• Ellyse (10/5): WOW beautiful place - This place was in the most incredible location. The beach is literally at your doorstep surrounded by jungle and palm trees. A very unique experience to be somewhere quite remote. The room was nice too. A good sized room with an elevated bed, own ensuite and a large porch to chill on. The staff are very friendly and accomadating. Incredible food, the lady that cooks makes amazing meals and plentiful! I had fresh fish, rice and greens pretty much everyday but she always made it different, fresh fruits eggs or sweets in the morning. Absolutely loved my stay here.
• Debbie (10/5): Beautiful ocean front hut in the centre of all the diving spots! - Ulis messaged me before I arrived and was great in answering all my questions helping me organise diving. Ulis doesn’t speak a lot of English but is easy to text with. The cabin is lovely. A new building, right on the water with your own bathroom (toilet and bucket shower.) The eating area also looks onto the water. Ulis wife makes delicious food - cake, chicken, fish, prawns. I booked for one night and stayed for 10! Thank you Ulis and family. The mattress was a little soft but they were able to swap it for a firm mattress when I asked. Difficult to communicate in English in person but over text is good.

• Fleur (10/5): - Les bungalows sont agréables, la vue très belle. Le matelas très confortable. Le seul bémol c'est qu'il n'y a pas d'endroit pour ranger ses affaires. Mais de toute façon il vaut mieux tout laisser dans la valise fermée à cause d'éventuelles bébettes. Un hamac se serait bien aussi sur la terrasse. Les repas étaient vraiment très bons et très copieux. Nous avons fait des excursions avec Ulysse et Timo. Snorkeling exceptionnel. Nos hôtes ont été d'une grande gentillesse.

• Jason (5/5): Communication with homeowner was poor - The location is beautiful, its at the far end of the crowded island side however it can feel a bit deserted so don't expect to do much here. The very kind ladies gave us so much food everyday, it was very tasty! The communication with the homeowner was very poor and on this island it is important to have good communication to arrange trips and travel to other islands. It already started off poorly when we expected him to get us picked up at Waisai but apparently he forgot the time and could not be contacted, we waited for hours and in the end we needed to travel with a fisherman. When we finally arranged a trip with him the other day, we waited for over 5 hours (!!) while we got told to get ready at around 7 in the morning. At that point we could only do half a trip.
• Sabine (8/5): - Tolle Lage direkt am Strand. Das Essen war wirklich sehr gut. Die Menschen sind super freundlich. Schnorcheln am Riff direkt vor der Tür. Die Matratze ist etwas weich. Leider lief das Aggregat die ganze Nacht.

В., 2025 у меня украли 200 (двести) долларов США и один миллион индонезийских песо (на дверях комнат нет замков, в самом начале я спросил у водителя лодки безопасно ли это, он сказал, что безопасно). Я сообщил о краже этому водителю лодки он же, как мне показалось менеджер (единственный кто понимает по английски). Он сказал, что позвонит в полицию потом вроде, как позвонил (по крайне мере сделал вид), затем он сказал мне проверить всё еще раз, я проверил ещё раз, потом он сказал, что он должен все проверить сам и проверил мою напоясную сумку. Затем он сказал, что ему надо проверить всё еще раз, но теперь ещё и чемодан в том числе. Он включил видеозапись на смартфоне и начал снова проверять сумку, затем чемодан, вытаскивая даже медикаменты. В процессе проверки он ехидно смеялся. После того, как он проверил, он сказал, что на следующий день, когда мы с ним прибудем Вайсай, перед тем, как я отправлюсь в Соронг, мы с ним съездим в полицию, где я напишу заявление. На следующий день его не было, я отправился в Соронг с другим человеком. Видимо он таким образом хотел обеспечить себе алиби, оставив отпечатки своих пальцев повторно под видом проверки, чтоб выявленные криминалистами его отпечатки пальцев не являлись доказательством его причастности. Я перед тем, как поселиться здесь пересчитал все деньги и у меня все траты были записаны, и вся сумма денег перед поездкой в Раджа Ампат на листочке записана. Как-то раз принесли ложку, так я когда грязь отскребал, у меня кусок грязи под ногтём остался.

• Julie (9/5): Friendly place to stay. - Intum Homestay was a friendly place to stay, Elise's cooking was fantastic 😍 Our cottage was basic but had it's own bathroom and a balcony that touched the water. There is a small beach at low tide. We enjoyed playing cards with Oocha and her friends, lots of fun and laughter. The house reef was good and the drop off is a short swim away and amazing with lots of fish and corals. Uliss took us on a snorkeling trip to Cape Kri.... beautiful. We would stay again 🙂

• Viktoriya (10/5): - It's a piece of heaven on earth. The island is beautiful with a reef literally on your doorstep. The homestay is perfectly located for exploring the surrounding area and offers great excursions at fair prices. Everything you need is there. The food is amazing every time and the hosts are warm and wonderful people. Thank you very much, I recommend it 100%!
• Dooge (8/5): Idyllic location with delicious meals and super friendly basic comfortable accomodation! - The little cottage was on the most beautiful side of Kri Island with spectacular sunrise and sunsets- a spacious clean and comfortable cottage. The owners wife prepared 3 delicious local meals every day, and it was amazing to sit on veranda with the sea a few steps away, and enjoy your home cooked meals! The only negative was the poor lighting in the bathroom - a primitive but practical bucket shower was available, but the bathroom was very dark and with limited electricity it was challenging! The large amount of feral rats were also not always fun to share accommodation with!
• Melanie (8/5): Des hôtes supers ! - Les hôtes étaient incroyablement gentils et dispo et serviables. Ils ont préparé à manger pour tous les repas, de vrais chefs. Hyper bon, en grosse quantité, varié. Trop bien vraiment trop belle experience. Les sanitaires un peu vétustes, les rats sur l’île peuvent entrer dans nos chambres s’il y a de la nourriture attention à ne pas la laisser traîner.
• Jose Andres (10/5): A perfect homestay to snorkeling - The place is in front of a big space of corals full of fish. A perfect place to snorkeling. The family are very warm people which I have the pleasure to meet, we had anything we need and they were constantly checking if we had anything we need. This is a homestay so please don't expect hotel standards, remember you are just in front of the jungle :). We would love to coma back again. Thanks Ulis!
• Irene (10/5): Sitio paradisiaco - Una experiencia de 10! Aunque no hablen mucho inglés no es necesario, la familia entera son encantadores. La casa, perfecta si buscas aventura, eso sí la cama estaba en el suelo y en las fotos no aparecía así. La comida excelente y en grandes cantidades, estaba todo buenísimo. Que gran cocinera! Está algo aislado para los que a lo mejor buscan algo con más gente, pero tener una playa privada y el arrecife al lado no tiene precio. Al estar en medio de la selva puedes tener visitantes nocturnos pero en nuestro caso solo tuvimos la visita de un roedor por culpa de unas patatas abiertas. Con ellos puedes hacer viajes en barcos a muy buen precio, eso si al ser una familia si quieres hacer snorkel debes llevarte tu propio material ya que ellos no tienen Hemos salido encantados de la experiencia y volveremos seguro! Al estar al lado del mar, lo único las sábanas tiene olor a humedad, pero es normal. Si pudiesen usar algún producto para eso sería genial! .
• Candela (9/5): Kri es exactamente lo que te esperarías de un paraíso del buceo. - Cuando vas a Raja Ampat ya sabes que vas a uno de los paraísos del buceo y que lo importante es el mar. De todas maneras es increíble tener la oportunidad de vivir en una casita de madera justo enfrente del mar. Además el servicio es increíble, la comida está riquísima y son super amables. Hay que tener en cuenta que dada la ubicación en la que está no hay electricidad todas las horas del día. Normalmente de 18:00 a 6:00. Y no hay agua corriente. Es un poco difícil comunicarse por ahí o planear excursiones/ inmersiones de buceo. Hay que intentar hablar con la gente que se hospeda ahí o sino las excursiones salen demasiado caras. Las cosas se hacen de manera muy espontánea, esto no es malo, pero es algo que hay que tener en cuenta si vas a Raja Ampat en general.
• Greta (7/5): Super basic but in a beautiful place - The bungalow is in a really nice position since you have privacy and you are close to cape Kri and the sandbanks (for both you need a boat). The food is one of the best part, very generous and home cooked by the mother who is really nice, even if she doesn’t speak English. Also it’s served on your terrace so you can eat whenever you prefer and in privacy. The bungalow offers the most basic essentials. The bed is on the floor and the toilet is made of two water baskets. The owners don’t speak English so it’s very complicated to organize everything. Also because there is no wifi and no internet connection (unless you have Telkomsel). Be ready to have visit by some little mouse and insects.
• Diana (1/5): Solo para viajeros muy aventureros - La isla es preciosa. No se puede esperar mucho ya que la isla no está desarrollada y eso es maravilloso, pero no para quedarte ahí, al menos para mí. A no ser que quieras vivir una experiencia durmiendo casi al aire libre, no te lo recomiendo. La cabaña está abierta y por la noche entran todo tipo de animales y el colchón está en el suelo. El “baño” desprende un olor curioso.. Si buscas algo de comodidad, no es tu sitio.. La señora muy amable.
• Nuria (8/5): Beautiful location in Kri Island - The location of the bungalow is great, right on a white sand beach. You have the beach at the door of your bungalow and you’re located in a part of Kri where you’ll enjoy the most amazing sunsets. The female owner is very attentive and cooks amazing food. We ate really well and there was always plenty. We did a snorkeling trip with them to Cape Kri which is very close. The bungalow has its own bathroom with a bucket shower and a Western style toilet. It could improve by adding a mirror and a shelve. The shower is salt water.
• BEATRIZ (10/5): Cabaña en el paraíso - Uliss y su familia estuvieron pendientes de nosotros incluso antes de la llegada. La ubicación es perfecta. Tienes una playa paradisiaca justo delante y ademas tienes un arrecife de coral que no te lo acabas justo delante del homestay. Ahi vimos tiburones tortugas y peces de todo tipo. La comida era exquisita y muy abundante. Es el mejor homestay en el que hemos estado en toda nuestra estancia. Repetiría seguro! ❤️
• Ziggy (8/5): Great value for money - Best food I had in Raja Ampat. There are also two diving shops on the island, and Kri is located near some of the best diving / snorkelling spots. Owner also took us on a day trip to Piaymeno / Rufus Islands and the snorkelling there was just breathtaking. Staff were very kind and interactive, lots of cute dogs on the island. One of the darker properties I’ve stayed in, but you don’t spend much time in the huts themselves.
• Andor (10/5): Exceptional - We had full board and the food was super tasty and plentiful. The family was super nice and tried to help us with everyone. The Homestay is best located on the beach with a nice house reef.
• Cecilia (10/5): Very nice and quiet little homestay on a private beach with amazing food - The location, the beach and house reef were all amazing but the people and of course the amazing home cooked meals really make this place worth staying at. If we come back to Raja ampat we will return to intum 100%
• Gill (5/5): Check for rodents. They are plentiful there - Stayed 6 nights right on the beach. Great snorkeling just 5 minutes away from my cabin. Meals provided x3 per day, each one different. However, the last 3 night I had unwelcome guests: 2 mice drowned in my water supply barrel. The last night some animal dragged my clothes to the bathroom, at night, causing damage to them. That spoiled the experience for me

• Albab94 (1/5): SCAMMERS, DO NOT BOOK - IMPORTANT: THEY ARE SCAMMERS. It all seemed good at our arrival, but our first night in the bungalow we woke up with cockroaches on our body. We asked for bug spray, which did little to nothing, so we decided to inspect the bed and found a cockroach nest under the mattress. We complained and helped ourselves to clean the whole bed. Gave a second opportunity to the room, but woke up again with cockroaches on us. We didn't sleep for more than an hour straight. At this point we told the owner that we couldn't stay there and asked them to give our money back for the nights we would not be staying there (not even the whole amount). He laughed at our "fear of cockroaches" but told us he would give it back once he got it from Booking.com. We continued messaging, asking for the money but he would keep saying he didn't have it until he stopped replying to us. We had contacted booking.com who tried to reach the homestay too, without response. They have not given ANY of the money back and have ignored us and booking.com (they have already received the money, booking confirmed with us). I try not to leave bad reviews ever, since I feel like homestays usually try to do their best, but this is outrageous. Do NOT book with them if you don't want to be scammed.

• Calais (9/5): Amazing - Really nice stay at Intum. It was a time out of the world. The family was so nice and the food was excellent. Accommodation was good for the island.
• Manuel (8/5): Very good - First bungalow on the beach , so you have the beautiful palm trees for yourself. Nice reef for snorkel just out of the homestay. Just at the right and the begining of the cañe kri bay , theres always a groups of reef sharks swimming around . Very nice food !!! Nice and happy family !
• Sudhanshi (5/5): Great location, decent facilities but hostile host - Wife and father of the owner were very friendly and did everything they could to make us feel comfortable. Location is great, right in front of the sea. Facilities are basic but sufficient. Food was good but perhaps not suitable for delicate stomachs (oil used, fresh fruit etc). Based on prior reviews, connection from the airport was straightforward. However, we faced an unacceptable incident from Waisai to Kri. The owner told us he would pick us up from Waisai. First, we got forced to pay 1.6 million IDR together with another couple (i.e. 4 people), while we found out later that standard price for the entire boat is 800k for tourists. These things often happen but when we asked for confirmation about whether the price for only 2 pax was 800k the owner replied “that’s right bitch”. Having had this experience, our check in experience was very hostile. The owner didn’t come to welcome us when we arrived. Someone just pointed to our hut and we got no further explanation or introduction. One day we wanted to go to Piaynemo and asked the father, who was very nice, for the price for a boat ride to and fro. The owner interfered to offer a deal of 5 million IDR (308 USD) for the trip in a very unfriendly manner. Contrary to what is mentioned in other reviews, wifi and laundry services were not available.
• Marco (6/5): Pleasant - In front of the beach, location is amazing, I liked the variety of the meals Internet connection very very poor, no one speaking english, no one explains how everything was working ther. I booked a double bed but my hut had a single on, luckily I was a solo traveller
• Dewis (9/5): Superb - The location is very nice and great for snorkeling. We saw turtles, sharks, rays, etc. in front of the accommodation. The host family was very friendly and did everything to make us guests feel comfortable. The food was always served directly on our terrace and was very tasty and plentiful. The location is great and the accommodation is very cute (natural and simple) and above all everything is very clean. We are now in a hotel on a bigger island and already miss Homestay Intum in Kri :D The bed was a little smelly A hammock would be nice(neighbour had one:-))

• Goitea (10/5): Exceptional - Great Location, super nice and friendly family, you can tell they are just starting but they put lots of effort to make us feel at home, we booked 2 nights and we stayed 6. If you come to Raja Ampat you shouldn't expect luxury everything is very very simple...
• Fleck (8/5): Basic Homestay, beautiful location, good food - Basic homestay at the very end of the beach - A bed, a table, a chair, a toilet. Shared showers in the backyard. A bungalow under trees, shadow on the terrace. it's clean and right at the ocean. depending on tide it's zero to 5 meters from the terrace to the sea. beautiful beach. the food was good, you got tea and water for free 24/7. the owner is very friendly and warm, has a boat and can arrange trips around the islands and to snorkeling spots. He is speaking very basic English. right in front is a beautiful snorkeling reef, in the morning you can see baby sharks swimming at the beach. I stayed for 12 nights. don't expect any luxury, it's a basic bungalow.
