Guest Reviews
- Greg (10/5): Fantastic quiet Island getaway in a great part of Key Caulker. - Great place to stay in a great part of Key Caulker. The Seremei Villas is located in a quiet part of the island. Restaurants and shops are all within walking distance. The staff is very helpful and the place is kept in top condition. Highly recommended. The pool could be deeper. Other than that I have no complaints.
- Carl (9/5): -

- Sofia (5/5): - Tilava huone ja keittiö. Huoneeseen ei tullut vettä. Emme voineet käydä suihkussa tai vetää edes vessaa. Jouduimme täyttämään itse vessan tankin juomavedellä. Henkilökunta ei kertonut tästä etukäteen. Sama ongelma oli kaikissa yläkerran huoneissa. Vaihdoimme kolmen yön jälkeen toiseen hotelliin.
- victoria (10/5): Perfect!! - Everything!! It’s a gorgeous little apartment/hotel, the room had everything we needed and everything was super clean and everyone was so friendly. The pool was a lovely added bonus, it’s a tiny bit further out but we hired bikes and preferred being somewhere quieter (still easily walkable to everywhere and restaurants just not in centre strip). The owner is lovely and so helpful, they also do yoga some mornings on the rooftop. Nothing
- Anil (10/5): Modern hotel with pool - Nice modern hotel that is very clean. Rooms are a good size with kitchette and fridge. Swimming pool was great. Walking distance to many restaurants. Family run business with professional staff.

- Ellen (9/5): - Clean, good location, great to have a kitchen in the room. The water took a long time to heat up in the shower. Other than that, all good!
- Carlos (10/5): Beautiful clean rooms, good location, very peaceful to rest even during the day and the staff is 😊 - Everything was awesome 👏🏻 The fact that I can't stay more 😪
- Gary (8/5): Very relaxing stay in a very nice place. - Well kept, clean and great location. Staff was wonderful. Low water pressure.
- Darryl (9/5): - The staff were great! No issues The water pressure in the shower was a little low and the bed was a bit hard for our liking but this would not stop us from staying here again. We really enjoyed our stay.
- Gina (8/5): The most beautiful family runs this place, they were helpful, knowledgeable and lovely! I will return just because of th - This property was nice and clean and the pool was an added bonus I stayed in the older building and my mattress was not so comfy, my daughter stayed in the newer side and her bed was great
- Stephen (8/5): - It had a pool so if I don't want to go out door and can swim indoor For me the water pressure was low and for my girlfriend she likes big mirror or i should say full body mirror.
- Caruso (9/5): Enjoyed Seremei Villas - Great property South of the hustle n bustle in Caye Caulker. Starlee was the property manager gave lots of recommendations and answered all our questions.
- Linda (9/5): Good value - Beautiful facility, staff very friendly and helpful Nothing
- Kate (5/5): OK - Very spacious room and the staff were wonderfully responsive and helpful and let me used the washing machine which was much needed after months of travel. The property just felt unloved and really didn't live up to the pictures. Nothing really on the roof top except a chair. The room was noisy as it's on a main thoroughfare and the noise of quad bikes going past was quite irritating, I slept with ear plugs. Other rooms wouldn't necessary have this problem if they were in the courtyard around the pool. The room felt a little unloved too, leaking toilet, broken lamp and toaster. They fixed all of these problems quickly but just a sign I guess.
- Greg (10/5): Very idyllic place with a pool and restaurant. - Fantastic location, clean room great staff, Nothing.
- Elliott (10/5): Great stay. - Very clean and quiet.

- Karen (10/5): - If you want to have a wonderful, clean, comfortable vacation this is where to stay!! Family owned and operated, great food and company, I simply can't say enough great things about staying here. Star and her family know how to get you whatever you want or need!! Nothing really!! A little off the beaten path but...so serene!

- Janice (10/5): We were apprehensive as this was our first time here, but that staff made it so easy. - It was so very clean! The staff were super helpful. The pool was well maintained. It was a great value.
They had a beautiful balcony and the kitchen was well appointed with all you might need. I have food allergies so that is a must. N/ À
- Gloria (10/5): Amazing 😍🤩 - The pool, the staff hospitality and the size of the place. Location. It was too far away from everything.
- Nardie (10/5): Love it - My mother enjoyed her stay with you guys.
- Barbara (8/5): Very good - We really enjoyed staying at Seremei Villas. The location is quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist area, but with bikes it’s only 5-10 minutes away. We ate breakfast at their restaurant most mornings because the food was excellent and it was convenient. The pool was refreshing and a nice way to cool off. Cece and Starlie were wonderful and kind. They were a great resource for things to explore on the island such as restaurants and beaches. On Cece’s recommendation, we went on a half day snorkeling excursion with Anwar Dive Shop and they did not disappoint! The rest of the staff were very pleasant and friendly.
- Rachel (10/5): Great place to stay.away from the crowds but easy walking distance to everything - Amazing staff. Room was great. Very large and very comfortable. The mirror in the bathroom should be installed and there was not a soap holder in the shower.
- Sally (10/5): Relaxing. A wonderful stay. - Family owned and operated. Friendly staff. They went the extra mile to help us, booked a tour, taxis, a shuttle and answered questions. Comfortable and clean. Everything was with walking distance. They have an in house kitchen so we ate most of our breakfasts here. We loved being at Seremei Villas. Nothing.
- Stacey (8/5): Lovely place to stay, you won’t be disappointed - The property was very clean; well kept and nice and quiet.
We loved the space and having an on site bar/restaurant was lovely! Some people may not like that it’s on the south end of town but we prefer that and don’t mind walking.
We were asked by an employee to give a service fee in cash which we had already paid on booking, I declined this even though pressed. I expressed this request to the owner and she seemed genuinely surprised and stated she was glad we didn’t pay it
- Julie (10/5): Great stay, loved the island and the locals. - The location requires bike rentals but we really enjoyed riding around Caye Caulker. Great breakfast at the restaurant on site. I recommend the Belizian breakfast with the Fye Jacks. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Lighting in the bathroom :)
- Renato (9/5): Superb -
- Monika (9/5): Superb - Our stay was good. really big rooms with anything you need. reception, kind stuff. also private parking :) breakfast was all the time the same, and the stuff during breakfast dont speak english.
- Dawson (8/5): Would Book Again - The staff was friendly and helpful!
The pool was clean and comfortable.
Clean bathroom that's spacious.
Decent size bed for a couple, perfect for one person.
TV has cable if you want to stay in, but we opted to bring our own firestick.
Decent set of cutlery and dishes to eat with.
There is no stove top or toaster oven, so no cooking, but there is a microwave, coffee pot, and mini fridge. The screen on one of the windows wasn't hooked properly. It looked like the hook had been broken at some point. There's mosquitos coil and bug spray to help, but it's still pretty bad. It's totally fixable, so hopefully, that gets taken care of.
Loudness of other occupants in the pool at night made it hard to sleep until they left. I'm pretty sure the pool rules said 6am to10pm. They left around midnight. Not the owners fault, just poor guest etiquette, I guess.
8/10 experience would book again, but maybe in a different room, not poolside.
- Peter (7/5): Good but watch out for the extra charge on arrival! - Good pool to cool off, quiet area, free water and coffee in the room and air-conditioning was great. Free use of bikes. Could do with blackout curtains, a little distance from the split but not too bad if you cycle. They charged us some sort of room tax on arrival of $140 belize dollars which wasn't included or mentioned on booking.com! Probably wouldn't of booked if we had known! Shower pressure isn't great.
- Raphaela (9/5): Great staff, good accommodation, not in touristic center. - The pictures don’t do it justice! Especially the rooms are very spacious, very clean and huge! I had booked a room, not knowing specifics and was pleasantly surprised to find out I had a kitchen and a big bathroom attached. The staff on property is amazing. They are so friendly, so helpful, very responsive. I would definitely recommend to stay here! It is a bit further from the touristic areas that I imagined. I was offered a bike for free to use on the island.
Also it can get quite noisy as the bed is right next to hallway. I have heard some relationship fights and make-ups during my stay.
- Ramona (10/5): Exceptional - Super nice owners, they help you with everything. Rooms are big and beds are comfortable. Water pressure in the shower could be better but I think that is an island thing :)
- Baker (8/5): Enjoyable - Great location, the staff were very friendly.
- Joan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joeanne (9/5): Superb -
- Lembit (10/5): Great place to stay, out of the noisy town yet so close to walk into town. - Exceptionally clean, comfortable and quiet. Very well equiped with tea/coffee facilities and cooking if desired. Lovely large room with comforts. Just a small stroll into town. Highly recommend a stay here. The mattress was a little soft and perhaps could do with replacement also cotton sheets would be preferable, but otherwise.the cleanest hotel we’ve stayed in, in Latin America.
- Cam (6/5): Bottom line - this is a decent establishment with a lot of potential. A little updating could go a l - First, the positives. Seremei's location is very pleasant and secluded, if that's what you're interested in, without being far at all from restaurants, shops, etc. It is lushly green and treed, and the buildings are quite attractive as well. The pool is a nice size and temperature, and the grounds are well-maintained. The room we rented was quite spacious and well-lit, and some of the amenities (fridge, stovetop, sink) came in handy. Of course, the staff was friendly and good with recommendations for local places to visit/eat at on Caye Caulker. However, for all the nice aspects of Seremei, there are some definite downsides as well:
-In our room at least, the mattress was lumpy and quite uncomfortably. My partner has back problems which the mattress exacerbated during our stay
-Although it may not have been the villa's fault, the toilet did not work for the majority of our stay. Staff attributed it to water shutoffs happening across the island, but since the sink and shower were working it's unclear why the toilet tank wouldn't refill for that reason.
-I wouldn't recommend renting bikes from them. The bikes are old and poorly maintained - as a free service, they would be appreciated but just not worth renting. Look elsewhere if you stay there.
-They do not seem to serve continental breakfast on Sundays. That's fair, but we didn't get a heads-up on arrival, so you should be aware of it.
-Restaurant on-site wasn't open while we were there - again, not a huge problem but you should be aware if you get the impression it's a 'full service' hotel.
- Naé (3/5): Underwhelmed.. - Unfortunately we ran into a number of issues. There was no water pressure and water was turned off at 10pm. We only found out after booking and could not get refunded. There were blood stains on the shower curtain and a sewerage smell in the bathroom. During an afternoon sleep staff unlocked the door without knocking.
We tried to pay by card on arrival, no terminals working so we had to arrange cash.
For the money paid 480usd for 3 nights this was terrible value.
- Calioutdoors (7/5): great place but $$ - Beautiful, Very clean large room with balcony and kitchenette. Had a roof top bar with great sunset views a little messy on the first floor, parts & random stuff left out, dog doo doo on lawn. No hot water, no shower pressure. No tv, Belize hotels leave it to the guest to use their own streaming service but the internet did not connect here.
