The energy and love you can feel on this land and in the home is tangible. from the minute you drive up the beautifully landscaped driveway you know you are entering into somewhere special. You are immediately surrounded by a variety of fruit trees, cherry, peach, fig, i think some nut trees, olives…to many to mention! countless rose bushes, flowering shrubs and plants, cactus, grasses… all laid out in a way that felt like artistry. huge artichoke plants! wow! and long rows of veggies planted. i’m a gardener and love gardens and this property holds a huge labour of creativity and love all produced by this lovely and hard working young couple. their dog, diego is simply the sweetest creature! they also have a number of sweet cats, a lot of chickens and some goats. and i haven’t even gotten to what it was like staying in the trullo! what a magical structure! it was raining a little when we arrived and it felt like i’d entered a fairy tale cottage, staring up at the conical ceiling while sipping a cup of hot tea. arianna is a wonderful host, offering a detailed manual of activities in the area and a history of the trullo and surrounding area. her breakfast was beautiful. so full of variety and clearly made with love. i’m so glad i chose residenza anima mediterranea for our trullo experience. such a peaceful, enchanting balm for the soul and an experience that will stay forever in our hearts.

• Chloe (10/5): Unique, calm, and authentic oasis with amazing homemade breakfast. - This was one of the nicest and most unique stays I've had anywhere! The surroundings were so peaceful and the breakfast was so tasty! The host set up the cutest homemade breakfast area (everything tasted so fresh too) and you could tell they really put effort into making the space welcoming. It was clean, quiet and peaceful. I wish we could've stayed here for more days of our trip. The dog was also calm and welcomed us when we arrived. It was also a unique structure to stay in. Definitely recommend staying here! Nothing, it was a great stay!

L'alloggio era accogliente e molto caratteristico, sicuramente il grandissimo punto a favore era la cura nei dettagli, nelle piccole cose. La proprietaria è stata gentilissima. È stata un'esperienza bellissima poiché si era circondati da tantissimo verde: ulivi, alberi da frutto e poi la bellissima compagnia dei cani e dei gatti. Si respirava una magnifica atmosfera rilassante. Lo consiglio a tutti!

The owners take care to preserve the history and environment. Good breakfast, opportunity to enjoy the garden. Friendly dogs run around the garden. We were there in July when it was very hot, so the air conditioning was a big bonus. We arrived late and as we approached our accommodation, the navigator was unable to give us the exact location. If there had been a sign behind the railway, it would have helped.

There are luxurious apartments, and there are comfortable apartments, but this apartment is special because it has character and personality, it is furnished with love that you can touch. Ariana is a super host who pays attention to the smallest details. We felt just comfort during our stay. Away from the noise of the world. In the middle of nature, yet ten minutes by car you will be in the next city. The bed is wonderfully comfortable. Unparalleled calm. Special breakfast. Most importantly, Ariana gave us the opportunity to try Apulian food. It was the most delicious food we tried, even though we visited many restaurants. You should try the home restaurant what she offered. Just ask Irina and set a time the day before. In the end, I want to thank Ariana from the bottom of my heart for making our trip special. We have rarely slept so deeply and soundly on this trip through Puglia. Also, the kitchen is very well equipped. Arianna was such a lovely host. The breakfast was outstanding. • C (10/5): Unique home in the countryside - It was the most unique and beautiful bed and breakfast ever! Located in a picturesque olive orchard, but still close to the city, it is in the perfect location. The hostess was lovely, accommodating and made a lovely breakfast every morning.

We were only staying for one night but really loved our stay. If you are going to eat in, bring supplies as there are no shops in the immediate vicinity. Be aware that there are very friendly and curious cats and dogs - might not be to everyone's taste. One of the cats jumped into our car whilst we were packing up. Thankfully we realised before we drove away. Also, this is a remote location and the quality of the local roads isn't great.

Lovely little Trullo with a lovely bed alcove, and a separate kitchinette alcove, with everything you need for some basic cooking. Lovely peaceful location in the countryside, yet only a 10 minute drive to the lovely local town Francavilla Fontana with restaurants, shops etc. (tip: small free car park behind the Nuovarredo Arena, off the SP26 road, minutes walk out of town). Lovely variety of breakfast food also provided, inc delicious home-make cakes ! Simple outdoor seating as well. Easy key pickup from a lock box even though we arrived after midnight. It’s clean and decorated beautifully within tradition of typical Puglian features. It’s super peaceful and the trullo was gorgeous. It’s fully equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay and the touches for breakfast were really thoughtful and delicious. the location is a bit difficult to get to during the night as none of the surrounding lanes are lit up. You certainly need a car to get to/from this property and to drive carefully.
