Guest Reviews
- Ian (10/5): Excellent location in the comfortable lodge is highly recommended - Foxglove Lodge was a great location, very peaceful but not to far to get to New Quay or Aberaeron. The lodge was well located on the park with an elevated view from the generous decking area. The lodge was clean & tidy - it had all the comforts needed for our stay including towels & bedding.
En-suite to the bedrooms were very good, lounge was comfortable and the kitchen / dining was excellent.
All in all we would highly recommended Foxglove Lodge (and we have all ready told friends). Key code supplied by Booking.com was incorrect and we didn’t receive the code for the main access barrier into the park.

- Amanda (6/5): Room for improvement!! - Location... stayed here numerous times before. Very peaceful surroundings. Only net curtains on main lounge windows, which did not offer enough privacy.
Caravan was a little damp, with a number of flies to begin with.
Shower in ensuite was very cramped, we couldn't open the door on the larger one, so did not use . Kitchen splash backs were all coming off the wall and so was the toilet roll holder in second bedroom.
However this caravan, 'not lodge' due to the size is in one of the better locations on park.
- Anne (9/5): Beautiful place would definitely stay again - Beautiful location There was nothing that we didn’t like
- Beryl (10/5): - The lodge was lovely, clean and very comfortable.very nice welcome pack...towels, coffee, tea and t towels all supplied with shower soaps...even doggy treats, towels n toys. Nice and tranquil site...Lovely walks n doggy wash place...
- Fiona (10/5): Excellent stay - Attention to detail - fabulous location, accommodation was perfect everything provided - would absolutely stay here again There was nothing I would change
- Laura (10/5): Superb! - The lodge was superb! It was extremely clean, cosy and spacious for our family of four and had everything we needed for our 4 night stay. It really was home from home and we didn’t want to leave! Nothing! You couldn’t ask for nicer accommodation.
- Louise (10/5): - Lovely lodge, very clean and well equipped

- Windham (9/5): very comfortable and enjoyable. - location great, easy to get to, walks for dog. Not far from newquay.
Facilities all great.
- Nigel (10/5): A bit of heaven in wales - Everything, our newly found piece of heaven Nothing
- Elaine (10/5): Time at foxglove lodge - Nice quite site Liked everything about site
- Rachel (10/5): Excellent lodge - The lodge was outstanding. They have thought of everything from dog poop bags to rainy day games.
It was so clean and the linen smelt amazing! Sofa pulled out as a bed, which was great as my son didn't want to share with his sister.
Lovely and quiet with a view of the park. Unfortunately nothing on site was open all Bank Holiday. Bar open for special events only , shop unavailable to get milk or anything for the kids.
- Michelle (9/5): Quiet and Peaceful Break - The lodge was just perfect, very clean, in a lovely elevated position with lovely decking, we sat out in the evening watching the sunset. Everything you need is provided even our dog enjoyed the doggy treats...
We enjoyed visiting Newquay which is just a short drive away, and lots of other lovely places.
Great communication and clear instructions given.
Thank you we had a very enjoyable stay Just about the site itself. The dog park seemed a bit small, not much space to run around off lead. Also at night there was not much lighting, a few had broken, quite hard to see our dog when doing the last walk of the night...a torch is required we had to use our phone torch in the end.
- Helen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Matthew (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, great site ,kids didn't want leave nor did we ,so relaxing HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
- Kate (8/5): Very good - Clean, comfortable and well equipped lodge on a dog friendly and quiet site and in a good location. Great communication from host too.
- Jon (10/5): Very nice short stay. - Very comfy and well equipped.
- Tish (9/5): Lovely, dog freindly lodge surrounded by trees. - This place is very dog friendly with dog blankets, treats and towels provided. All rules abotu the dog are very reasonable (not off lead in the local holiday park area, not left alone in the lodge etc). Many places state "dog friendly" or "dog welcome" on the listing but when you get to a place, and see the lost of dog rules (ie: dog must not leave the 4x4 lino patch we have assigned!) you realise the host does not know what friendly or welcome means! This was not the case here, which we loved. Place was clean and comfortable with good kitchen basics also. As such a dog friendly place, I think some info in the guest book on local dog walks (where dogs can get off lead) would have been super helpful.
