Guest Reviews
- Walter (10/5): - A little out of the way if you don’t have a vehicle. We ride shared to town. Owner was very accommodating. They want you stay to be 111%
- Debra (10/5): - Beautiful Inn. Bed was very comfortable. Loved the quietness
- Kelly (10/5): - If you like friendly folks, antiques, and a quiet relaxing older home, you’ll love. Tanglewood Inn.
- Jim (10/5): Too brief, even after extending to a third day. Would like to return and see owners' progress. - At first al little hard to find, but location proved wonderful in relation to reaching the city and the surrounding area. Other than that, I liked everything, down to the last detail. See above.
- Cassidy (10/5): - We loved our stay!
- Leslie (10/5): - Wonderful host and beautiful home- lots of gorgeous antiques- very nostalgic!
- Niki (10/5): - A well kept and beautiful property. The rooms are well kept
- Lashlee (10/5): Exceptional - Our stay at the Tanglewood Inn was nothing short of magical! This newly renovated bed and breakfast takes you on a journey back in time from the moment you step inside. The decor and furnishings have been carefully chosen to reflect a bygone era of American history, creating a warm, nostalgic atmosphere that’s hard to find these days.
From the seamless check-in to the gracious hospitality of the innkeeper, every part of our stay was exceptional.
The location is a quick trip 7 minute trip downtown. We arrived to Tanglewood late on Friday night with dinner reservations down town. We were able to check in, get changed and get to our 8 o’clock reservations at The Lazy Goat.
Our room was grand in size, with two cozy sitting areas, a spacious bathroom, and even a small kitchenette—a perfect setup for a comfortable, extended stay.
On our floor, there was a shared sitting area filled with beautifully detailed relics, adding to the historical charm that runs throughout the inn. We also loved the outdoor patio, which was ideal for sipping coffee in the morning and enjoying the peaceful surroundings.
As we write this review, there’s still a bit of construction on the exterior. It’s evident she has grand plans for the entrance of the tanglewood inn complete with brick entrances and maybe even a fountain. Once the exterior reflects the historic charm inside, this place will be a true gem in the area.
Staying at Tanglewood Inn was such a delight, and we’re thrilled we got to experience it so early on. It’s full of charm and truly a must-stay if you’re in Greenville. We can’t wait to come back!
