• Andrew (10/5): So wonderful in a very busy schedule. We will return. - Everything about Almond Cottage is a sheer delight. Facilities were second to none with lovely linen and products. The jewel in the crown is quite possibly the garden and pool area which was private for our use. We wish we had stayed longer so that we could have a braai. Sitting having breakfast at the garden table watching the birds and hearing the almonds falling off the tree, was something very special. Absolutely nothing, other than we had to leave!
• Lucy (10/5): Idyllic, relaxing and beautiful stay. - The outside space was fabulous with the pool and seating areas. AMAZING bathroom and really comfortable bed! We had total privacy too which was lovely. Ina had thought of everything!! ( Toiletries were divine too!) Nothing. ALL AWESOME!

• Helmut (9/5): Kleines Cottage mit herrlichem Pool und Wohlfühlcharakter - Sehr freundlicher persönlicher Empfang und Verabschiedung. Das kleine Cottage ist sehr durchdacht und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sofort sehr wohlgefühlt. Es verfügt über keine Küchenzeile. Geschirr, Besteck etc. sowie eine Mikrowelle sind aber vorhanden; den Abwasch hat Ina für uns übernommen. Sie hat uns netterweise ihren Eierkocher zur Verfügung gestellt, damit wir nicht auf unsere Frühstückseier verzichten mussten. Somit hatten wir alles, was wir brauchten. Es gibt im wunderschönen kleinen Garten zwei herrliche Sitzplätze und Liegestühle. Der eigene Pool ist ein Traum! Ein Grillplatz vor dem Cottage und ein Ofen im Vorraum stehen auch bereit. Es hat uns also an nichts gefehlt. Wir werden wiederkommen!

The room and outside area was amazing, with in total three seating areas: an enclosable stoep area, around a fire pit and undercover bench at the braai. The private and own use swimming pool was great. All amenities we're included and of high quality. Aircon and large comfortable bed. We'll definitely revisit and can 100% recommend this accommodation.

• Colleen (10/5): What a Gem! - The host Ina Kellerman is an absolute Angel. She constantly checks that you are comfortable without intruding on your privacy. This place was an real gem with all the comforts you need for your stay. So private and even your own pool and outside dining area, firepit and braai area. Lovely location. We stayed here for 6 nights and really dreaded leaving. Highly, highly recommend the Almond Cottage to anyone for an outstanding breakaway. We most definitely will be back. Thank you so much Ina. Refreshments were on point,even a stocked espresso machine.The host did not skimp on quality and provided the best for her guests.The entire set-up from the pool to the deck was very picturesque and relaxing. This is the perfect mini getaway for a couple.

Even though on same property as owners, The setting is intimate and completely seperate. So many little touches that make the whole stay so special. Incredible modern bathroom. Nespresso machine with fresh milk in the fridge. A bowl of fruit and choccies. The MOST comfortable bed. I think I had the best sleep of the last 6 months. I can go on.....but enough said. I liked it ALL

• Bruce (10/5): Exceptional - Here goes a very long overdue review. We spent a weekend in Riebeek-Kasteel at Almond Cottage and absolutely loved our stay. The Host went out of her way to ensure a comfortable stay. She even set out a plate of snacks upon request as it was our anniversary. They respected our privacy and communicated via WhatsApp to ensure that we have everything we need. The cottage was clean with aesthetically pleasing finishes. We also enjoyed the aircon and the fan when we were not out and about as it was a hot weekend. We also enjoyed the small fireplace during the evenings. This is a perfect getaway for couples. We will gladly revisit Almond Cottage when we explore more of the area. 12/10!! Superb Experience Nothing could have been improved.

• David (10/5): Hidden gem in Riebeek-Kasteel.. - Friendly, helpful and considerate hosts.Ina and hubby are the best! Well catered accommodation that answered our every wish and need. Great braai and pool facilities. Top notch facilities all round including the room and bathroom. Everything provided ensured relaxation. The room was a bit small and there was no kitchen but the positives more than made up for it and these didn't concern us really.
• Dominic (9/5): Excellent, with an amazing and attentive host. Will certainly be back. - Clean, neat, modern, nice touches like stocked with milk, tea, coffee and rusks. Sole use of pristine fair-sized swimming pool. Air con and ceiling fan provided as the area is renowned for being exceptionally hot in summer. Would be great to have block-out / curtains over the blinds as the sun comes streaming into the bedroom in the early morning. It makes having a lazy morning in bed a bit tricky.

Wouldn't change a thing
