- Andrew (10/5): Delightful place to spend a week doing nothing in the Salento - This is an outstanding property near the end of the Salento. Great place for a couple. Good refrigerator and kitchen amenities. Nice pool. Clean and the hosts LoveSud were very good at communicating and follow through. Beware, there is very little english spoken in this part of Italy. You might want to brush up on your Italian before securing this rental. Lots of quaint restaurants nearby. Also many beaches along the west side of the Salento. Some amazing, some +/-. You have to poke around and see what you would prefer. We visited several. If you are coming in the summer, espeically August you should plan ahead with any kind of reservations. Overall, a lovely place to do pretty much nothing for a week in an area of Italy with great beaches and lovely wine. The pillows were not fantastic, but we didnt really care. Overall the amenities including wifi/internet were fine. There were enough kitchen utinsels and tools to cook with. Great refrigerator and freezer. And, there is are washing and espresso machines!
