Franchement le petit déjeuner n’était très bon et même le reste. L’indication n’est pas très clair, l’entrée se fait par un café. Personne n’a récupéré mes bagages au check out.

Travaux en cours dans l'établissement lors de notre séjour sans aucune information préalable. Le petit-déjeuner est un peu léger par rapport à ce que nous avons connu dans d'autres établissements de Bali. Le service est vraiment très long que ce soit pour le petit-déjeuner ou pour les autres repas au restaurant. La chambre numéro 4 est moins agréable que les autres chambres car à l'écart est près des travaux du spa. Aucune vue par rapport aux autres chambres.

• Adéla (10/5): - Zejména poloha - úžasné místo přímo na pláži! Vyjímečný přístup personálu, zejména Kadeka, bez kterého by náš pobyt nebyl tak vyjímečný. Kadek pomohl vybavit všechno! Zajistil nám dva krásné šnorchlovací zážitky, navíc mne ještě sám odvezl do města, když jsem potřebovala najít bankomat. Moc děkuji za všechno! Jídlo v restauraci bylo fajn, možnost najíst se přímo na místě byla pro nás praktická. Gekoni v restauraci! Ale s tím je potřeba na Bali počítat :)
• Lennart (9/5): Mysigt boende i lugnt område. - Bra frukost. Personalen är fantastisk. Ett fint område att åka scooter i med lite trafik och fina vägar. Mysig uteplats i skugga. Bodde i två dagar men hade gärna stannat längre. Trappsteget ner till havet var högt.

Rooms are comfortable with everything you need. We could have stayed longer and will definitely be back. It's a shame they close the waterfront dining at 6pm as this is a gorgeous spot to relax and enjoy the view.

• Petra (7/5): Für ein paar Tage ganz nett - Direkte Strand, Laage mit einem schönen Riff Wir hatten uns die Zimmer so nicht vorgestellt es war sehr dunkel, sehr klein und eigentlich kein richtiges Fenster zum aufmachen. Ein dunkler und schattiger Bungalow. Die Tür und auch die seitlichem Schächte waren nicht mit einem Fliegengitter abgedichtet (Moskitonetz) Insgesamt war die Beschreibung aus meiner Sicht nicht richtig. Alte traditionelle Bauweise.

• Terra (9/5): Peaceful, lovely place to stay with very comfortable rooms. A nice place to use as a base for other activities. - It is really beautiful and peaceful there. I liked how quiet it was as it is below the main road and I slept really well. The rooms are lovely, ac worked well and was quiet, and everything seemed fairly new which I think is the case as it was recently built. The food was good as well and the staff is really friendly and helpful. I wanted to go to yoga classes and it is located about 10 minutes on foot from Blue Earth, which also had good food and helped me schedule a few tours. The hotel staff took me places by scooter when I needed a ride which was really great and also set me up with a nice driver and half day tour. I hired Lantur Organize Snorkeling for a snorkeling tour (you can find them in Google Maps). We went to the Japanese Shipwreck first and left at 7am, which was good as the water was calm and no one else was there. It was one of the best things I did. The equipment t was good and every time I got out of the water he put something on the mask and cleaned it before I went back in. I can’t recommend him highly enough. I also found a therapeutic body worker who came to my room and helped with an injury I got as a child. She was very talented and not just a regular bodyworker. I feel like my body has changed from two sessions of deep tissue work with her. Her name is Luh and she is on WhatsApp: +62 857-0893-5603 There are a lot of stairs to get down to the rooms from the road. It is very lovely with a bower of flowers hanging overhead and I didn’t mind it. The staff carried my luggage up and down for me. But for someone elderly I think it would be challenging.

Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Een paar restaurantjes in de buurt. Iets ver van het drukke centrum van Amed. Strand met stenen.
• Chandler (9/5): A gorgeous boutique hotel worth staying at in Amed - A beautiful boutique hotel in a lovely setting in Amed. We had the top suite and it was really beautiful, clean and comfortable with a large elevated terrace area that overlooks the resort. Breakfast was ordered from a menu and there's good coffee! Big menu to choose from for lunch and dinner which you can either have delivered to your room or in the cute restaurant, the food is really good. The hotel organised a snorkel trip for us which was great as well... We saw a turtle and star fish! And so many tropical fish it was worth heading out early to do. It's a bit too far to walk to the main area in Amed where there are more restaurants and massage places and a few shops, although there were a couple of small restaurants you could walk to nearby. The hotel can order transport for you though to get you there and back.

• Sibylle (9/5): - Die Villa ist schön am Strand gelegen. Ich hatte eine Zimmer mit Meerblick, davon aber wenig gesehen, da der Blick von den Bäumen versperrt wird. Es war aber trotzem schön, draussen zu sitzen. Das Zimmer ist geräumig und stilvoll eingerichtet. Das Essen war super! Der Pastasalat war perfekt. Ich kann das Hotel empfehlen. Ca. 8 Minuten vom Hotel entfernt gibt es die Möglichkeit, Yogalektionen zu nehmen. Es hat auch Restaurants in Gehdistanz. Allerdings muss man sich bewusst sein, dass es ausserhalb des Dorfes liegt. Vor dem Hotel hat es momentan eine Baustelle. Dafür kann das Hotel aber nichts.

Nous avons louer un scooter directement a l'hotel ce qui est très pratique. Nous avons egalement pu louer l'équipement de snorkeling. Nous avons regretté de ne pas avoir pris une nuit supplémentaire . L'hotel propose des massages mais il n'y a pas de lieux dédiée. C'était soit a la piscine soit sur la terrasse des chambres, ce qui ne nous convenait pas. Mais je crois quil sont en train de faire des travaux pour créer une pièce dédiée

La pulizia impeccabile, il personale attento e disponibile le camere ampie e sebbene abbastanza minimalistiche, non mancano di tutte le cose essenziali. Kadek e il suo team sono davvero persone eccezionali che con i loro sorrisi e la loro premura hanno reso il nostro soggiorno ad Amed veramente speciale. Consiglio magari di investire un po’ di più e di prenotare le camere vista mare da quella in fondo a sinistra, si riesce a vedere l’alba direttamente dal letto. In generale, comunque, ogni punto del patio più basso è perfetto per vedere l’alba. Assolutamente niente da segnalare

• Denise (9/5): Certainly a lovely spot we would visit again. - Love that we could snorkel straight off the beach. The grounds were beautiful. Restaurant prepared fish we caught on a trip during the day. It was beautiful. Just a little far to walk to shops or restaurants as we don’t ride scooters … and transport is expensive as no Gojek or Grab. Not a lot to do if the weather is bad and you can’t snorkel or fish.

Located so close to central Amed (walking distance) yet so peaceful and calm. The property is extremely well maintained and spotlessly clean. Every attention to detail was taken care of in the beautiful rooms, with appealing decor, ample amenities and attentive staff. The pool was an absolute highlight! Right in front of the beach and sparkling clean and well maintained. The restaurant has an extensive menu and our group tried a variety of meals throughout our stay with no complaints at all. The inclusive breakfast was absolutely delicious! We only stayed two nights and wished we had stayed longer. There was nothing we didn’t like about the property. There is a large staircase that goes down to the villas which would make it difficult for people with mobility issues to access.

• Fiona (10/5): Wonderful. - We love this resort and keep coming back. The rooms are super clean and contain everything you need for a wonderful stay. It’s lovely and quiet, outside the main Amed area but close to snorkel spots and easy access by car or bike to restaurants. Without transport there is a restaurant and bar on site. We like everything.
• Max (7/5): Nice hotel with a room for improvement - The territory of the hotel is big enough and green. It was maintained constantly during our stay. The personal was friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, in a good condition. The room equipment was very good. Even with a small torch and an anti-mosquito repellent. Cute geckos in the Amed area. The beach on the hotel is not suitable for swimming. We tried to do this but got hurt on the sharp corals. Only one option for swimming was to go to Amed. The hotel is located in 15-20 minutes walk in a small village from the main Amed area. Hence, many abandoned areas around, less restaurants and cafes, minimum infrastructure. To have any entertainment we had to go to Amed every day. We got a house without a side window. Hence, all light came from the small windows with shutters but no glass and a door. Due to the private reasons we kept them partially close, so there was a lack of fresh air and light. As the windows had no glass and even no mosquito nets, it felt not too safe to sleep at night due to the wild life outside. It would have been good to have a mosquito net on the vent in the bathroom for the same reasons as well. Maybe it is completely ok for the locals. But for us as tourists it was uncomfortable. Later we stayed at the hotel where these issues were perfectly solved.

The pool and the entire facilities are impeccably clean. The staff is very helpful and attends to any needs you may have. Kadek will arrange snorkeling and other tours for you. He is excellent. I think the restaurant has the best food in the area. Nothing to dislike

Short uphill walk to sunset point (if you are fit). I would not hesitate to return again next time we are Amed. A big thanks to Kadek who made our stay most welcome. • Dinesh (9/5): Beautiful and quiet. - It was vast and clean . The room and bathroom are spacious. Good for 2 pax only. Staff were helpful. A bit of walking up and down via stairs to the lobby and main road. And note there is no telephone connection to the reception. Need to use WhatsApp for comms.

The staff at Dhauteya were all lovely, nothing was too much trouble, and everyone was friendly and helpful - with special thanks to Kadek and Kim. Snorkelling equipment is available and the team can also arrange boat trips for you although there is easy access to the (pebbly) beach at the front of the hotel for swimming and snorkelling and it's a 10-15 mins walk along the road to Jemeluk Bay for more snorkelling over a coral reef and a change of scene. Some good restaurants nearby - Galanga (5-10 mins walk) and Harmony (10-15 mins walk). We liked everything! This is a peaceful place so if you are looking for late night bars or a party atmosphere this is probably not the place for you.

The villas were clean, comfortable and cute—and I can't say enough good things about the staff and the food. Everyone was so friendly and constantly working to keep the property clean of leaves and other debris. Kadek, who helped organize our fishing outing and accommodated our requests in other various ways, is a top-notch resource. So incredibly helpful and friendly. Every single time we asked for something, whether it was extra water or extra towels or slight tweaks to the breakfast menu, the staff quickly and kindly made it happen. I can't recommend Dhauteya Villa highly enough. Seriously. STAY HERE!

The location is amazing , we went to sleep every night with the sound of waves lapping on the shore just metres from our room , The staff are all amazing and were always on hand to help or make sure we were all good and what our plans were for the day. We had never been to Amed before and staying here was a great introduction. There is nothing we didn’t like , It’s peaceful beautiful and we are glad we found d it , You may need a motorbike if you want to go down to the main town area . We always ride bikes and we’re lucky the hotel organised a good quality scooter for us ,

The snorkelling on the reef outside the hotel is better than the one we ha - We stayed in two bungalows and one villa and I loved the villa where we all could sit together on the patio. We were six persons. The resort is very clean, nice staff and good food. The breakfast could have some more choices. We stayed six nights and would have appreciated some more choices but it was not a big thing .
• Olga (10/5): Exceptional - A very cozy place with a wonderfully authentic vibe. The staff is friendly, and everything is spotlessly clean. The villas are made entirely of wood — even the doors and all the furniture! It feels truly traditional and charming. Right behind the pool, there’s a shallow area in the sea with beautiful fish and coral reefs, perfect for exploring. If you wish, the hotel can organize a snorkeling tour for you. They’ll take you by boat to three different spots where you can comfortably admire marine life and underwater sights. Equipment rental is also available, which is super convenient. Breakfasts are delicious, though not overly varied. Overall, it’s an amazing hotel, and I’d happily return here again. Highly recommended! -

• Rikke (9/5): A suggestion: - Beautiful location right on the beach, with ocean view from the room, pool and beach restaurant. Wonderful house reef just few meters off shore - remember to bring your snorkel kit or rent it at the hotel. The staff were smiling and very helpful at all time, did their very best to make our stay great. The food at the in-house restaurant didn’t live up to the standard of the hotel. It was a bit overpriced compare to the quality and several times they were out off simple ingredients. The staff did their best to give us a good time, but at times it was difficult to communicate due to their basic English skills, it resulted in several misunderstandings regarding food ordering.

Whether lounging by the pool, enjoying a delicious meal at the on-site restaurant, or taking a leisurely stroll along the beach, I felt a deep sense of relaxation. Overall, I highly recommend Dhauteya to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and serene retreat by the sea, especially those who appreciate the wonders of marine life. I can't wait to return! The food options at the resort are somewhat limited, and if you're looking for variety, you'll need to venture out. The nearest restaurants are about a ten-minute walk away. However, please note that the road outside is not designed for pedestrian traffic, and in some areas, there are no lamp posts, making it a bit challenging to walk after dark.
• Neville (9/5): Stunning restful location reminding you of Bali as it must have been 30- 40 years ago - A beautifully renovated boutique villa property terraced into land sloping from the road entrance bar/cafe/ restaurant to the sea on beautifully maintained gardens, lawns, terraces and a pool together with another restaurant and bar overlooking the pool and sea on the shore line. The manager and his staff were always on hand to assist or guide you towards activities. If you like chilling, relaxing, diving and/ or snorkelling this place and location is ideal with coral reefs and boats only a few steps and a splash away.

• Elise (9/5): Beautiful property, comfortable and immaculately clean villa, awesome pool and friendly service. - Really enjoyed our stay at D’hauteya Villa and absolutely loved the pool. Kadek was very helpful especially with being able to organise activities if we needed it and the rental of a scooter. The bed was comfortable and the villa was immaculately clean (daily cleaning left the room smelling and looking lovely). It’s great having the cafe and restaurant on site, and we would probably book activities through the villa next time (we had pre booked elsewhere not realising it was an option). We would definitely love to come back here again in the future provided the price stays reasonable. It’s perfectly located between several good restaurants and warungs along the coast which we travelled to by rented scooter. Initial concern with gaps in the windows etc which could allow bugs/lizards etc in so we ensured we used the mosquito nets at night and provided mosquito repellant which turned out to be fine. The doors to the villa are noisy though, and the included breakfast is limited so we would likely book without the included breakfast if that was an option in the future.
• Farah (10/5): Perfect to relax - The hotel is located in a calm area in Amed but near the diving/snorkeling spots. We loved The style and the decoration, the bowls with flowers that made the room always smell good, the cleanness and the commodities, perfect to relax. The room was near the road, so we could hear sometimes during the day motorbikes passing by, but it wasn't annoying for us, because we didn't stay in the room. Also in the night we didn't notice any noise.
