• Beverley (8/5): Overall stay was ok. Breakfast needs to be improved. - Location of Hotel. Decent sized room. Friendly staff. Breakfast was poor. Hard fried egg and no bacon. They offered really thickly sliced gammon steak instead, which was far too much. They had no bread, so we were offered a burger bun instead. This wasn't ideal.

• Sandra (9/5): Lovely clean room and friendly staff - The room was clean and had everything you would need for an overnight stay The pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable, this is a personal preference as I like my pillows firm my daughter however had no problem with them.

• Phil (9/5): Good value, odd repair needed. - In an area I knew, greeted and served warmly, housekeeping had overlooked a lipstick stained glass in our room The wardrobe back was loose and bedside cabinets had peeling or broken laminates, just an occasional scan of the rooms should pick this up.

• Juliette (10/5): Highly recommend - A wonderful stay from start to finish, the room was clean and cosy there were lovely fluffy towels and free toiletries, the bed was very comfy, all the staff were so accommodating and polite, the food was absolutely delicious and the breakfast was gorgeous I would highly recommend this hotel.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

• Zena (8/5): Wonderful - We have returned to staying here after some 2yrs approximately following bad experiences with the management however the now new management are doing their best to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Staff carn’t do enough for you, and the food in the pub is now much improved, and good selection to choose from . I would recommend the hotel for both accommodation, or just for a great meal out Zena

• Janette (5/5): Wouldn't have booked had we known no breakfast - The rooms were nice and clean, comfy beds and lovely hot shower with good water pressure. We were given 3 rooms close together, as requested (myself/husband and our grown children and their partners). We were attending a family party. Our biggest disappointment was that there was no breakfast available in the adjoining bar/restaurant, this was not advertised. We booked based on reviews that positively mentioned breakfast. No recommendations for where else we could go for breakfast. When we left, 9.30am there was not a single member of staff to drop keys with despite looking. Poor staff service. We had to ask for an iron even though the room had an ironing board. And, the hairdryer in room three was so sticky (the whole thing) that after using, it had actually made my hands sticky!

• Ian (8/5): - Clean and comfortable, only spoke to 1 staff member but he was excellent, friendly and efficient. Room was secure and quiet. Parking very convenient and location ideal. Overall great value and would book again. Shame they don't offer a breakfast, we had to order in. Main problem was the smell of drains in the bathroom, absolutely disgusting smell, thankfully we weren't in the room for long to need to spend much time in there! Also the hot tap was faulty and just kept turning without stopping the water, had to use both hands to hold part of it and turn the other part.

Only issue was returning from a family party on the sunday at 9pm on a bank holiday sunday and the bar was closed.. we had to end up getting uber eats to deliver us some drinks and snacks.
