• Lauren (10/5): 10/10 would recommend! - We had a fantastic stay at this villa in Unawatuna. Having the whole villa to ourselves made it feel really private and relaxing. The two bedrooms were both very comfortable with excellent air conditioning, which was much appreciated in the heat. There were also two bathrooms, which made things very convenient for us. The garden and pool area were beautiful — we loved sitting outside watching the monkeys and even a mongoose wandering through the garden. It felt very peaceful and special. The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, arranging a range of activities for us and making everything very easy. His father also helped during our visit and prepared us an amazing Sri Lankan meal on our last night, which was a real highlight. We were given a lovely tote bag on arrival which was such a thoughtful touch. The location was great too — only a short walk to Turtle Beach, around 10 minutes to Unawatuna Beach by tuk tuk/taxi, and about 20 minutes to Galle. The only small downside was that the living area could get very hotter during the day, but overall we had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend this villa to anyone visiting the area.
• Katie (10/5): Beautiful residence with attentive host. Would highly recommend! - Saku residence was an incredible final destination for our Sri Lankan adventure. Host was incredible and organised every driver for our two week trek around the country. The property was clean, pool was lovely and host made every effort to ensure we were well looked after. Only a short 5 minutes by tuk tuk to the main strip which only cost a couple of dollars and easily accessible by heading to the main road. Everything was wonderful. If anything if would be great to have an air conditioner in the lounge room also but we went during one of the hottest periods so i would assume usually having them in the bedrooms would be enough.

• Mirko (10/5): - Malith et son papa sont très accueillant et chaleureux, je recommande à tous le monde, c'est un super endroit niché dans la jungle entouré d'animaux et d'une petite famille de singe. Il y a une très jolie piscine.

С самого начала всё было организовано идеально: хозяева позаботились о трансфере из аэропорта, нас встретили с комфортом и без лишних забот довезли прямо до дверей виллы. Сама вилла поразила своей атмосферой - просторная, уютная и очень ухоженная. Территория утопает в зелени, так как есть красивый сад. Особенно приятно было проводить вечера на террасе, наслаждаясь свежим воздухом и видом на этот уголок природы. Отдельного упоминания заслуживает бассейн с джакузи - чистый, удобный, с подсветкой, что делает купание особенно романтичным в вечернее время. Это стало одним из главных мест отдыха для всей нашей семьи. Большой плюс - организация досуга. Хозяева помогают полностью распланировать отдых: от экскурсий по достопримечательностям и прогулок на лодке до более активных мероприятий. Всё подбирается индивидуально, и нам не пришлось тратить время на самостоятельный поиск. В целом, вилла превзошла все ожидания. Здесь сочетается комфорт, красота и забота о гостях. Это идеальное место для тех, кто ценит высокий уровень сервиса и хочет хорошо провести время. Определённо рекомендую!
• Rankaty Residence (10/5): - Saku Residence is truly amazed us. The photos don’t capture the charm of this place. The residence features a beautiful, spacious living room, two comfortable bedrooms with attached bathrooms and a well-equipped kitchen. Also they have wonderful swimming pool with jaccuzi . The cleanliness is impeccable, and the beds are so cozy it was hard to leave them in the morning. The garden area is perfect for relaxation, surrounded by lush greenery. Numerous birds and squirrels visit the space, and several times, monkeys perched on the palm trees right above our heads. In the evenings, fireflies create a magical atmosphere. The residence offers complete privacy, yet the incredibly caring hosts are just next door. Their kindness, helpfulness, and attention to the smallest details—even in the interior design—are extraordinary. We also enjoyed not only the most delicious but also the most beautifully prepared breakfasts here. At night, it’s very quiet, and the location is just a few steps from a wonderful beach where we swim with turtles daily. The area has plenty of small shops and dining spots, and the kitchen in the apartment offered fantastic opportunities for self-cooking, which we took full advantage of. 100% recommend saku residence - we would definitely come back.
• Peter (10/5): A really enjoyable stay - The heated pool was utterly amazing. The host was brilliant too. The central area got a bit too warm to sit in some evenings. But the bedrooms and sitting outside was great.

If you’re a family looking for a jungle-vibes getaway just a walk from the beach, this place is a hidden gem. Highly recommended!
• Kirill (10/5): This villa multiplies all the positive impressions of Sri Lanka by 2 - the villa is gorgeous! quite a large house, spacious private territory, everything is surrounded by greenery, a wonderful always warm pool. squirrels and monkeys come to the villa every day, you can feed them with fruits with pleasure, sometimes you can spend half a day on this))) an important feature of this accommodation is the polite, attentive and always ready to help owner of the villa Malith! helped with the transfer, was always in touch to improve an already wonderful vacation. his dad brings amazing and different breakfasts in the morning, monitors the cleanliness of the pool and helps with little things. 3 minutes from the villa there is a beach and many shops. I definitely recommend it to anyone who doubts! Personally, we found it a little uncomfortable to sleep in one of the bedrooms because the air conditioner blew directly onto the bed, but there is a second bedroom where there is no such problem. And the mattress is a little hard, but that's a matter of taste. I will not lower the rating for this in any case! These are all minor things.

The owner tries to make everything as convenient as possible for you, absolutely any questions, complete loyalty and openness, it is very valuable. Incredible territory alone with nature, birds, sometimes monkeys come to the trees. Best breakfast and the owner also tries to hear you about breakfast and make it as you want. Everything is absolutely amazing! No any downsides at all

• Gillian (10/5): Wonderful villa, gorgeous pool surrounded by wildlife - The property is beautiful and the wildlife around it makes it extra special, we saw mongoose, monkeys, many birds, lizards and squirrels all in the garden. Malith is an exceptional host, he is so friendly and kind and helped us organise excursions and transfers throughout our stay in Sri Lanka, even after we left Saku, all for a good price and wonderful experience every time. Could not recommend highly enough!
• Samir (10/5): Excellent spot for a family to stay comfortably for a week! - Loved the garden and pool. We’d wake up to birds signing. We loved feeding and watching the monkeys that would hang out in the mornings during breakfast. Turtle beach in his t- 5 min walk from the villa. Malith - the host is super resourceful. He helped us find drivers to Tangalle and the airport. Malith’s dad is also very helpful and kind. Great spot for a family. Also, the Jungle restaurant next door serves some great local food - highly recommended! All good : )

• Maggie (10/5): Exceptional - My husband and I love everything about Saku Residence. The host, the place, the location AND the pool with jacuzzi and bubbles. On arrival, we were greeted by Malith's father. He brought us a beautifully freshly made juice. The place is tidy and clean and well maintained. The pool with jacuzzi and bubbles is AMAZING. There are also lovely lights in the pool at night time. Sitting in the jacuzzi and bubbles is a great way to relax after a warm day at the beach. Location is also great, closed to beaches, shops, restaurants. We have stayed here twice and will definitely continue to come back. Nothing.

• Arsen (10/5): Exceptional - A very attentive owner Malith, he will help solve all your questions. Once, during a severe thunderstorm and downpour, the lights were turned off at night, the owner immediately brought us candles. You can agree on any time for breakfast. We liked everything.
