• Lynda (8/5): Accueil chaleureux et chambre confortable - Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre nuit dans cet établissement. L’accueil a été particulièrement chaleureux, avec un personnel attentionné et disponible. Le rapport qualité-prix est excellent. Un grand merci encore au personnel pour leur accueil ! Petit bémol : le débit d’eau dans la salle de bain était assez faible. Cela ne nous a pas vraiment dérangés pour une seule nuit, mais sur un séjour plus long, cela pourrait poser problème. À noter également : l’emplacement peut être un peu isolé si vous n’êtes pas motorisé — cela peut impacter le bon rapport qualité-prix si vous devez multiplier les trajets.
• Loïc (9/5): Je recommande - L’environnement et le cadre était vraiment très bien. Les chambres étaient comme sur les photos grandes propres. La gentillesse et la disponibilité du personnel qui était tous au top. Nous recommandons vivement ce logement. Dommage que pendant la période de notre séjour il y avait des travaux donc un peu de bruit et compliqué de stationner. Le repas du soir dépanne mais ce n’est pas de la grande cuisine.

Le petit-déj’ est très copieux et peut être changé chaque jour. Le personnel est également très à l’écoute. Quelques coupures d’eau dans la chambre, tout en haut, sûrement à cause de la pression. Si vous avez peur des lézards ou des Geko, cet établissement n’est pas votre ami, il rentre dans la chambre et passe la nuit avec vous.

Great breakfast choices as well The location is actually pretty remote. It's in a village. To get there by a car you either took a narrow short cut. Or make a pretty long detours.

( con la macchina circa 10 minuti) Stanze pulite e confortevoli che sia affacciano su un bellissimo giardino che potrai ammirare mentre fai la tua colazione in camera. Lo staff gentilissimo ci ha organizzato il transfer dall'aeroporto e per il porto. Ci hanno anche preparato una colazione da asporto l'ultimo giorno nonostante andassimo via di mattina molto presto. Cet hôtel familial est tenu par des personnes charmantes et accueillantes. Les aboiements de chiens errants la nuit et le réveil des coqs le matin sont des bémols.

• Kaori (7/5): - よく掃除されていてきれいでした。 スタッフの方もにこやかで、過ごしやすかったです。 トイレはウォシュレット付きでした。（トイレットペーパーは流さなかったですが。） お腹ゆるいので飲み水を心配してましたが、部屋に置いてあるペットボトル、朝食(コーヒー含め)は全部もんだいなしでした。 蚊はそこまでいませんでした。 以下注意点。 ・ホテルのエントランスはちょっとわかりづらくて、通りから入ってすぐの左側の扉。 ・冷蔵庫とセキュリティボックスはありませんでした。(盗難リスクがほぼない感じだったので、困りはしないです) ・網戸がないのとドアに隙間があるので、フルーツや花などが部屋にあると、小さい虫、ハエが集まってしまう。 ・トカゲとコウモリがまぁまぁいました。 ・夜10時までは出歩いて大丈夫とのことでしたが、9時過ぎくらいに歩いてたら野犬に追いかけられてちょっと怖かった。(地元の人が追い払ってくれました。ウブドの人は優しいです） ・朝方、道路には大型犬のうんちがたくさん落ちてるので、歩く時は要注意です。(1時間後くらいにはバイクとかで全て潰されてました笑 日本みたいに犬のフンは拾いましょう的な文化はなさそう。) 1階は、ホテルでゆっくりする予定の場合は避けた方がいいかもしれません。 2部屋あるうちの奥側でしたが、プールから丸見えの位置だったので、目隠しがあるといいなと思いました。

De ramen van onze kamer waren erg smerig en de kamer was kleiner dan wat we gewend zijn. Ook de wastafel in de badkamer was erg klein en daar hing een muffe lucht.

• Marcele (9/5): Santosha Place is a true gem hidden in Tegalalang. I couldn't be happier for staying there. - Santosha Place was just perfect for our family. Accommodation in a true Balinese atmosphere, clean rooms, and an extremely kind and accommodating staff. Agus and his team put their best efforts for meeting our expectations and accommodating some last-minute requests. They organised many tours for us, including massage in the comfort of the room. The breakfast was simple and delicious, as was everything else there. My family and I had an amazing time at Santosha. Although the hotel is not within walking distance of Ubud center, Agus and his team always managed drop-offs and pick-ups at all times. I have also suggested that it would be great if the room were equipped with a little fridge.

I’ve stayed in room 905 if I correctly remember,second floor,a lot of light,amazing view of the houses/temples around,the sky,nature. The place and the room I had had an amazing energy! I had the best sleep. I loved the beauty of the early mornings and the amazing light of the sunsets. I am grateful for my time here! Maybe at the beginning I was not happy with the long stairs to take but as I got some help to get my luggage up and down,in the end it was not a real problem.

It’s a small, family-owned boutique hotel, and they truly make you feel like part of the family. The service was incredibly thoughtful and accommodating – every detail felt personalized with care. I had an in-room massage and facial (seriously, the facial was heavenly), and the food, laundry service, and overall hospitality were all superb. The hotel is tucked away in a peaceful location, just 15 minutes from the hustle and bustle of Ubud – close enough to enjoy the town, but far enough to relax in total serenity. If you’re into wellness, there are lots of options nearby. I especially recommend the School of Unified Healing, which offers free daily practices, and the Pyramids of Chi, just a 5-minute walk away. The infinity pool across the street offers a gorgeous view – perfect for a lazy day in the sun. And breakfast… oh, how I’ll miss the Balinese porridge I became completely addicted to! I saw a few reviews mentioning the portions were small, but honestly – how much food do you need for breakfast? 😳 Thank you, Santosha Place, for making my time in Bali truly unforgettable. I already miss the tranquility and can’t wait to return. Namaste.

It felt like being in a Homestay but with hotel - Traditional Balinese design, with rooms overlooking the family temple, within a family atmosphere. The rooms were so neat and cleaned daily. The location was a bit far from Ubud Center, so we had to order grab or gojek for most of our activities. But I think that location is what makes it quiet and cozy.
• Tamara (10/5): Great experience! - It was very nice to be in the nature, it was very peaceful and only thing you could hear were roosters and birds singing. Even if the property is not in the city center, for is it was not a problem, on the contrary. There is a nice walk through the rice fields that takes you to downtown, and one day we rented the scooter from the property, so that was also useful. The staff was very kind and welcoming, accommodating all our needs.

It was amazing to see the culture so close since all in the neigboorhood has family-temples (their gardens). On the opposite side of the road is a lovely infinitypool above the valley which was accepted to enter if you just ordered something to drink/eat.

The amenities they offer are fantastic, I especially enjoyed the great massages that are offered in your room. The pool was clean and beautiful and the area had some great restaurants. Breakfast was ok, very bland but it was free. The walls are a little thin, you'll hear your neighbor if they have a heavy foot, but I think this is typical in Indonesia and not a fault of the hotel. Those god damn roosters are evil, but they offer you ear plugs to help you get some sleep. The only thing they could actually improve on is a more flavorful breakfast!

Would be coming back again. - Staff were amazing, location was on point, the traditional temple right next to the accommodation is an impressive work of Balinese architecture. For its value you get such an amazing place to stay before exploring ubud. It’s quiet and in the country side makes you feel like ur a part of the local community. Our expectations were blown away by how convenient the staff made our stay. Even the welcome drinks and breakfast sets were amazing. The view of the rice terraces as you wake up and sip your morning coffee is truly majestic. Honestly the only downside are the bugs and gekkos but that’s a part of living in the country side by nature. My additional suggestion for the staff, please market more things such as the tour service, room service, and motorbike rentals on booking.com we didn’t expect these services and honestly it would attract more guests to stay at this already amazing place.

The room was clean and very comfortable, of course a few little bugs but this is Ubud! We had a tasty breakfast on the balcony every day which felt like a treat. My partner used the pool and enjoyed it - it is a little shaded/small area. Ketut was so helpful, he did everything - checkin, breakfast & cleaning! I definitely recommend for a few night stay.

• Davide (7/5): Everything you need for a few days stay, at a good price; 10 minutes from Ubud center. - Simple and good value for money Not a lot of outside space, ideal if you are planning on staying out a lot; not the best if you want to stay in and enjoy the comfort of the hotel
• Ionela (10/5): Exceptional - Tasty breakfast always served at the scheduled time and brought directly to the room. The staff is so gentle, nice and always helpful. The room was cleaned every day. Water was served every day. It could be improved when renovating the walls in the bathroom, so that mold does not settle, otherwise everything is pleasant.
