• Amanda (7/5): Quiet and good - very clean, very quiet and lovely outlook I didnt realise there is no staff there, you need to call them to access the building, no one on site, you pick up a key from an unmanned reception. This was not good when I arrived on a dark stormy day and everything looked closed up with no one to greet you, I had to search around to find a phone number to contact someone

• Simtay (5/5): Except for not having a spare blanket in the room it was a very comfortable weekend - Nice quiet location and easy for parking There was no spare blanket just a slim duvet. I had to find a staff member at 11pm to request an extra duvet so I could get warm enough to sleep.

• Ark (6/5): It's just kind of weird. - Room was very spacious, and the spa bath was really nice. It's not too far from some good shops, and there's a great view of the park across the street. It's in a pretty quiet area of Hamilton, so it was nice to just hang out in the room and relax. The mattress was soft, and the staff are very casual and friendly. The windows have no mechanism to open, which makes the room get kinda stuffy. The room I was staying in had angled windows by the roof with a solid black finish- presumably for privacy- but during the day it soaks all the heat from the sun and the room gets uncomfortably hot- even the A/C was struggling to diffuse the heat. The bed appeared to be a double bed, but it was actually two single mattresses pushed together with double-bed linens on top. The day before I was due to check out, it started raining pretty heavily, and a couple of the seams between the windows and roof were leaking, so the rain soaked into the carpet, and almost into my luggage had I not travelled with a hard-cover suitcase. I let the staff know, they said they'd pass it along, and that's all I heard. There's no door hangers or anything to let housekeeping know you'd rather not be disturbed or when you'd like your room to be made, so I politely turned them down the first couple of days because I was staying inside, then I was out and about for the following two days, thinking housekeeping would go in while I was out, but the room was the same when I got back- it's fine, I just don't know what the housekeeping policy or schedule is. There was one day I had headphones on, so I don't know if they knocked or not, but they just let themselves into my room- so again, I'm confused about when and how housekeeping happens. Overall nothing too heinous happened, just small things here and there. It's probably good enough for an overnight stay, but I wouldn't recommend a longer stay like mine.

• Courtney (8/5): - No issues, expedia had USD instead of NZD when booking which was a bit frustrating as I was a bit confused on how much we were being charged until I realized, not sure how and why that happened, if searching for a motel in NZ I'd think it would naturally come up with NZD but will be more careful next time. Other than that the stay was good, no complaints

• Kelly (7/5): Value for money accommodation in the CBD. Decent room size, Comfy bed. Decent bathroom. - Location very good if you are intending on visiting the CBD. Opposite Waikato stadium - not much road noise. Reasonable amount of parking. Access to the manager via mobile if required.

• Lisa (8/5): Happy customers - I loved our room, my adult children had two rooms as well, those were in ok shape 👌🏽 good for an overnight stay the location was really close to the stadium and all amenities! The rubbish on arrival, but to be fair we showed up early, it was hard to get hold of reception but like I said we turned up early and he was still cleaning rooms, we had to ring his cell phone multiple times to get a hold of him, our kids got given the wrong room, but that also may have come down to the time we showed up.

• Michael (6/5): It was OK, but we thought we were getting a motel, which it is not - The air con was good and the bathroom was good, especially the spa bath. It was clean and comfortable enough but just very small and smaller than we expected but I suppose I did not check the room size thoroughly enough. The property is called a motel but it is not like any motel I've ever stayed at, it's just a small hotel with small rooms. there was a lot of noise coming from outside which made proper sleep difficult and the cleaning service for the room was very random

It was just a tad pricier than others of similar standards but the location ups the price I guess. The set up of the check in desk wasn’t overly welcoming and made it feel like a hostel. • Hingatu (7/5): Comfortable stay - Friendly staff despite noone being there on our arrival but good communication when needed. Good sized room for a couple. Good air conditioning. Kitchen pretty well stocked even though we didn't really use. Clean and tidy. Good wifi connection and TV options. Serviced each day with towels and rubbish bin emptied. Convenient on-site parking and nice stroll to city Not sure about the bed ..was a little "saggy' and pillows quite hard. Not a biggie but there was no milk in fridge.

• Thekingdom (3/5): Poor - I booked a room with spar, and as I parked my car I got a call from the motel telling me that the room with spar was not available and blamed booking.com. I ddnt buy that. It was too late in the evening to look for another accommodation. They refunded me like $30 and I wasn't happy staying in that room for $195. I booked the room because of the spar.Funny thing was that they still had a room with spar available but did not want to upgrade me for the same price.
