- Herbert (9/5): Good option to camp in Skopje - We really valued the location being halfway between the Matka Canyon and the center of Skopje, each accessible within about 15-20min. I looked at the other camping options in town and really appreciated this location, especially if you're pulling a longer rig. The owner is friendly and tries to help out when he can. All camping facilities (electricity, restrooms, shower, wastewater) given. We would gladly come back. We paid in cash/EUR. You’ll get what you expect when you’re not looking for a 4* camping. Mobile communication with the owner was easy, Whatsapp would have been possible as well. Yes, there was only a cold water shower, but considering the temperatures during our stay it was actually a nice way to refresh.
