- Guest (10/5): - Everything was perfect!!!
- Catherine (9/5): - Loved the location, the view was amazing. The home had amazing facilities and lots of space to accomodate us all. It was very clean and tidy. We had difficulties using the oven so it would have been helpful to have instructions on how to use this. The pillows were uncomfortable to sleep on- suggestion on this would be to have spares incase someone needs to double up. There was no iron at the property, there was just an empty box so we weren't able to iron our clothes.
- Sharna (9/5): Beautiful outlook and lots of quirky charm! - Insanely beautiful outlook - the sunsets were unreal and just as beautiful as the photos. Appreciated all the extra gadgets - warm toilet seats in winter was a bit of a luxury! We had a wonderful time. The property has been renovated and extended and as another review states, the kitchen area was possibly once a patio so the layout of some things are a bit odd. - as were some of the decorative choices! The outdoor seating area could do with some work - we were given several camp chairs and a low table to sit at outside, and whilst this was fine for us, the area would definitely benefit from some big outdoor lounges and a table to sit around and enjoy the view. We booked for 9 people and the indoor dining table only sits 4-6 so we were given fold up chairs to use - again, we aren’t fussy but I don’t understand how a property that fits large groups doesn’t have sufficient dining and seating. No huge biggie but worth noting.

- Sheryl (10/5): Outstanding - Lovely location and property. Close to nature featuring lake with magnificent views. Gorgeous comfy home with excellent facilities. The host was very accommodating and responsive. Everything went perfect during our stay.
- Yut (8/5): Very good - The view is unbeatable!
- Hanadi (8/5): The view and outdoor area is stunning - The view and outdoor area is stunning The place wasn't very clean and the vacuum machine doesn't work. Also, there is no coffee machine.
- Miriam (6/5): Overall pleasant experience and great value for money - Beautiful view and great living spaces to spend time with friends Most of the dishes weren’t clean, when I grabbed some plates from the drawers they were quite dirty
- Penelope (10/5): Fabulous house. Perfect for what we needed. Owner was very accommodating & helpful. - View & space with a number of people We had to cut our trip short due to cyclone
- Kim (10/5): Great place for fishing. Good place for groups of friends or family. Will be booking again - Very pretty view. The back door was broken on our arrival, but management and landlord were understanding. We also had our checkin delayed by one hour, but we were able to have a late checkout. Fantastic service Some rooms are a little underwhelming compared to others. One room did not have air conditioning.
- Valeriia (8/5): Good stay, but not immaculate.. - Value for money was great over new years but I suspect these are introductory rates being a new property. Location was good, the place was private. There are a lot of small things that need to be improved, although I still rate the place highly due to the value for money it presented.
1. The layout is really confusing, it's clearly been chopped up to add an extra bedroom (I supposed for more rentability) but this leaves one room with no natural light as a wall has been placed where there was clearly a large sliding door to the balcony. 2. Technology overload. The same bedroom mentioned above has automatic sensor lights that turn on even if someone walks past the room in the corridor with the door shut. We were woken constantly throughout the night as the light turned on and there is no way to turn it off...
3. Form over function. Lots of 'gizmos' like expensive self flushing toilets but the whole kitchen area is actually outdoor and has no air-conditioning as there is no wall. There's also no space for a group to sit outside all together. One of the 'ensuites' is so tight if you are over 6 foot you cannot sit down on the toilet.
4. Materials and cleanliness. The sheets and bedding are all extremely cheap. I know its a rental house but if you want $1-$2k per night you need better linen. The duvet is clearly the cheapest available inner at kmart. The BBQ was really, really dirty and we spent 30 minutes cleaning it before we could eat.
5. Unclear how to lock and unlock front door when we left the house as it's all electronic keypads and the codes were all changed before we arrived.
To summarise... We go away as a group very often and always book large homes. I think this place has a lot of potential to be a premium rental for groups of friends a corporate gatherings but it needs to address some of the issues outlined. Quality beddings, (a couple of rooms with single beds would also be smart...) and more lounge and outdoor seating options are an absolute must. A home that sleeps 10 with one dining table with 6 chairs makes no sense.
