• Наталья (10/5): До отеля легко добраться с местро, это займет 15-20минут пешком. Столько же до центра. Хозяин окружает гостей заботой и - Удобное месторасположение, до центра 15 минут. В 3х минутах ходьбы фут зона. На соседней улице множество магазинчиков, небольших супермаркетов Чисто, номера просторные и уютные, есть чайник, чай, кофе. Завтрак просто великолепен: 5-6 видов сыров, мясная нарезка, овощи, фрукты, долма, печеные овощи, сладкое. На уровне 4 звездного отеля на побережьи Турции.

• Caliment Nicoleta (10/5): - I had a great stay at this hotel. It is honestly one of the cleanest places I have ever seen. We stayed for 3 nights, and every morning there was enough variety at breakfast, so we always found something to eat. The location is very good, close to public transport and main tourist areas. We mostly used Uber because it was cheap and everything was nearby, but the tram is also at a reasonable walking distance. You can easily reach many attractions on foot. The host is exceptional, very helpful and welcoming. I would definitely come back to this hotel. The area feels safe, and you can find restaurants, shops, and supermarkets close by, which makes everything very convenient.

Хозяин Адем говорит на русском, готов всегда помочь по любому вопросу. Рассказал где менять деньги, куда сходить поесть и что где посмотреть если приехали в первый раз. Завтраки обильные и вкусные, салаты, долма, сыры, колбасные нарезки, кексы, хлопья, оливки, лукум, орехи, булочки, яйца, овощи, фрукты. Уезжать не хотелось. Слышимость в номере, но кому это мешает, берите беруши.

• Lilianna (9/5): - Lokalizacja jest bardzo dobra, blisko do głównych atrakcji. Hotel jest w bocznej uliczce, więc w nocy jest dość cicho. Oczywiście, trzeba się nastawić na wzywanie do modlitw przez muezina nad ranem i w ciągu dnia, ale to normalne w muzułmańskim kraju. Śniadania w porządku. Właściciel bardzo życzliwy i pomocny. Możemy z czystym sercem polecić.

Parcarea de langa hotel este acoperita si accesibila ca si pret. Gazda hotelului, domnul Adem a fost foarte prietenoasa si ne-a oferit indicatii despre zona si despre drumul de plecare, cand plecati nu folositi GPS-ul, ascultati de indicatiile lui. Si un plus foarte mare, pentru romani, este si vorbitor de limba romana, ceea ce este de foarte mare ajutor. Cu siguranta este o locatie la care ma voi intoarce cand voi vizita Istanbulul. Nu exista nimic!
• Thomas (9/5): toller Urlaub mit super Gastgebern - Sehr Gastfreundliches Personal mit dem man sich austauschen kann und gute Tipps bekommt, alles ist sehr sehr sauber und ordentlich, Frühstück ist gut immer frisch, die Lage ist super nicht zu nah am Zentrum, dadurch gibt viele günstige Läden in der Nähe und man sieht wie die eigentliche Bevölkerung wohnt, Straßenbahn 10 min Fußweg, sehr sicher auch wenn es nicht den Eindruck macht da nebenan gleich eine Kirche von der Polizei Tag und Nacht geschützt wird alles gut soweit...es gab zwar keinen Latte oder Capuccino zum Frühstück aber wer leckeren Tee und Filterkaffee mag ist hier richtig...
• Naveed (10/5): The perfect hotel to stay! - We had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel in Turkey and can wholeheartedly recommend it. First of all, the cleanliness was outstanding. The hotel maintains an exceptionally high standard of hygiene throughout—everything was spotless at all times, from the rooms to the common areas. This immediately made us feel very comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming from the very first moment. We were greeted warmly upon arrival, and throughout our stay, help was always offered proactively in every situation. This level of attentiveness made us feel genuinely valued as guests. The location is also excellent. The hotel is very easy to find and conveniently situated, with train stations and local shops all within close proximity, making it ideal for exploring the area. A special mention goes to the owner, Adam, who is an exceptionally kind and helpful person. He supported us whenever needed and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was as pleasant as possible. We also really appreciated the hotel’s flexibility and care when it came to dietary needs. Two members of our family require gluten-free food, and after we mentioned this, the staff made sure to provide gluten-free bread at breakfast the very next morning. This level of thoughtfulness is not something you find everywhere and truly stood out to us. Speaking of breakfast—it was absolutely delicious. There was a wide variety of fresh Turkish specialties, all prepared with great care and presented in a very clean and hygienic manner. We would also like to highlight the lovely lady who prepared and served the breakfast every morning—she was incredibly kind, warm, and attentive, which made the experience even more enjoyable. • Михаил (10/5): - Ожидание/реальность оправдались. Номер чистый, все новое, отличная кровать с хорошим матрасом, ничего не скрепит. Напор воды сильный. Завтраки понравились, салатики очень вкусные. Улица тихая, только с утра муэдзин, провозглашает призыв к ежедневной молитвы с минарета, но это не напрягало. Хозяин приветливый и гостеприимный, знает русский и можно обратится с любым вопросом. Ближайшие остановки метро, автобусов, трамваев в пределах 15 минут ходьбы неспешным шагом. От аэропорта легко добраться на метро. Рядом улица с кафешками, столовыми, много магазинов оптовой и розничной торговли. Если приедем еще раз, то только в этот отель.

• Renáta (10/5): - This hotel is a little gem in Istanbul. All the sights are close by, the beds are comfortable, and the breakfast is plentiful and very tasty. The host is an exceptional person who will help you with anything you ask. If I could go back to Istanbul again, I would definitely not look for another place to stay! I would go when there is a room available at the Ramparts. Thank you very much for everything! It wasn't like that.

• Siena (9/5): beautiful stay in the heart of istanbul - staff were so incredibly friendly and helped with absolutely everything we needed. location was incredible, right next door to the Armenian Patriarchate which is open to the public to view. the location was awesome because it was the less touristy part of Fatih and there were authentic turkish food stores so close by! facilities were super clean! nothing!

• antonin (9/5): Super séjour, bon hotel, confortable et bien placé. - Le personnel était discret mais sympathique. La chambre était confortable et propre. L'hotel est bien situé, dans un quartier un peu hors des sentiers battus (loin du gros des touristes) mais à distance de marche de Sultanhamet. Le petit déjeuner était agréable. La salle de petit déjeuner est en sous sol, pas de lumière naturelle ni de vue, mais ce n'est pas grave!

Район, в котором расположен отель, может вызывать опасения (у нас, правда, опасения не оправдались).

• Suzana (10/5): - Lokacija je iz letališča lahko dosegljiva z javnim prevozom (s podzemno je potrebno 1x prestopiti). Od zadnje postaje je do nastanitve le nekaj minut hoje. Midve sva prispeli pozno zvečer zato se nama je na prvi pogled soseska zdela malo nevarna, a naju je kljub pozni uri sprejel nasmejan lastnik, ki naju je hitro pomiril in sva odšli na večerjo z boljšim občutkom. Soseska res ni nevarna, kot Izgleda na prvi pogled. Sobe so čiste, v njih je popolnoma vse kar potrebujete za udobno bivanje (grelec vode, kava, čaj, sušilec za lase, milo...). Postelje so udobne. Zajtrk je zelo okusen in vedno svež. Na izbiro je za vsakogar nekaj (siri, salame, namazi, zelenjava, sadje, mleko, kosmiči, jogurt, sok, kava, čaj...). Ne glede na uro, vedno je bilo vsega dovolj. Gostitelji so izjemno prijazni in ustrežljivi. Karkoli jih prosiš, v vsem strežejo z nasmehom na obrazom in zares polepšajo bivanje v mestu. Moji prijateljici pa so tudi polepšali rojstni dan s presenečenjem. Vsekakor se bom še vrnila v Istanbul in ta hotel.

• Elena (10/5): Foarte bine! - Hotel este în centrul vechi, renovat. Hotelul arată foarte bine, camere curate , cu tot confortul necesar, mic dejun bufet suedez, bun. Gazda foarte ospitalieră, a fost receptivă la cerințele noastre. Stie și limba română și ne-a fost un ghid excelent. Este puțin cam greu de ajuns cu mașina la hotel pe acele străduțe foarte înguste din centrul vechi.

• CHONG (10/5): - 酒店位于欧洲区老城，距离蓝色清真寺走路25分钟，距离T6轻轨kumkapi站走路五分钟，可以说位置非常好。酒店的早餐也还不错。虽然没有电梯，但是工作人员会主动帮忙提箱子。周边比较安静，晚上可以很好的休息。总之是老城区性价比很高的一家酒店，值得推荐！

• Bianca-Filiz Popa (9/5): Un hotel linistit pentru o vacanta de familie - Hotel confortabil, curat și ordonat. Camera a fost spațioasă, patul confortabil, prosoape, perne și pături albe și de înaltă calitate, aer conditionat functional. În a treia zi, camera a fost curățată și lenjeria de pat a fost schimbată. Duș spatios. Micul dejun nu este cel mai variat, insa ai destule optiuni din care poti alege. Gazda și personalul sunt amabili, ospitalieri si ne-au ajutat cu transportul aeroport-cazare si invers, cat si cu diferite informatii despre obiectivele turistice. Domnul Adem vorbeste foarrte bine limba romana, comunicarea cu dansul fiind foarte facila si placuta. Locatia nu este centrala, insa ai la dispozitie trenul (la 5 minute) care te lasa direct la statia Sirkeci (2 minute de port Eminonu) de unde poti explora intreg orasul. Per total, o locatie cu un raport/calitate pret foarte buna, pentru cine are nevoie de o locatie linistita unde sa se poata odihni si sa o ia de la capat a doua zi, in explorarea orasului.☺️ Nu am obiectii.

• Дмитрий0511 (10/5): Две недели в домашней обстановке - Жили в отеле почти две недели. Расположение отеля превосходное, вдали от шумных улиц, рядом остановка электрички на которой через две остановки можно оказаться на набережной Эменёню, в 10 минутах находится станция метро и остановка трамвая. В отеле всё понравилось и гостеприимство хозяев и завтраки и качество уборки. Очень выручало нас наличие сушильной машины. Адему огромное спасибо за терпение к моим постирушкам. Рядом с отелем находятся супермаркеты, возле них продают вкусную курицу гриль за 150 лир, недалеко есть лавка с вкусной чурчхелой и пахлавой и цены намного дешевле чем на базаре. И обязательно нужно попробовать горячий (остывший уже не то) Симит из кондитерской, которая тоже находится недалеко. Спасибо большое Адему, его семье и его команде за поздравление нашей дочери с 18 летием. Тортик был очень вкусный, но большой для нашего холодильника, поэтому пришлось на завтрак им делиться, был бы холодильник побольше, съели бы сами, очень вкусный. Нам всё понравилось, в следующий раз только к вам. Уже скучаем. Стамбул это любовь на всю жизнь. Единственный минус отеля это громкие соседи, люди почему то не понимают что они живут не одни, что после долгих прогулок хочется отдохнуть, а не слушать их оры.
• Игорь (10/5): - Про отель написанно в других отзывах. Могу лишь подтвердить, что действительно тихо, чисто и уютно. Рядом станция поезда. Две остановки в полупустом вагоне и вы возле главных достопримечательностей. Там же коммерческий паром до Принцевых островов. Стоит на копейки дороже гос парома, но идет на пол часа меньше. Рядом два супермаркета и столовая с недорогой едой(поищите на гугл) с хорошими отзывами. Если планируете отдых в этом раене, отднозначно рекомендую. Спасибо за отдых!

• Vilma (10/5): - Jaukus, švarus, tvarkingas viešbutukas. Kambarys buvo erdvus, lovos patogios, balti ir kokybiški rankšluosčiai, pagalvės, antklodės. Trečiąją viešnagės dieną buvo išvalytas kambarys ir pakeista patalynė. Patogus dušas. Pusryčiai visada vienodi, bet pasirinkimas gausus. Šeimininkas ir personalas paslaugūs, maloniai bendraujantys, su šeimininku susikalbėjome anglų ir rusų kalbomis. Viešbutis yra apie 30 minučių kelio pėsčiomis iki pagrindinių Stambulo lankytinų objektų. Automobilio parkingas, kuris buvo šalia viešbučio. Silpnai šaldė šaldytuvas.
• Otto (9/5): Great value for your money with hospitality - A very good and clean hotel with hospitality, the owner is especially helpful and kind. The room and bathroom is large enough to fell comfortable. The kettle with nescafee/tea was a bonus in there. The location is very good (however, not the nicest part of Istanbul), you can reach the historical sites on foot, but there are several public transportation possibilities nearby. The breakfast was very good with wide selection. There are several groceries nearby. A not street-front room might would have been better, the kids were noisy after midnight on the street.

The AC was small compared to the room capacity, therefore needing extra time for room cooling, especially during the day when it was quite hot. Adem was very helpful and made our stay very pleasant. AC should be upgraded. No lift.
• Erkki (10/5): Exceptional - Very good location, middle of the old town. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was good and had lot of choice. Rooms were big, clean and comfortable. Had free bottles of water and coffee. Had well working air conditioning, so the hot weather did not bother us.

• Erica (10/5): Our favourite place to stay in Istanbul - It's the second time we have stayed in Ramparts, and It's the only place I want to stay when we come next time. The hospitality is unbelievable. Adam, the manager is an asset, fantastic host, helpful, and knowledgeable. It's great to sit down and listen to him, and he has a great sense of humour. The hotel is spotless. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the breakfast lavish.
• Liz (9/5): Superb - Clean, well equipped room with good soundproofing in quiet location. A good, fresh Turkish breakfast. The owner was especially helpful, such as providing a socket adapter when I'd not got mine and helping to sort airport transfer when the driver didn't show up.

• Sup3rfly (10/5): Would book again! - Great place to stay and explore İstanbul, close to public transport links, cheap kebab places with great food and close to the touristic center as well - 15 min walking. Great host, provides a lot of info and a pleasure to talk to. He also held our baggages in the last day whilst we did some more exploring.

• Petya (10/5): Exceptional - Starting from our responsive and always helpful host Adem, the nice spacious rooms, the rich Turkish breakfast. It’s approximately 10 mins away from Grand bazar and restaurants. It’s really worth the money.

• Tim (8/5): A small hotel with friendly staff in a reasonable location near the main sights of Sultanahmet. - Friendly and professional staff. A renovated bathroom. Comfortable bed. No lift, although the hotel staff offered to carry my suitcase up the stairs

• Melanie (9/5): Ramparts Hotel is an oasis of cleanliness, quiet, and order in the madness of the city of Istambul - The location is typical for this part of Istanbul: you are close to attractions but it's an old part full of not so pretty and not so clean small streets. Breakfast excellent, with a selection of 'international', typical breakfast foods and lovely local foods, including salads, so a lot to choose from for everybody. It was probably the coldest time in a several years, with tempertures around or just above zero Celsius, so as much as they tried to keep the hotel waarm for the visitors, it was still cold in the bathroom, but it was a minor thing for people like us who are used to cold weather and understand that even in February in Istanbul it's not normal to have it that cold. I also understand that the hotel already had to face higher heating costs, not initially calculated into the price.

• Daria (10/5): Exceptional - The hotel is really splendid. It's situated on walking distance to the Sultan ahmed square,but if you run out of power, you can easily reach main sightseeings by tram#1 cause the station is near the hotel. Metro station is also not too far. Our room was on 3 floor (but for us it wasn't a problem), spacious and light. There was everything what any traveler needs: comfortable bed, well organised shower room with soft towels, fridge and even kettle with cups and tea. Breakfasts were quite good: several types of cheese, ham, bread, vegetables, salads. Cleanness of the hotel gladdened our hearts. But the main advantage of the hotel is its personnel, especially Adem. He helped us with transfer from/to airport, answered all our questions, gave a lot of useful advices. Customer care is really his priority! Definitely recommend this hotel! Nothing

• Lucian (10/5): Nice family owned hotel - Very clean and comfortable hotel, close to main objectives in Sultanahmet (Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Cistern Basilica, Grand Bazar, Egyptian Bazar, Galata Bridge). Good and plenty breakfast included (home made salads; the eggplant salad was our favorite), very friendly personnale, Mr. Adem (the owner), always ready to help on any matter, speaks English, Romanian and Russian. Even some parts of the neighborhoods looks a little bit unsecure after sunset, actually is safe even if you came back late to the hotel. I strongly recommend this accomodation. Nothing to complain.
• Elés (10/5): Exceptional - The hotel is close to the metro station and to the T6 tram line, so it's easy to be reached by public transport. Adem, the host is really helpful, kind, and flexible, our plane got delayed, but we could still check in late at night. He is well-prepared, we could even top up our Istanbulkart at the reception. We had quite a few choices for breakfast every day and all of them were perfect, some of them traditional Turkish, and some of them more international (like cereals). We even asked for the recipe for a meal, which we got in great detail. Our room was nice and clean, we got some snacks and bottled water for free when we arrived, which is really thoughtful considering that we should not drink tap water. The bed was comfortable, it felt so good to relax after the flight or the long walks in the city. We had to check out early in the morning to catch our plane back, but it was no problem.
• Nusrat (10/5): Excellent boutique hotel with attentive owner - Adam, the owner, made us feel very welcome. He made every effort to make our stay comfortable. When we arrived, the air conditioning appeared not to be working on full power. Although it did cool the room , Adam had the service engineer out to fix it. The beds were very comfortable. The neighbourhood is very safe and not far from T6 Kumkapi Tram station. The breakfast is a traditional Turkish breakfast and is very good quality. What can I say other than it felt very homely and was excellent value for money. There are added facilities that we were allowed to use, like the washing machine and iron. It's a quiet neighbourhood at night, no disturbance. Overall, it was a great stay and would recommend to others
