• Michel (7/5): Condo super mais il commence à manquer un peu d'entretien. - Grandeur du condo et emplacement. Propreté des lieux (le ménage n'était pas complété à notre arrivée) et le service. J'ai eu 2 problèmes. Un avec l'eau qui s'Accumulait sur le balcon, au risque d'inonder l'appartement. J'ai essayé de contacter celui qui nous a accueilli en vain. J'ai dû trouvé moi-même le drain et le débloquer pour éviter des dégâts. Ensuite, le chauffage/climatisation ne fonctionnait pas. Encore une fois, aucune réponse de celiu qui nous a accueilli et j'ai finalement trouvé le problème (disjoncteur fermé).

• Anne (8/5): A very comfortable and relaxing stay. - The property was lovely and spacious and the beds were comfortable. The hosts were easy to contact and very helpful. Nothing. The only slight issues were use of the Higueron hotel facilities (we could use the pool but not the sunbeds as the hotel was full) and use of other facilities was quite expensive. In any event we preferred the pool at the apartments (much quieter) and we had a fun game of padel nevertheless. We didn’t try the bus down the hill as we had a car. It’s hard work walking up the hill from the beach in the heat so some kind of transportation is advisable even for the fit. We found the Carvajal beach (at the bottom of the hill) to be the best that we visited in the area.
• Maxime (1/5): Extreme noise, rude host Emma, and misleading listing. DO NOT BOOK this apartment - We stayed in this apartment for 9 days this summer with our family, including my disabled father and our 9 month old baby. We specifically chose this place because it was advertised as wheelchair accessible and had a large terrace where my father could spend time during the day. What is not mentioned anywhere in the listing is that the apartment is located in a brand new neighborhood where heavy construction is ongoing all around. On day 3, extreme renovation work started directly above our apartment starting at 8:00 AM every morning and continuing until 3:00 PM. Drilling, hammering, and constant noise made it impossible to rest or even stay indoors. The construction workers told us it would continue for at least two more weeks. Our peace and privacy were completely destroyed. When we contacted our host Emma representing CALASOL for a solution, we were treated with complete disrespect and zero empathy. Instead of offering real help, she coldly told us to either contact Booking.com ourselves to try and find something else (which was impossible during high season, especially with a disabled person and a baby), or accept €200 compensation total for a stay that cost €350 per night. Outrageous. This entire situation is completely unacceptable, not just because of the unbearable noise, but especially due to the host’s rude and indifferent attitude. No responsibility, no willingness to help, just pushing the problem back on us. Avoid this apartment at all costs if you’re looking for rest, traveling with children or someone with special needs, or simply expect to be treated with basic respect as a guest. This was a holiday we won’t soon forget, for all the wrong reasons. Can not upload any video's on here of the noise in the appartement above us. I do have some screenshots with the assistent host wendy ( not Emma ).
• H (10/5): Relaxing Stay in Higueron - Our family of four stayed in Higuerón for two nights in early May and had a fantastic time. One day, we explored Marbella and then returned for a relaxing afternoon at the apartment. We grilled and made great use of the outdoor pool just a few steps away. The kids also enjoyed swimming at the Higuerón Resort, which added to the experience. The apartment itself was spacious, well maintained, and the beds were comfortable. We especially enjoyed having breakfast outside on the terrace, listening to the birds sing. We also walked down to the beach and had dinner at Mia’s Pizzorante, which we’d definitely recommend. The taxi ride back up the hill was affordable at €6.
