Guest Reviews
- edward (10/5): - The best cottage I have ever had the privilege to rent Their is nothing not to like
- Judith (10/5): Perfect stay, can’t wait to come back. - Beautiful, cosy, clean cottage in a stunning village. Delightful garden and great location. Fun games room. Lovely host.
- Lisa (10/5): Very comfortable stay - Beautiful little cottage a few miles out of Stamford and was perfect for me whilst I was in the area for work. The cottage is very comfortable and had everything I needed. The private parking was a real bonus as was the games room. I will definitely stay here again. Although it worked, the Wi-Fi wasn't the best but that's probably due to the remoteness of the property

- Cheryl (10/5): Better than I could have imagined. I will be going back again soon. - Perfect location, beautiful clean cottage and wonderful hostess who went out of her way to make sure I had everything I needed. N/A
- Clare (10/5): 5 star cottage in beautiful location - Everything was amazing about this place, it was like stepping back in time. The cottage was cosy, comfortable and clean. It had lots of great character features and we just felt right at home. Beds were comfy, shower was great and most importantly it was quiet. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be back. WiFi was a bit weak. Smart TV in the main lounge would be good.
- Cheryl (10/5): Perfect location, very friendly owner and of course a beautiful village - Nicola went out of her way to make sure I had everything I needed and the cottage was beautiful

- Paul (10/5): Super short stay in lovely cottage very close to Stamford. - Fabulous cottage in picturesque village. Everything about Garden Cottage was perfect for our three day visit to the region and only a short drive to Stamford, Rutland Water and Burghley House. The Cottage is very comfortable and nicely furnished and well equipped. Lovely private garden and the games room was great fun. We would love to return one day. Nothing
- Samantha (8/5): Amazing - Perfect location , even Lola the dog and the neighbourhood cat were friendly lovely hosts! Games room was even a little treat too

- Michael (10/5): Perfect place for a couples weekend away, quiet, peaceful & relaxing. - The location was easy to access and in a lovely village, the cottage looked beautiful outside and in, the games room is a wonderful addition to what is a beautiful relaxing place to stay and we look forward to returning. I can't think of anything.
- Julie (9/5): - Lovely cosy cottage, quiet with gorgeous garden. The kitchen wasn't that well equipped for cooking.
- Daynes (10/5): Lovely warm homely cottage - Great location, out the way from busy lifestyle. The cottage is a sweet homely place that was perfect for a relaxing weekend away.
The whole property was very clean throughout.
Little extras were left for our stay.
The games room was an added bonus. 😁
- Owen (10/5): Had a lovely time, particularly liked the games room, hope to visit again - Lovely cottage, beautiful location, owner very helpful, would love to visit again
- Nicky (9/5): Very enjoyable stay, the cottage was very comfortable and not far from Stamford which we came to vis - The cottage was set in a very pretty village

- amy (10/5): Beautiful cottage, superbly clean and stunning village. - Key code was sent prior to arrival. Host was onsite for arrival also.
- Ann (10/5): Great cottage in a great location - Beautiful little cottage in a great location. The kitchen was well equipped and a lovely orchid garden to the rear with a large table and chairs. The games room was a nice little bonus Minor gripe, and this is indicative of many properties I visit ,but when we sat in the lounge at night there was nowhere to put our drinks down other than the shelves in the window, we observed that there was plenty of room for a nest of tables which would solve the problem, but as I say it's a very minor gripe and certainly wouldn't stop me booking the cottage again
- Markos Charalambides (10/5): Very comfortable and relaxing - The location of the property was excellent, as we were taking part in the Global BirdFair and wanted to be nearby. As well as this, there was a beautiful garden at the back of the house which was perfect to sit in and enjoy our meals. The host was very friendly, even offering to take us into town so that we could have drinks with our dinner. I wish we could have stayed for longer Only small issue was that there was no parking available for us at the property and we had to park on the road and walk in. Could be an issue if there is heavy rain, but we got lucky with lovely weather
- Anthony (10/5): Very quiet, relaxing base. Would highly recommend - Quaint picturesque cottage in a quiet village Kitchen facilities, no washing machine
- neil (10/5): Relaxation with a pair of lovely cats. - So peaceful and quiet. Amazing location. Maybe the only gripe was the mattresses. Little bit hard but that was it.
- Andrea (10/5): Perfect place to explore the area. From a beautiful cottage - Amazing games room. Perfect little garden to sit out in . Hosts happy to help . Nothing not to like ! It was a perfect getaway
- Ashley (10/5): Exceptional -
- April (10/5): Idyllic cottage in a beautiful village well worth a visit or two . - Everything was perfect. The cottage is delightful , a perfect retreat to rest and explore Stamford . It was exceptionally clean , the beds were super comfy and it was located in a gorgeous village. My friend and I had a wonderful time here and would certainly recommend to others.
The local pub served the best pizza I’ve ever eaten .locals are friendly and welcoming.
There’s a great games area which would be perfect for children and adults alike . I’m thinking of booking the family in and a never return to properties visited, but this cottage is a little gem. Absolutely nothing to dislike.
- Steve (10/5): Lovely stay at this beautiful cottage, very cosy and well equipped. - Idyllic setting, gorgeous little cottage. Nothing
