ATM within walking distance. Forgot to check outlet type before my trip, grateful they also had Type B (US/CA) outlets in the room. Saw sea turtle close to shore.

• Jules127 (9/5): A wonderful stay with all needs met, for a relaxing holiday - It was good to be back at Mariners after many years, just as wonderful for it's location to everything I needed including walking distance to restaurants/bars, easy access to public transportation and a twenty minutes drive to and from the airport. Set directly on the seashore, you're provided with excellent views of the evening sunsets, along with neighboring grenadine islands in the distance, it never gets old...including stone throw away young island. The property has a laid back vibe, with friendly and welcoming staff especially at reception...the grounds is beautifully maintained, a restaurant with a view on site, a clean and comfortable room with amenities welcomes me on a daily during my stay...not to forget my balcony views as well. I truly enjoyed my stay at Mariners and can't wait for another opportunity to visit again. Just for the hotel to remind visiting patrons to be mindful of loud music when entering/parking their vehicles, as some do have music blaring when coming to conduct business.

Taxi and trips arranged by the reception from hotel the guide had no knowledge of birds which is what it was booked for. Second guide only allowed 20 minutes at Montreal Gardens and drove me around for an hour and a half on other pickups passing my hotel waste of time and money not at all recommended .

• Keziah (8/5): Wonderful stay at Mariners - This was a perfect location near to a wonderful beach. The staff was extremely pleasant! I forgot to get all their names but Whitney was a total darling and made sure we checked in comfortably! I interacted with two other beautiful ladies at front desk who helped me coordinate my trip. The facility was clean and very well mentained. One of the rooms (103) had an odor coming from the sink, despite efforts from housekeeping to address the issue.

• rajeev (9/5): Absolutely beautiful seaside location with great front desk - The location on the seashore was idyllic on the water. Whitney at the front desk was outstanding, helped me find someone to tour the island and was very easy to work with at checkin even before the assigned time. She arranged an airport taxi for next morning which arrived promptly. One of the best seaside hotel locations one could hope for. While the restaurant French Verandah was amazingly situated the woman at the entrance who seated me (Sun Jan 18 evening dinner) made sure I was at the only water-side table with a HUGE TREE obstructing the sunset view!! said other tables were "reserved". Seemed a bit hostile for no reason, the place was almost entirely empty.. For hours no one occupied those tables, then even another couple moved to a water-side table. Also I had ordered a fish roti and a vegetable roti but received a fish roti and a chicken roti (not vegetable), delicious nonetheless. These were minor staff behaviour issues compared to the heavenly sunset meal I enjoyed. Perhaps an opportunity for improvement, could learn from the incedibly welcoming hotel front desk.

• Joanne (9/5): - Location is absolutely stunning. The photograph on Booking.com do not do it justice. My room was cleaned and made up everyday. Very good water pressure and hot water in the shower. Swimming pool was lovely and clean. Great for cooling off in. The staff were all charming, helpful and polite. Easy access into the capital by road transport. A cluster of other bars and restaurants within easy walking distance also on the bay. The restaurant within the hotel serves delicious food. Ate there most days and was never disappointed by the quality. Breakfast Frence toast and pancakes particularly good. Whilst the food in the restaurant was of a high standard, it isn't the cheapest and more importantly can take an awfully long time to arrive. I understand thatca lot of it is cooked fresh; just do not expect a quick in and out feed. The a/c unit in my room struggled at night to really cool down my apartment.
• Richard (6/5): Decent location, average food in the restaurant, would stay elsewhere next time - Decent sized room & swimming pool was decent but restaurant food (especially the pizzas were like cardboard) really sub par food for a 4 star hotel. Decent location nearby restaurants & bars but their food was also not up to standard. Close proximity to Young Island which is a short ferry ride away. Food in the restaurant was really average, happy hour drinks only on Friday's, should be every day to generate more business & create a better atmosphere.

(except the bathroom had a gross yellow stain by the toilet.) there is no “beach” like in the pictures. A tiny piece of sand that isn’t used. The restaurant staff could use some support - maybe another cook so food comes out hot and not waiting over 1 hour for food.

The pool was also the highlight as there isn’t much of a beach near by (unless you cross to Young Island, super cute beach). The restaurant offers a varied menu; I liked everything I ordered. ITS a hotel at the end of a boardwalk (not so nice) with more bars then restaurants. Noise level is bad on Saturday. It went on into the night. Unfortunately the Mariner’s cannot do much. So if you can, Friday and Saturday to be avoided that is if loud music (the bass) bothers you.

• Priscilla (8/5): Great beachfront location on Villa Beach with spacious rooms and friendly staff - Great location on Villa Beach with beautiful water views. The food at the on-site restaurant, French Veranda, was tasty and well prepared, and the service was generally good. While some of the restaurant staff were more pleasant than others, Thomas stood out as exceptional—kind, attentive, and very accommodating. The room was spacious, and daily housekeeping was provided. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful; Lornell and Whitney were a pleasure to work with. Although the room was comfortably cool, the air-conditioning unit was somewhat loud. The airport pickup taxi I reserved through the hotel did not work out as expected. The driver asked me to wait while he looked for additional passengers, even though it was not supposed to be a shared ride. I was able to find another taxi at the airport, where there appears to be an organized system for assigning passengers to waiting taxis. I would recommend confirming the fare in advance before committing. There was also a lack of communication regarding New Year’s Eve celebrations at the on-site restaurant. While I likely should have asked in advance, I was surprised to learn that reservations were required and that no availability remained when I went for dinner. This was not a major issue, however, as there are several nearby restaurant options.

• Michael (8/5): Great location, with lovely staff - Superb location. Right by the sea, and halfway between the airport and the ferry dock in Kingstown. Excellent check in experience. Rooms spacious, well equipped, and very comfortable. Lovely ambience in the hotel And not withstanding the adverse comment below, we love it, and have stayed here often, and will be aiming to stay here again. Service is often a bit slow. For example, B'fast was due to start at 7am: no dining area staff in sight at that time. we'd pre-ordered b'fast (recommended by the lady on the payment desk- a very good suggestion.Thank you!) since we had limited time before our taxi came: a simple continental breakfast. It came at 07:25.

• David (10/5): Great hotel with stunning views - We stayed here for 4 nights over Christmas and we had a fantastic stay. Our room had a perfect view over the pool and solarium, and across to the nearby Young Island. It was not one of the refurbished rooms, and you could say that it was a little 'tired', but it was still very comfortable and more than OK for our needs. The bed was large and comfortable, the WiFi worked very well for us, and the AC was effective. Communication before we arrived was excellent, with my questions always being answered very promptly and in a detailed manner. Everything was equally good once we arrived, with all of the staff being super-friendly and helpful. The food was very tasty, especially the Christmas Day buffet, and we found it to be reasonably priced. Thank you, we were very happy with our choice. Whilst the shower was OK and the water was hot, we would have liked it better if the water pressure had been a little stronger.

The restaurant served a variety of foods and what myself and my family had was delicious and delivered in a timely manner. The staff were all very pleasant and mannerly. The price paid was for accommodation only, which in hindsight was slightly pricey compared to what I have received at other places and the TV in my room had no sound. Also the communication between the restaurant and reception is rather slow. I checked out an hour or so after finishing breakfast and asked reception if I had any outstanding balances. They responded no, so I assumed my breakfast must have been included in the price. However, not long after I arrived home I received a phone call to say I hadn't paid for my breakfast and needed to do so. In my opinion this should have been sent through to reception when I was asked my room number at breakfast. Not the biggest issue, but could have been avoided

The location is perfect and the staff are super friendly, they know us. The food is good. Our room is ready for renovation, it’s looking tired and worn, however, the staff have assured us that this will happen soon. We would still stay there even without renovation because we love the location, right next to the water.

• Susan (7/5): Fine but could’ve been better - especially the restaurant - The location was perfect on the seafront. However difficult to go anywhere without a car. There are a few restaurants on the boardwalk but most pretty poor and villa beach is also rather small, black sand and very busy. It was a tad rundown. Service was slow but most of the staff were great. It felt rather empty most of the time.
• Alston R (9/5): Nice hotel in Villa - Hotel has a nice location in Villa, just across from Young Island which is free to reach. Along the adjacent boardwalk, there are a few bars and restaurants. Reception staff, in particular Lornell, were excellent. Room was spacious good value for money. The onsite French Verandah restaurant served a variety of food which was delicious. We requested the hotel to send a taxi to collect us from airport, but it didn't come, allegedly due to a mechanical issue. Fortunately, the price of the airport taxis is the same (US$30 in December 2025). There was a noise, believed to originate from a dehumidifier, which disturbed us during the night. Lornell managed the situation expertly and moved us to another room which was really nice with only the beautiful noise of the sea.

• Leslie (8/5): Convenient, pleasant stay on St Vincent - Staff was very nice & helpful! And nice to have in room coffee refilled everyday (maxwell house) Would have been nice to know what their happy hour deals were
