Guest Reviews
- Graham (9/5): Would definitely stay again! - Excellent property and great communication throughout. Was there for a golf comp at Seapoint, which is a short drive away! Nothing
- Bethan (10/5): - The location, the cleanliness and the hospitality Nothing

- Wendy (8/5): - Beautiful location, bit noisy on Monday morning for traffic on main road to town. Only drawback is not really safe to walk to from town as no street lights or pavements.
- Brad (10/5): Wonderful! - Wonderful cottage! Easy check-in, loved the location, the cottage had everything we needed. Loved the view!
- Henry (10/5): Wonderful modern property with gorgeous views - The place was really clean and spacious, well provisioned and in a lovely location. Beds were comfy and the facilities were spot on. Lovely views of the beech, headland and wonderful walks nearby along the coast. Our host was very responsive to our queries. I would 100% stay here again. Lovely spot to explore the local area. Great restaurants nearby in Drogheda. Nothing it was perfect for our needs.

- Grainne (10/5): -
- Anne (10/5): Great location to explore Clogherhead and surrounding areas. - Super, modern property. Beautiful view from the large window in the kitchen.
- Hough (10/5): Exceptional - The cottage exceeded our expectations in every way, fresh, clean and modern finishings. And not to mention the stunning view
- Dante (10/5): Exceptional - Ocean front. Bathrooms attached to bedrooms. WiFi was able to hold all 4 phones, 1 computer, and 1 tv simultaneously. Ocean front. Just outside Clogerhead village, where there is food and grocery stores. Nothing. Perfect experience.
- Lee (10/5): Exceptional -
- Laura (9/5): Superb -
- Beverly (10/5): We had a great visit and saw so many beautiful places. The property was perfect for everything we wanted to see and do. - Location and view of the sea were excellent. Beds were very comfortable. If you are planning on doing guided tours, most leave from Dublin early in the morning. Also, wish the property had a dryer - minor inconvenience.
- Nicola (10/5): This was our 2nd time staying. Love the property - Exceptionally clean, caters for all needs and very cosy The proper is excellent. Location is slightly off the beaten track.
A mirror in the twin room would be useful
- Smith (10/5): Gorgeous location and cozy accommodation! Absolute gem of a property! We would love to come back! -
- Anne-lea (10/5): Beautiful modern comfy very clean house. Excellent to stay for a short or a long period - The house is fabulous and modern. The view is beautiful and it is a very short drive to the beach. We felt very good in this house and the beds were so comfy. It was also very clean. We had a perfect stay. Best house we had during our stay in Ireland, and in our top 2 in all our trips for the last 15 years
- Heidi (9/5): 3 nights in Drogheda - We liked having bathrooms in the rooms and the heater worked almost too well! Lovely view of the beach.
- Kevin (10/5): Beautiful location, amazing host, comfortable beds. Everything you need for a lovely time with friends and family. If yo - Everything! Amazing warm welcome by the host, with fresh fruit/bread and cookies. We had a member of our party feeling ill and needed and early check-in and they were so accommodating. I would 100% stay here again and recommend this to anybody. Nothing. Everything was outstanding.
- Ria (9/5): Beautiful view, comfortable stay! - Location. The view is beautiful. Spacious and nicely decorated home and great water pressure.
Furniture is comfortable.
- Eileen (10/5): Home from home but with better views :-) - The cottage is amazing. Clean, beds are really comfortable. Books to read, board games. Andrea has thought of everything. It really felt like home! The location is perfect for beaches, lovely walks & the village has all you could need within walking distance. The photos do not do the cottage or area justice! I can’t think of one negative.
- David (10/5): Exceptional - Modern, spacious, immaculate. Great bathrooms with fantastic showers.
Peaceful location with fabulous view Couldn’t fault it
- Debbie (10/5): An absolute gem - would 100% stay again! - Beautiful cottage - photos do not do it justice. Fantastic views and so well equipped - the owners have thought of everything. I would 100% recommend. The only thing I would change about our stay is the weather - but then again it is Ireland!
- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely modern and clean house with gorgeous views
- Miquella (8/5): Very good -
- Anna (10/5): Stunning view from exceptional cottage. Strongly recommended - Beautiful cottage with all what you need. Stunning sea view. Very clean. I haven't found anything that I didn't like
All.waa great 👍
- Nancy (9/5): Very nice, very comfy. - gorgeous property, great views, nice and quiet but close enough to beaches and shops. Kitchen could have had a bit more in terms of utensils/cookware/mugs, etc. Great if you want to eat out frequently, and there were definitely enough to do some basic cooking, but it would have been good to have things like a veg peeler, a grater and some good sharp knives. Small problems, but it would have been nice. Also, TV connection kept cutting out - perhaps when there was a lot of activity on the internet?? Sometimes it was fine.
- Helena (10/5): We would love to come back here ;) - Very cozy and clean house, ideal for a family or a group of friends. Sea and country view. Nice rooms, clean modern bathrooms. We have nothing to complain about
- Sharon (10/5): Beautiful, cosy and comfy. - Beautiful cottage, cosy and comfy with beautiful sea views. Well kept and clean. A perfect little home away from home. We loved our stay here and couldn't fault anything.
- Jason (10/5): Overall a wonderful place to stay. We would highly recommend. - Excellent views and the house was spotless clean when we arrived.
Great water pressure and the heating worked great especially on cold morning. There wasn't a drier to dry our cloths but that may just be due to maintenance.
- Rachel (10/5): Great accommodation with super views - Great accommodation. This cottage has been designed/furnished to a very high standard. Everything was super, and the view was amazing. Very comfortable stay. I would highly recommend this accommodation Nothing
- Zacary (9/5): Perfect base for a group Ireland and Northern Ireland trip. - Loved the beautiful location on the beach and the features of the house. The layout of the house is perfect for groups traveling together. The kitchen and gathering area was very large for accommodating group activities such as games, eating, drinking, etc. the location was beautiful and very conveniently located between Dublin and Belfast. The sinks in the attached bathrooms were quite small and uncomfortable.
- Davy (10/5): Exceptional - Fab modern cottage in nice setting!
- Minogue (10/5): Exceptional - Fab view and very comfortable
- Timothy (9/5): Superb -
- Siobhan (8/5): Comfortable stay in a cosy cottage - The house was comfortable and finished to a high standard. The large windows in the new extension really allow you to take in the stunning views even if in our case it included Storm Agnes raging outside!
We really liked the large island in the kitchen for gathering around at mealtimes. The kitchen was well equipped, allowing us to prepare meals with ease.
The bedrooms are small but comfortable, the two ensuites are squeezed in well. The larger bathroom is well finished with useful option of a full bath. It's nice to have the option of a washing machine and ironing board for a longer stay.
We really enjoyed our stay, there is so much to see in the surrounding area. The fish shop in Port Oriel is a must for fish lovers! Overall there was nothing that reduced the enjoyment of our stay and we were reassured that Andrea and Andrew are both ready to help you with any queries or problems you might have.
It's unfortunate the cottage is situated in an internet blackspot with poor broadband speed. As the TV is only set up to allow streaming this makes it virtually unusable. This didn't spoil our stay but it may be important for other visitors to know.
It would be useful for the twin room with no ensuite to have a mirror.
A note on how the bins are organised would be useful as we couldn't work out which was for recycling etc.
- Fiona (9/5): A fabulous cottage. Super clean and comfortable. The views are lovely. It was a great spot and we would love to stay aga - Lovely cottage. Very comfortable for 6 of us- plenty of space. Shame it was such a short visit! No welcome pack !
- Miriam (9/5): Superb - Beautiful house with magnificent view. The house had lovely stone features. The road the house is on is very busy and quite dangerous to walk on. The Wi-Fi could be better.
- Deborah (9/5): Superb -
- Hazel (10/5): Perfect for couples or if attending concerts - Stunning accommodation can’t fault it N/A
- Flanagan (7/5): Beautiful property with a view. - The house is beautiful. Very new and clean. The beds were very comfortable. The view of the sea was lovely. The house would benefit from outdoor seating and a microwave. The location was very quiet, with only one takeaway open for our stay. I had hoped for more.
- Joann (9/5): A wonderful stay in a lovely property; highly recommended. - The house it’s bright & airy, spacious with a fabulous view.
it is well appointed and equipped.
- Patrick (10/5): Exceptional - The House felt like home, very well designed, exceptionally clean and lovely scenery. I would highly recommend this cottage and would definitely revisit the area. N/A
- Amelia (10/5): Highly recommend a stay here - Lovely house, everything in it was to a high standard. Check in and out couldn't have been easier. Really clean house, had everything we needed and more. The lovely sea views really topped it off for us.
- Jeff (10/5): Exceptional -
- Feehan (10/5): A stunning finished cottage with stunning view over the Clogherhead coastline. - From the moment we got out of the car and saw the view, then opened the door we where blown away by the cottage. A beautiful open plan kitchen & living room with an Island in the middle for breakfast, dinner & having a good natter over a cup of tea. Stunning stone wall from the old cottage exposed along the hall way blew us way. Everything in this cottage is done to and exceptional standard, kitchen, utility room, bathroom & two rooms with en-suites. Nothing
- Gaetano (9/5): Superb - Incredibile house! All incredible
- Nicola (10/5): we had a wonderful time - everything was fabulous, finished to a high standard. everything catered for
- Rep (10/5): Exceptional - Absolutely brilliant place to stay. Our hosts were exceptional Nothing
- S (9/5): Andrea was a welcoming host, place is great for families on short breaks, brand new house + mod cons - Location was good - not too far from amenities and restaurants in town as well as beach area Wi-fi connectivity weak outside of main living /dining area e.g. bedrooms
- Tina (10/5): Didn’t want to leave. Would definitely visit again. 😁 - comfortable, clean and everything there that you could need. The views are amazing and the cottage is close to the town but not too close.
- Philomena (10/5): Exceptional - Myself and my 2 daughters had a lovely 2 night stay here over the bank holiday weekend. We were the first guests staying in this beautiful cottage and were very grateful for the welcome pack we received. The cottage was spotless clean, is very spacious with good heating, and best of all, a lovely sea view. All three bedrooms had very comfortable beds with two having ensuite bathrooms. There's also plenty of room in front of the cottage for parking.
The location is very near Clogherhead village, as well as the harbour and beach. It's also only a 15 minute drive from Drogheda and about a 45 minute drive from Dublin Airport. We would recommend a trip to the harbour to try out the fresh fish and chips available at the weekend.
Looking forward to staying again here soon.
