• Gupta (5/5): Beautiful property but comes with a lot of problems... - The apartment itself is beautiful. Lovely architecture and you can see that the host has really spent a lot of time curating the interior. The main bedroom is beautifully done and very spacious. I liked the fact that there were two bathrooms, equipped for both shower and a toilet. Don't know if the property is being managed by any agency, because the cleanliness and facilities were really bad at the place. There was dust all around. The rugs felt and looked dirty, there was accumulated dirt beneath counters and sofas, as if it hadn't been cleaned in years. The sofa and bedsheet covers also felt dirty. The electric kettle was unusable because it was so dirty from the inside. So was the hair dryer (I am attaching photos for reference). There were no shampoo, soaps, conditioner or anything else for that matter in the bathroom as facilities. No kitchen towel to clean once you cook or use the kitchen. No coffee machine either. Coffee machine is such a common facility to provide (especially being in EU). Another big problem for me was the shower in their main bathroom (I didn't try the other smaller one) - the water hardly comes from the hand shower. You can clearly see that it leaks and yet the mangement agency has not bothered to get it fixed. The shower took so much time due to this. The temperature of the water also kept getting cold as the shower progressed and a slight change in the setting would set it to boiling hot. Also, the apartment is on the 2nd floor and there is no lift (elevator). Although I admit that is my bad as I didn't check whether the listing showed elevator. If you are carrying heavy luggage, think twice before booking this. It's a shame that for such a beautiful property, these things are letting it down. If the host is reading this review, I would urge them to change their management agency and hire someone professional.

• Lisa (10/5): Beautiful apartment in Budapest - The apartment is beautiful! Absolutely loved the interior decor, and so spacious! Convenient location right next to the train station. Kitchen has everything you need Could have more toilet paper in the house, need to climb to the 3rd storey.
• Nina (10/5): Exceptional - The location is fantastic, just next to the Keleti station, lots of metros and buses. The house itself is old and has its charm; the apartment is large and very comfortable. One bed is firm, which I liked a lot, the other much softer. Two bathrooms is great to have, practical when travelling with family. The living room is pleasant to hang out in. We were happy with everything! The two flights of stairs might be a lot for older people or if travelling with a kids pram.
