• Roy (10/5): - Great value for money. Very clean and fully equipped house. We greatly enjoyed the sea view, having a drink on the roof, especially at sunset after a long hike! Checking in and out was a breeze and the host was very responsive and helpful.

• Serhii (6/5): - The host is very kind and responds to messages very quickly. There were no towels provided for all 4 guests. Only 3 small towels for hands were provided for us. We messaged about this to the host, and in 30 minutes, 2 women arrived and gave us the 4 towels we needed. In addition to this, there is not enough space for 4. 3 people are the maximum number of people for comfortable stay there. In our case additional bed frame and mattress were provided, but it was impossible to sleep there because the mattress was twice the size of the bed and kept falling off. Also, this new bed took up all the space in the room, making it impossible to get in and out of the closet. Finally, there were no beddings provided for 2 people. We needed to look out for them in all possible locations in the apartments. At the end, we found only one piece of bedding just to cover the bed itself. The blankets were not tucked into the duvet cover in each of the rooms.

• Ludivine (7/5): Bon rapport qualité / prix et emplacement intéressant - Jolie petite maison dans le bas de Funchal, proche du front de mer (attention : rue très (très) pentue ! La maison est spacieuse, relativement bien équipée, propre, et la literie est de bonne qualité. Le lit double grince énormément.
• Yuliia (8/5): - We stayed in this house during the first half of March 2025. The house matches the photos provided. A very pleasant and attentive host. Easy check-in. The house was a bit humid, so we requested a heater and a floor drying rack for clothes. The host delivered everything the next day, for which we were very grateful. Overall, the host responded to all requests, including personal ones (for example, how and where to rent a car with a debit card). It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the city center (downhill). From the center, we often took the bus — approximately 5–7 minutes (we found four different bus options that could take us to the house). The house is equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay. The internet worked well. It was nice that the terrace had furniture (chairs and a small sofa), allowing us to spend time outdoors. There is a café nearby offering coffee, desserts, and sandwiches. Next to the café, there is also a small grocery store. We had a great experience and highly recommend this place for a stay! -
• Amadeusz Zet (5/5): - Lokalizacja bardzo przystępna. Blisko piekarnia, do centrum też nie za daleko. Ładna czysta okolica. Dom z zewnątrz też bardzo ładny. Skrzypiące łóżko, każdy ruch na nim to pobudka przez to, że niesamowicie skrzypiało. Wyposażenia kuchni trochę małe i bardzo przestarzałe. Ładny taras na dachu ale niestety źle zagospodarowany. Dużo do poprawy.
• Dana Jovanovska (1/5): ANTS INVASION of the house. The owner knew that ants appeared before! - 1. Free parking in the street 2. Apartment is spacious enough for 3 people. If 4th person present, they would have to sleep on a floor mattress that is pulled under the single bed in the very tiny room. 3. Good communication with owner, only until the problems appeared. Then, he turned vindictive. 4. Nice rooftop terrace with lounge chairs. 1. When we entered the house, there were ants here and there. As the days went by, the ants invaded the whole house. They were everywhere - on kitchen walls, floors, countertop, even around and inside the fridge!!; in the living room entering below the entrance door; on the bathroom walls and floors, on the towels, on our toothbrushes even!!!...(see photos below) Besides feeling dicusted by their presence, we had to throw away so much food. We had to do daily tricks to stop them, such as spraying salt or insect spray or killing them. When I reached out to the owner, he admitted he knew ants appeared. He didn't offer neither a solution to the problem, nor a compensation, only an apology! To my even greater shock, he even asked to charge me an extra fee for making the apartment 'dirty by spraying salt', shamelessly lying that we have sprayed sugar. 2. The apartment is located very far from the center and uphill, so it is impossible to walk to the city center. There is literally no market, nor restaurant nearby. 3. Everything in the house is a mere improvisation. All the sleeping pillows were random, old, and extremely uncomfortable. There are no proper duvets, but again, some random and old covers and tiny blankets. Most of the furniture is old. There is literally no place to hang clothes - there is a whole empty closet in the single bedroom with no hangers nor shelves - a totally pointless closet that just occupies space. 4. Even though it seemed clean, we found hairs on the bed sheets in both of the beds. 5. Water constantly dripped from the security valve of the boiler. To this, the owner responded,'it is normal', which we disagree with, and therefore, we had to constantly turn it off whenever out or asleep for safety reasons. 6. The apartment lacks basics such as coffee, tea, sugar, oil, soap, shampoo, body wash...

• Andrea (9/5): - Cozy typical Madeira house close to the city center. large indoor and outdoor space. Complete furniture. lock to the bathroom door. An oven would be great! Why don't add a table and some seats on the terrace? It is gorgeous! The house is on a sloping road (like all Madeira streets) so be careful when parking!
