The moment, when you wake up in the morning, open the window and see hot air ballons finishing their journey at the edge of desert, it was quite impressive and we liked the views from rooftop. Our apartment was clean, we were the only guests in the inn, so the place was very calm. It's quite away from city centre, use Indrive app for taxi, they are cheap and works in big cities in Egypt. Owners were fine and helpful. There is a fridge with softdrinks in the reception, so you don't have to seek some in a town. Breakfast was served on a rooftop, it was fine, don't expect euroamerican buffet style of breakfast, it was enough to statisfy our hunger for a while, nothing big, but quite good. There are some groceries near around, we loved fried chicken nearby (Broast Albaik) for dinner for example. Wifi wasn't stable, we had to go to the reception for a proper signal.

• Jim (9/5): It was a great, quiet location with an awesome view and friendly hosts. A bit far from town. - The beds were comfy and the apartment was spacious and clean. Khoduray and his family, along with Muhammed, treated us like family, even helping us a lot during a personal emergency. We got a good price on the Hot Air Balloon ride and the apartment was a good value. The location is a bit far from restaurants, markets and shops, so Khoduray had to drove us to places. As travelers, we wanted to have more independence.
• Belinda (8/5): We really enjoyed our stay - I loved that I didn’t have worry or think about anything. The host and staff were exceptional. Determined to make your stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. It’s set up like a private hotel. The entire premises is very clean and well kept. Aircon’s in the bedrooms for a good nights rest. Beautiful refreshing pool to swim in after being out in the heat. The meals served on the rooftop are amazing i highly recommend eating there, also with a view of the valley of the kings. They even organised pizzas for the kids. The host has a nice new car for anything that you need or places you want to go. Anything you want to do like tours, transfers, balloon ride, felucca ride the host will organise at a good price. for a stress free trip I recommend doing this as well as airport transfers. You don’t need to worry about a thing. We needed breakfast at 5:30am, it was no problem. They will collect drinks for you to have by the pool. The host also speaks very good English. It’s important to note that if you visit during the summer months you need to respectful of power usage as you do anywhere in Luxor. Also important to know that it is located on the west side of the river near the valley of the kings. It’s a lot quieter and away from the city hustle and bustle.
