Guest Reviews
- Emma (10/5): Charming house right on the town centre with plenty of room for a group. - Excellent house just 5 mins walk to the main town centre. Enough parking for 2 cars. Plenty of room for 5 people to sit in the main room and sleep. Bathroom and kitchen were a good size. Host was easy to contact and helpful when need some info. The house had lots of character which we loved.
- Jonathon (10/5): Amazing stay, and beautiful property - Beautiful property and location was perfect for our yearly visit to Glastonbury, will definitely be back! Nothing, was amazing!
- zara (9/5): - Everything. Beds were very comfy Curtains could be a little more light blocking in 2 of the bedrooms
- Gertrud (10/5): Had a really lovely stay. Perfect location. - Very central Big space, great sizes of room, clean
- SJ (9/5): Delightful. - In town, but no traffic noise! Charming garden. Great view of sunset sky from landing window. Kind host not only fulfilled our special request, but considerately provided extra.
- Jones (8/5): Lovely Cottage in a great part of the town, - We have been coming down to Glastonbury 2 or 3 times a year for 15 years, we have had places on the outskirts of town but just wanted a Lovely cottage, that was just a short walk from the centre which is what we had. The weather was good so I sat out on the front in the morning with a brew watching the butterflies and dragonflies was lovely. A short walk to everything that you need, it was in the perfect location for us.
Comfortable lounge area, Bedrooms were nice with clean white bedding and lovely white bath towels. Great hot shower and bathroom. A really quiet area too, was so peaceful. Loved the garden we even watered some of the veggies growing, i was missing my own garden, could have gotten down and done some weeding and gardening it was that nice. The main bedroom was lovely, but needed curtains or a blind on the window, we were woke early every morning as it was so bright in the room (however it was amazing watching the Full sturgeon moon through the nets at night)
Good kitchen however we do cook the odd meal, the roasting tins we found were full of burnt on food in the corners, and some of the pans and dishes had not been washed well by previous visitors, was full of grease marks, so we had to wash everything again. The fridge was empty but the shelves had not been wiped down and there was what i can only say beetroot marks on the top shelf, again i had to clean the fridge before we put anything in.
The handrail going up the stairs was very dirty, i thought it was just old paint, but when i cleaned the bottom section, I saw that it just wasn't clean. It might seem I am being picky, but i am in the hospitality business, and the little things make the difference, maybe a word with the cleaning company. If it hadn't been for these few things i would of definitely given it a ten
This would not in any way stop us from booking the cottage again. It was lovely. And the host Dawn was lovely and answered all our questions on the way down.

- Andrea (9/5): -
- Sian (7/5): Enjoyed our stay, adequate as we were attending a wedding, wouldn’t stay there if going for longerif - Cosy
Comfy bed Location! In amongst lots of houses, not near anything like coffee shops etc - not obvious anyway
Also quite tired - needs a bit of a facelift - lounge carpet, general decor
But probably reflected in cost
Main bedroom curtains let in light - wakes you up very early! Needs blackout blinds
- Julie (7/5): Very pleasant overall with just a couple of niggles that would have made the stay perfect if resolved - A beautiful place with loads of charm, well decorated and cosy, perfect location, 5 mins from town, peaceful and quiet. Lack of WiFi or tv aerial and the shower wasn’t great.
- Nicola (8/5): Very good -
- Williams (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, lovely house, excellent facilities - perfect for our stay. A cosy house, with hot shower, and just a short walk to the town centre. Everything was ideal for our stay.
- Selina (10/5): Even - Amazing So special
- Clive (7/5): Great location in walking distance of town. Accommodation was a little bit worn and in need of attention. - Location great Little information. Not enough seats in the lounge. No microwave or freezer. Carpets stained.
- Jemma (10/5): Exceptional - The cleaver use of space and the small details like snacks and the view. The hosts were informative, lovely and it was just a great getaway.
We've recently been bereft via eldest child and so are on a healing journey as such and I just found this place was a near walk to town and a cute place to heal. Very close to tor and challace well. I'd happily stay again, there nothing that I didn't like
