• Erin (7/5): Budget friendly and walking distance to Royal Palace and Plaza Mayor - Location, staff was friendly ( they spoke Spanish, but we did translate our conversations) , price, they let us leave our bags before checking in so we didn’t have to carry them around. Breakfast could have been better.

Llamamos por teléfono y llegó alguien que no tenia llaves ni nos informaba de nada. nos llevó a una habitación sin baño, aunque sí habíamos pagado una doble con baño y tuvimos que esperar a que nos cambiara. Jamas encontramos el desayuno, aunque estaba incluido...

La habitación es algo fría y no es la misma que la foto que alquilé, en la cual se veía luz por una ventana y las camas estaban una al lado de la otra. La que me dieron no se parecía. El tema del baño tampoco quedó claro en la reserva que no disponía de baño privado. Ponía baño a disposición en la habitación seleccionada.

Hice la reserva y me dio la opción de pago presencial, cuando llegara al hotel. Cuando llegué no se evidenciaba mi reserva pero muy amablemente resolvió y me dio hospedaje, muy buen servicio y respuesta, gracias!

• Ace (8/5): Nice room but single bathroom for up to 8 people - The personal is very nice. The area is nice and for the most part quiet. The room was clean and provided enough space for a short or even long stay. The residents are not allowed to use the kitchen, but a fridge, microwave, and an airfryer are available in the dining hall. One bathroom (toilet + shower) is shared among 5 rooms (up to 8 people). The air conditioning is controlled centrally, which was quite cold for my taste. I aired out the room during a warm day, which resolved the issue for me for the next 2 days. It was quite loud outside around 2am at night, when the garbage truck and the street cleaning car worked on the street outside my window.

• Kristine (5/5): Not too bad for a short stay - It appeared to be a student dormitory with rooms being rented out in summer. The bathroom was in the corridor (but fortunately close to my room door and most of the time I was the only one to ever use it). The shower stalls and their doors were very narrow, luckily a disabled bathroom with sufficient shower space was available. The location is easy to reach, between two metro stations (with suitcases, choose to go downhill on arrival from San Bernardo, when leaving to Noviciado). The rooms are a sort flight of stairs up from the entrance hall. The man meeting me was very very kind and helpful (but appeared to be kitchen help as no one else was there). Unfortunately the eggs at breakfast were lukewarm at best, and the juice already started fermenting in the container. On the remaining days I had my breakfast in a cafeteria.

• Esteve (9/5): Relació qualitat-preu més que acceptable, repetiré. - Habitacions molt amples i tot molt net, els treballadors força cordials, repetiria sense dubte. L'única cosa, les dutxes compartides són molt estretes però compleixen el servei que han de donar.

• Rosanna (7/5): Decent stop over - Breakfast included and gluten free options provided. The man that let us in was super friendly and we communicated well enough using a translate app. Lots of space to hang up clothes, and we had a door to a shared balcony. Three showers are in one lockable bathroom, but each shower has no space for clothes/towels etc. so if one was to dry off or get dressed you’d need to either lock the door (and limit others access to the showers) or do it in the public space. Having a dry space or even hooks in the shower may be useful. The beds/pillows weren’t very comfortable but it’s overall a decent hostel.

The air conditioning was central, so it was quite cold in the room and the air con holes were right on top of the bed causing a draft. No possibility to move the bed in the tiny room which was otherwise enough for my purposes. I also couldn't find anyone to leave the key to checking out and they did not reply to my messages. Overall I was happy but got a cough
• Nick (5/5): - They let us access our room early. Two interconnected rooms which was good to be separate from the kids. Poor signage. Nothing to indicate where to go or who to speak to or where the hostel is within the building. We waited for someone who was leaving the front door to get inside and then asked around. Breakfast included but we weren't informed about hours of the breakfast so we did not end up having breakfast there as we were leaving before weekend breakfast hours. I wouldn't choose the breakfast. The cleaning staff were helpful and without them I am not sure what we would have done to get access to a room. It was very affordable and basic. Happy enough with our stay.
