• De Bruin (10/5): ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A perfect solo stay! - I stayed here during my solo 50th birthday road trip and it was everything I hoped for — spotless, comfortable, beautifully kept and full of little luxuries. As a woman travelling alone, I felt completely safe. The parking is secure, the cottage is private and the whole place has a calm, cared‑for atmosphere. The facilities were wonderful, the bed super comfortable, the hot water amazing after long days on the road and every detail felt thoughtfully done. And Karin, my host, was absolutely lovely — warm, welcoming and genuinely attentive without ever being intrusive. I loved my stay and would come back in a heartbeat.

The cottage is modern and beautifully styled with a Bali-inspired feel, complete with its own private pool. The kitchen is fully fitted with all modern amenities, and we loved the thoughtful touches-aromatherapy hand washes, bath gels, and similar luxuries- which made the stay feel truly indulgent.

• Lukas (10/5): Exceptional - Karin was a very welcoming and accommodating host. The cottage is spacious with a cozy interior & exterior. The bathroom is modern, with plush towels. The kitchen is well equipped. We appreciated the air conditioner in the bedroom upstairs. Also, a cooldown in the pool on a hot day was wonderful. The location is ideal for exploring the area, within walking distance of restaurants and shops in town.

• Tara (10/5): The perfect weekend getaway & location to explore the area. Loved it. Stay here! You won't regret it - I loved the secludedness of the property. Karin was a great host. She gave us all the info we needed and was very helpful re where to eat, things to see, etc. She was the perfect balance of being helpful but also being left to our devices. There was a heat wave the weekend that we were there so the swimming pool was the perfect place to cool down. We explored the local area and had a lovely relaxing weekend. I would definitely stay here again. Loved it.
• Laura (9/5): We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the Bamboo Cottage - The cottage was open and spacious, with a lovely open-plan living area that flows into the kitchen and out onto the patio. The bathroom and shower were a good size, and the bedroom was spacious and comfortable. I was especially grateful for the fans and air conditioning, as it was quite hot during our stay. The lovely splash pool, which we had to ourselves, was surrounded by trees, making it feel like we were on our own little island. There is parking available on the premises for one vehicle. Additionally, there are plenty of attractions nearby, all just a short drive away. The only downside was that the neighbors were busy with renovations during our stay. The drilling, especially early in the morning and throughout parts of the day, was a bit disruptive and not very pleasant.

Beautiful tranquil space to ‘just be’ No locks on the sliding door so some communication about this would have been great if this was a concern for traveller. This didn’t bother us.
