- Angelica (6/5): hotel trascurato ma vivibile - hotel accettabile, la zona è molto bella, piena di locali, negozi, ristoranti e con un grande parco a 5 minuti a piedi. facilmente collegata con metro e treni di qualsiasi tipo in quanto si è a 2 minuti a piedi dalla Ueno station. lo staff è stato molto cordiale e disponibile. era presenta anche una piccola aere in cui era possibile prendere gratuitamente alcune bevande e piccoli dolcetti per errore ho prenotato una camera fumatori quindi ovviamente c'era puzza di fumo però questo è stato un mio errore. la camera, come la struttura in generale, era molto vecchia, con arredi vecchio stile un po' trascurati, c'era solo un punto di attacco alla presa della corrente lontano dal letto. il bagno molto vecchio, con plastica ingiallita, segni di usura e ruggine/muffa sotto alla vasca.

- Hamada (9/5): - 周辺の歓楽街の雰囲気は、若干女性1人での利用に不安もありましたが、館内は、古くとも非常に清潔で、掃除が行き届いている印象を強く受けました。大浴場もリファのシャワーヘッドなど充実しており、とても快適に過ごせました。スタッフも心がこもった笑顔と声掛けで、午前中からの荷物の預かりにも快く応じてくださり非常に助かりました。

- Karen (8/5): Great hotel. - Excellent location. Very central to Ueno Station, shops & market. Staff were very friendly & the room size was really, really good for a budget Japanese hotel. The beds were like laying on concrete so didn’t sleep much. There is also a big step up into the bathroom & shower. I have bad arthritis so had to take my time getting into the shower but I did manage.

I was also surprised that there is a public bath in the basement, in case you enjoy that. Honestly there isn't much to complain about, the building itself looks a little old and the corridors a bit empty but the upsides are clearly worth it.

I accidentally booked a smoking room so I did not enjoy having the smell of smoke in my room. It also took me a very long time to figure out how to close the window that was wide open upon arrival. My room was cold the whole time as there was no heating. I ordered the breakfast but there wasn’t much I wanted to eat on the tray. I don’t recommend. Lastly, the water sounds of the toilet were incredibly loud and I could not figure out how to turn it off or down.

This place has everything you need, a perfect location, easy transport, and plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. One of my favorite features is the public bath. Although it is quite small, it’s rarely crowded. I often found it empty during the late night or early morning hours, which was very relaxing. Most importantly, the staff are wonderful, they are incredibly kind, lovely, and always helpful. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a clean, safe, and convenient stay.

- CHIKA (3/5): 安いから仕方ない、とも言い切りたくない。 - 駅から近く利便性は良い。 私が間違って喫煙可のお部屋を予約してしまったのがいけなかった点ではありますが、部屋に入った途端、タバコの匂いが充満していました。窓も開けられず、困り果て、フロントに連絡。部屋にきてくださったスタッフさんも、匂いが酷すぎることには驚いた様子でした。空気清浄機を貸してもらったり、部屋の換気をしてくださったりというスタッフの対応は評価できますが、あの匂いには閉口しました。 帰宅して荷解きしたら、タバコの匂いが衣類から漂うほどでした。 残念な宿でした。

- 曜子 (8/5): 昭和の空気感が落ち着いた時間をくれました - 何度か利用しています。スタッフさんの言葉遣いや対応に不快感がなく気持ちよく過ごせています。またお風呂がいいですね。湯船のサイズ的にもリラックス出来るし湯温が最適です。ロビーの飲み物も自由ですし種類もあって嬉しいです。全体的に古いですが、掃除がきっちりされています。 強いて言えば枕の高さが選べたら。高い枕は首が疲れて寝れません。

The on-site onsen was wonderful as well Very small rooms, rooms appear quite old and worn out, in desperate need of a refurbishment.
