villa is one of the best in Rarotonga. We saw eagle rays every day, puffer fish, a moray eel and thousands of tropical fish. The first set of bed sheets had several stains. Standard check in is at 17:00, which can be quite late depending on your flight, but earlier check in might be possible upon request. The card machine was broken so we had to pay cash, which made our stay a bit more expensive due to atm and bank costs.

• Lisa (10/5): Peaceful Hawaiki - Great location. We snorkelled right out the front and saw colourful fish and turtles. Our highlight was seeing the whales, absolutely mesmerising. The only thing we didn't like was reversing out of the driveway. The fence and plants are in the way of seeing traffic coming from the east side of the island.
