• Lara (8/5): Großes Zimmer mit guter Lage, aber ein paar Abstrichen - Das Zimmer war groß und hell. Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett und wir haben viele Tipps per WhatsApp für Restaurants, Frühstück, etc. erhalten. Die Lage war gut, da das Homestay nicht an einer der lauten Hauptstraßen von Ho-Chi-Minh-Ciy liegt, sondern etwas versetzt in einer schmalen Nebenstraße. Hier gab es auch nebenan ein leckeres Banh Mi zum essen. Das Homestay lag aber nicht direkt im Zentrum der Sehenswürdigkeiten, innerhalb von 15-20 Minuten zu Fuß hat man die wesentlichen aber erreicht - oder man nimmt sich ein Taxi/Grab. Für alle Partywütigen liegt etwa 10 Minuten in der Gegenrichtung eine Partymelie mit Bars und Clubs. Des Weiteren steht in der Unterkunft eine Waschmaschine zur Verfügung, die gratis genutzt werden kann. Die Betten waren leider nicht so gemütlich. Bei der dünnen Matratze habe ich doch deutlich die Federn gespürt. Außerdem waren sehr sehr viele Tauben vor dem Fenster, die da gefühlt Boxkämpfe abgehalten haben. Es hat da leider immer wieder etwas gerumpelt, aber dafür können die Betreiber ja nichts. Der Balkon ist groß, hier hätte man aber villeicht noch etwas mehr draus machen können. Allgemein sieht man mancher Einrichtung an, dass sie schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist (z.B. Duschvorrichtungen), funktioniert hat aber alles. Allerdings muss man sagen, dass es für den Preis und die Lage in Ho-Chi-Minh-City wahrscheinlich ein faires und ausreichendes Zimmer ist, vermutlich muss man für mehr Komfort preislich ein Regal höher greifen.

Все необходимые удобства в номере имеются, а также прекрасный персонал и владельца, они нам помогли с поздним заездом и дали рекомендации по посещению достопримечательностей и вкусных кафе рядом. Если возникали вопросы - персонал и владелица всегда были на связи. А ещё у нас был большой классный телевизор в номере и ванна.

• Minh Man (10/5): Comfortable and Homely Stay in the Heart of District 1 - I had a wonderful stay at Maiam Homestay in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. The apartment was very clean and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. It truly felt like being at home. One of the best things was how well-equipped the place was. There was a washing machine with dryer, a microwave, an air fryer, pots and pans, and a stove for cooking — all free to use. This made my stay very convenient, especially for a longer visit. Communication was also excellent. Any questions I had through WhatsApp were answered within 5 minutes, which I really appreciated. The price-quality ratio is excellent, and the location is perfect: very central in District 1, yet surprisingly quiet. In the morning you can hear some pigeons, but it is not disturbing at all and actually adds to the local atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and homely stay in Ho Chi Minh City! Nothing.

Went above and beyond to help us… sending recommendations for loads of local places to eat drink and explore. Super handy washing/drying machine located on the top floor (Even helped us with taking our drying to our room whilst we were out one day) and sorting out our luggage on our last day when we had checked out to keep it stored and safe for us! It was great having free laundry available as well as an area to cook if you wanted to. The homestay was located down an alley away from the main busy street making it much quieter but easy to access restaurants etc. Mie was so welcoming and eager to help with anything needed. There wasn't a thing to not like.

• Hannes (9/5): Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt - Die Inhaberin, die uns schon vor der Anreise kontaktierte, war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Gemeinsam mit ihrem Onkel, der sich vor Ort um die Zimmer kümmert, sind sie sehr nette Gastgeber. Das Zimmer und vor allem der tolle Balkon haben uns sehr gut gefallen. Auch die Lage ist super. Wenn wir vor die Tür gingen, waren wir mitten im lebendigen Getümmel der Stadt. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl und gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Ungefragt wurde uns ein großer Wasserkanister bereitgestellt. Weitere Handtücher haben wir auf Nachfrage ebenfalls sofort bekommen. Außerdem konnten wir eine Küche nutzen, wenn wir das wollten. Alles in allem eine tolle Unterkunft. Die Dusche ist nicht extra abgetrennt vom Rest des Bades. Wenn man da duscht, flutet man das ganze Bad. Es dauert einige Zeit, bis der Boden dann wieder ganz trocken ist. Das hat uns allerdings nicht so sehr gestört.

• Athira (9/5): Great stay - I like that there was an elevator. Everything worked with codes and that was a good thing because I don't need to carry a key. Whenever I had any questions, I got immediate response from WhatsApp. The bed was comfortable and amenities were good. A good point from other stays is that they provided hand wash. There was a washing machine right outside my room along with a small kitchen. That was very helpful. The uncle at the stay was very helpful as well. Thank you This is not a con of the stay itself but there was construction going on for the road right Infront of the stay. There was no noise but when it rained, it was a bit uncomfortable.

Das Zimmer war sauber und es gab Pflegeprodukte. Frau Mie ist sehr freundlich..Sie hat mir Tipps für meinen Aufenthalt gegeben. Ich kann die Unterkunft weiter empfehlen.
• Michael (10/5): For the price, it just doesn't get any better. - For the price, Miaim was EXCEPTIONAL. Clean, quiet, safe, it's all I look for as I travel and attempt to get cost effective accommodation. What I did not expect the additional FANTASTIC, prompt service I got from the manager and her staff. I was accommodated in all ways requested, the location is great with lots of good eating and sightseeing options nearby and the homestay is down a quiet a quiet but clean, tidy and friendly laneway in the heart of a busy city. For the price, it just doesn't get any better. No downsides to report!

Nosaltres ens vàrem queixar i les dues darreres nits ens van traslladar (sense càrrec) a una habitació una mica més gran, i amb balcó al segon pis. Les habitacions i el bany força nets.  L'espai comú que es veu a les fotos serveix de pàrquing per motos. És un bon lloc, tranquil, per allotjar-se si  vols estar a prop del Districte I (cosa que no recomano gens). El millor de l'allotjament és el cafè de la cantonada (Co Ba Thi Cafè), i que és molt a prop del Tao Dan Park (Công viên Tao Đàn), on és imprescindible anar a primeríssima hora per veure passar la vida. La comunicació amb Mie, sempre per WhatsApp, perfecte.

• Alice1689 (9/5): Central and super host - The room is spacious enough, and the position is central. The host was lovely and super helpful as one of us was sick during our stay. She was always available on WhatsApp and super responsive. We appreciated her help during our time there. Thank you Easy check-in and checkout. The building is in a small alley, and it can get a bit noisy in the early mornings, but obviously, this has nothing to do with the host or the homestay itself

• Imene (8/5): - The location is great within walking minutes to the market and major attraction, the bus station was also nearby which was convenient for me . The room was super nice and clean. They let me check in early and gave me a 5l bottle of water. There is a kitchen for those who want to cook and store something in the fridge . The host and here uncle were super nice and always helpful. She even gave me recommendations on where to buy souvenirs. If one isn't bothered by the sound, I would definitely recommend this place it's perfect. The windows weren't soundproof, and additionally, there were works on the street below, and on my last night, they worked through the night, so I couldn't sleep . But I know there isnt always work like this, but the soundproofing needs upgrade .

• Mark (9/5): Great value hotel providing everything an independent traveler needs for a great stay in Saigon - Great value hotel with en-suite bathroom, air-con, kettle and fridge; perfect for a six-day stay in this modern and exciting city. It is only 5-10 minutes walk from the bars and restaurants of Bui Vien Street and very close to 23 September Park; also within walking distance of the main tourist sights of Lam Son Square, Opera House and City Hall. It is located down a small lane that is not easy to find, but the great thing about this is that it makes it so very quiet and peaceful I was particularly grateful for having someone to meet me and let me in even though I did not arrive until 11.30 p.m. from my incoming flight. There are also laundry facilities for guests to use upstairs and they even had complimentary umbrellas in the lobby; very useful if one visits in the rainy season Cannot fault this place at all, but make sure you have a reliable and knowledgeable taxi driver to help find it for you

She regularly checked in on us and made sure we had everything we needed. She and her uncle accommodated all our requests with a smile. 😊The room was spacious, clean, and even more beautiful in person than in the photos. I SWEAR. We also really loved the location, just a short walk to Nguyen Trai shopping street, Bui Vien night street, and tons of great food spots nearby!

• Ling (10/5): 很棒！ - 地理位置优越，在第一区，可以轻松去到战争纪念博物馆、独立宫、中央邮局等景点。房东Mie和她的叔叔总是响应迅速，热情周到，十分友好。民宿在街旁的巷子里，但也很安全。进门挂着很多奖牌奖杯，是优秀的人呢。房间很可爱，各种设施齐全，能自助洗衣，对于单独出行的我来说已经足够。总之，这里也让我对胡志明初印象很好。 目前民宿前面正在修路，下雨天会泥泞，但是房东的叔叔会帮忙拿行李，修完后肯定会好很多。因为房间在二楼，所以早上有时会被下面的说话声和鸽子的叫声闹醒。不过这都是小问题，早点睡就可以了。我只是反映一下我在住宿期间的情况，不算是不满意的问题。

• Louisa (10/5): - Wir hatten einen super Aufenthalt. Mie und ihr Onkel sind wirklich sehr nett. Wir konnten Mie jederzeit erreichen und all unsere Fragen stellen. Sie hat uns auch sehr viele Tipps gegeben. Das Zimmer war großzügig und sauber. Insbesondere die Waschmaschine und der Trockner waren super. Die Wäsche konnte man auch super auf dem Balkon trocknen und aufhängen. Die Lage ist ebenfalls sehr gut. Wir können einen Aufenthalt wärmstens empfehlen!

• Isadora (6/5): Bom custo benefício mas obra na rua dificulta acesso (principalmente a noite) - É bem confortável e gostei que o check in foi feito de forma remota (o que foi bom no meu caso pois cheguei tarde!). Tanto a dona quanto o homem q me recebeu foram super solícitos e simpáticos! A rua está em obra e não entra carro - o que, por mais que não seja culpa do hotel, dificulta demais o acesso - principalmente à noite! A obra é de esgoto, e voltando pro hotel a noite vi MUITA barata e rato, infelizmente!
