Guest Reviews
- Garrett (10/5): Exceptional -
- Trent (9/5): Superb -
- David (7/5): Good -
- Bijai (5/5): passable - n/a no early check-in or place to leave luggage.
no staff at reception except on the day of check-in.
- Joseph (4/5): Disappointing - I didn't receive a receipt. I need this for my expenses reporting
- Anonymous (10/5): Very nice! - Convenient location, nice sized room. The beds are very firm, which may be a plus for some.
- Valentin (5/5): Passable -
- Anonymous (9/5): excellent location, clean rooms, great deal - toilet seat quite cramped
- Sydneytraveller (7/5): Shimbashi - good location - Good location short stroll to transport/shops/Ginza Windows could be double glazed as can hear train noise
- Hongru (8/5): No frills, good value stay. - Clean rooms. good location near shimbashi station. Safe surroundings with 24h family mart around the corner. Storage under the bed made up for the small room. Very small room which was fine since we didn't spend any time in it.
- Sydneytraveller (7/5): Shimbashi location - Location is convenient to Shimbashi Station and a short stroll into Ginza Window Glass should be more noise absorbing as quite close to trains passing by
- Lambden (6/5): Pleasant - The bed was comfy The window in my room didn't shut properly
- Oscar (7/5): Good -
- Aeroblitzable (10/5): Quiet area, great access to train station. - The room space was sufficient enough for solo traveller and maybe for two person. Room were clean and extra amenities are provided in front of the reception with no extra charges. Staff was excellent and are ready to help. As for surrounding area, the hotel gets you two station access within 10 minutes of walking. Both train station covers almost entirely of Tokyo if you know where you're going to. The streets are safe and quiet during night time so rest assured you can sleep peacefully without hearing any train sound nearby. Overall very happy with my stay.
- Kyle (5/5): Location is great but hotel lacks cleanliness - Location is perfect as you have access to all the train lines, even the monorail. Downside is reception isnt available all day and the hotel really needs cleaning everyday.. Carpets were stained and shower curtain had some mold on it. Cleaner only came once in the week and a half of being there.
- Spencer (8/5): Great experience but just okay bed - I had a wonderful stay here. This was my first hotel in Japan and it was great (considering the price). I walked to ginza district which was like a 15-20 minute walk but seemed quicker. Close to 7/eleven and Lawson. Yes the room isn’t huge but that is the standard in this country. The bed was the worst part, very stiff and uncomfortable. That was the only thing that could have made it better. The front receptionist helped me book a haircut appointment in Hiroshima in a few days from now and he was awesome. A/c worked great. Free amenities were nice. I suggest to anyone to start their trip here before moving onto the rest of Japan.
- Matthew (9/5): Superb -
- Kenjiro (4/5): Old apartment converted into apartments. Noisy, but works. - Unito Shidome offers great value, but it's an old apartment converted into a hotel. I got a room for about $80/night and it's about a 5 min walk to the Shimbashi station. I walked to Ginza in about 10 mins or Shimbashi station pretty much takes you to anywhere in Tokyo. Shimbashi itself has a pretty lively nightlife too.
Unito Shiodome's check-in is a little later at 4pm, but you can check in earlier for 1000yen/hour. Very cool that they offer this option. There are 4 residents on each floor and you can hear them slamming the door. Since everyone is traveling, I heard slamming and upstairs packing at all hours. Didn't sleep well at all. Bring ear plugs.
Couldn't really keep the curtain open because it faces other buildings that can see inside. Like literally office workers are about 10ft from where I'm sitting.
- Cheuk (8/5): Very good - Location and price Cleanliness can be improved. Also will be great to provide clothes refreshing spray.
- Brenna (10/5): This stay was excellent. It had all the basics, as well as a few comfort ameneties like free coffee - This hotel was so close to 2 central stations, as well as nightlife and restaurants. Luggage shipment service was not offered, but this is a minor inconvenience. There is a 7-Eleven and Lawson nearby that offers the service
- Aniak (10/5): Exceptional -
- Janev (8/5): Good location, close to metro stations. -
- Yue (10/5): Exceptional - Room is quite small however clean and well-organized. Besides the price is very good for the location. It's easy to walk to Shimbashi and Shiodome station, and I can get to Shibuya, Shinjuku, Omote-sando, Jimbocho, and Haneda airport all in about 30mins or less. Not to mention it's walking distance to Tsukiji and Ginza. Very good experience for a shopping tourist. Looking forward to next time stay.
- Michael (7/5): Good - Good location close to Shimbashi station and family marts close by. Tidy rooms with friendly staff. Wasn't able to accept or send luggage using Yamato transport. But, there was a service center close to the station.
- Oh (8/5): Perfect accommodation for our stay, just couple things i wish were different to make it better! - The location of the hotel was great and made it easy to get to anywhere i needed to go. Staff were also very friendly and amazing. No room to place our luggage as the draw under the bed wasn't allowed to be used and pillows weren't that comfortable
- Jeffrey (8/5): Very good -
- Truthword (9/5): Superb -
- Florian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Soonyon (7/5): Very good value for money - Having a cooktop and a bathtub Train noise from the outside can be bothersome
- Jason (10/5): Exceptional - unomata has the best customer service.
- Guus (8/5): Very good - Located in a bit more quiet part of central Tokyo. Rooms are small which is expected in Tokyo. Facilities are of good standard. For me it was a bit pricy, but then again... nothing unusual for Tokyo. Otherwise convenient place with some restaurants and konbini in the area. I made an error an put on the backdoor code wrongly. When I came back to the hotel after 22:00 I couldn't get back in! So I called the owner but he didn't really understand me. If it wasn't for another guest I was stuck outside! (the lesson is: don't put down the wrong code!)
- Carlos (8/5): Comfortable - Good place to stay, equipped with a small kitchen, private bathroom and good shower. Kind staff and good neighbourhood. You will have to walk a bit to get everywhere. But not too much
- Alexandria (8/5): Very good -
- Khuram (5/5): Passable -
- Yayi (10/5): Exceptional - The staff is really nice and welcoming. The room is small but comfortable and clean, suitable for one person.
- Beng (10/5): Exceptional -
- Linda (8/5): Good stay and great value for money. - Great experience. The bed was fabulous. The room didn't have the small kitchen that I expected. Also, the desk lamp was really bad and the overhead lighting was too bright. The bed light didn't work either and there was dust behind the TV. That said, I would choose the hotel again.
- Sami (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vinda (10/5): Exceptional -
- Takayuki (10/5): Exceptional -
- Takayuki (8/5): Very good -
- Hemanth (5/5): Good location, not the best experience - Location, couldnt be better. Close to 2 stations and in a peaceful side street. The wierd checkin rules. They said you cant keep your luggage at all in some places, and some places that you can keep it only during the front desk hours. Eventually it seems you can keep it only between 9 am and 10 pm.
- Agniya (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, very polite staff and comfortable rooms, a lot of sightseeing around the hotel, I enjoyed my stay a lot Impossible to leave luggage after the checkout due to lack of space at the reception
- Tina (9/5): Amazing central place - Very quiet and central place. LUUP location is directly in front of the hotel door. Room is small but still perfect with the private bathroom. Everything was perfect for us ! Nothing
- Petra (8/5): It was really cute and comfortable accommodation with great view. The location is quiet and you are close to all of the - It was really cute accommodation with convenient location. There was a great view from 12th floor. It was really tiny, but you can tell from the pictures and it is nothing uncommon in Japan.
- Dmitry (8/5): Very good -
- Takeharu (3/5): Poor -
- Maricel (7/5): Good -
- Graeme (8/5): Very good - All hotels for travellers are overpriced per night when in Tokyo you can actually get Love hotels for lower prices and bigger rooms (some you cant go in and out though). But this hotel was clean, easy to check in and out and comfortable, thoigh very small room. Pricing as above, for hotels is high.
- Jessie (9/5): Very accessible location and very comfortable stay - Great location. And nice and clean Not a lot I got what I payed for
- Lewis (1/5): The room looks nothing like the photos, avoid this place - Good location The room looks nothing like the pictures on booking. I booked the room based on the photos on the listing and it feels like a totally different hotel to the one that was promised. In reality it's dark, cramped and depressing. I recommended staying anywhere else.
- Peter (9/5): Superb -
- Jessica (8/5): Very good - It’s very accessible and near the train stations Small bed
- Abiral (7/5): Good -
- Moeka (7/5): Good -
- Islam (8/5): Very good -
- Kerry (8/5): Very good -
- Louise (10/5): I really enjoyed my stay and the owner is very nice and tries his best to communicate. - The owner is very accommodating and I really enjoyed our stay. We were only there for one day but It was a very nice one day. The view of Aso mountain is very beautiful and I wish I had more time to spend there and take in all of the sights.
- Izwan (8/5): Very good - Location is very near to the train station and convenience store was nearby. you could just walk to the hotel without taking any transportation.night life around that area was pretty good.Check in and check out is really easy and staff was very friendly with us. Big luggage would be a problem as the room is slightly small but no complaints as everything is good enough
- Fabrizio (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ame (10/5): Exceptional - There is no microvave. But it is very clean and comfortable bed. Great security and air-conditioning works great. Small kitchen and refrigerator too. Close to station. Very small room. If you just need a place to take a shower and sleep, great value.
- Yuko (5/5): Passable -
- Justin (8/5): Very good -
- Clare (6/5): Pleasant -
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -
- Anonymous (8/5): very much recommended to those who are willing to rest and get recovered for the day coming - location and room environment less equipped bath amenity
- Nychotshot (7/5): If you want a privacy and some autonomy(simple cooking option) for cheap, it's a decent option. - - It was sufficiently equipped small one room apartment about 5-10min walk from Shimbashi station. - Too spartan, very unwelcoming interior design.
- combination PIN only/no card keys... very smart but not my taste. I prefer card keys.
- no luggage hold before or after the stay, not even the same day.
- Location isn't bad but a little walk from convini or food options. You have to cross few big highways for everything.
- Peter (7/5): Good -
- Liao (5/5): not recommend.Check in time is 4pm,and cannot help store luggage. -
- Puguh (9/5): Superb -
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -
- Alex (8/5): Very good -
- Wisarut (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lilian (8/5): Very good -
- Anonymous (8/5): Best for those who want to die in bed. - Simplicity Clothing is Not prepared
- Lukas (7/5): Good -
- Tomasz (8/5): The room is small, but the bed is big. Good business hotel in Tokyo - Good location and big bed
- Stephanie (8/5): Very good - Convenient location away from the main road so it's quiet at night. Stove and sink is convenient in the room. You can also decide which days you like the cleaning to be done by informing the staff. The power sockets in the room are a little oddly located, but not a dealbreaker. It will be a tight fit for two people and two suitcases. The front desk is not 24h and that can be a little inconvenient at times, as you will not be able to receive packages or luggage if you're planning to use a forwarding service.
- Stewart (2/5): Very poor -
- Shoko (6/5): Pleasant -
- Marisa (8/5): Very good -
- David (3/5): Other places I have been at are much better. I live in Japan and visit Tokyo weekly. - The location was good. No staff outside of checking. Had to use a QR and register to check in. It did not work. Room was too simple with no sitting and a little outside noise. As I know Tokyo hotels well from weekly travel, I won't stay here again.
- Sandra (7/5): Simple, clean accommodations near Shinbashi Station - Very simple ‘business’ hotel. Small, but clean room with comfortable bed and pillows. Short walk to Shinbashi and Shiodome Stations. Great TV selection (Netflix, YouTube, Zulu…). Friendly bilingual front desk staff. Be aware that it is not possible to drop off luggage before check-in (nobody there to accept it). Very close to train tracks, there is a bit of noise.
- Matjaz (9/5): One of the best trips - It is small, not a luxury room, but it has all you need for tourist visit of Tokyo. Very cute and very convenient. Ina an area that is quiet but has all the connections to all the spots worth visiting.
- Yichia (10/5): Exceptional - the location is near Shinbashi JR station
- Armando (10/5): Exceptional -
- Leung (3/5): Poor - Convenient shops nearby Shower curtains with mold
- Timothy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Peou (7/5): good - clean and small location
- Linda (8/5): Very good -
- Sol (7/5): Good -
- Adrian (6/5): Pleasant - Good location Mold on the shower curtain,
No free luggage storage possible, thus an extra fee payed for early check in.
- Thomas (6/5): Okay for a night - Great location and quiet room Not really a hotel, more of an apartment building that rents out some rooms. Nobody at the front desk before 4pm meaning any issues is hard to fix, e.g. there was no coffee one morning. Room was very dusty.
- E (9/5): Easy and convenient - simple room, nice bathroom. Great location for business in a quiet neighborhood. Easy pin code system Even though I kept my bathroom very clean, it started to smell funky the last couple of days. I wish there was no charge for a sheets change.
- Hiu (10/5): Nice. it’s quite close to the station and family mart. - Clean, good location. If the checkin time earlier would be much better.
- Dionysuss (7/5): Good - The location is quite convenient, near to subway station and convenient store. The room is equipped with a small kitchen and a small refrigerator. They even provide bath tube! The bed is just tight for two people, not bad but not a comfortable one.
- Anuttri (6/5): Pleasant -
- Chizuka (7/5): Good -
- Chuah (7/5): Affordable. You get what you've paid for. Acceptable. - 1. Superb location, very near to Family Mart and train station.
2. There is a mini kitchen with an induction cooker, a few basic utensils and a kettle.
3. Affordable price.
4. The room n toilet is clean 1. The ventilation in the toilet keeps blowing cold air into the toilet and eventually the room. The heater in the room thus needs to be switched on all the time as the heat cannot be retained. The bathing experience has also becomes unpleasant as you need to be in a cold toilet.
2. The reception is only open from 4pm to 10pm. This makes communication harder. The person-in-charge for the accomodation is also not very responsive to texts even when it is true Line contact that they've provided.
3. No luggage storage facilities if you happened to arrive earlier.
4. The room is very small. You basically aren't able to open 2 big luggage at the same time.
