Guest Reviews
- Patricia (9/5): - Well equipped van, clean and comfortable.
Emma the owner was excellent with all communication and nothing was too much trouble for her. It was basically home from home, one really good aspect for us was having the Internet Service provided inside the van, as the Haven Site itself was only available around reception or Wetherspoons. The only downside for us was even though it said Cala Gran is dog friendly, there are no designated areas for dogs to be walked, only on the road around the site, and no areas you can eat with your dog that is a covered area, when we ate at Wetherspoons on our first night we had to sit outside and as it was raining and windy not ideal. Luckily the van was well equipped and we ate there the rest of the time.

- James (10/5): - Caravan was exceptional. Clean and virtually everything was like new. Cala Gran is a bit tightly packed for our taste.. not much space between caravans. But ultimately it wasn't a problem.
- Deborah (10/5): - The owner was very helpful at last minute request. Property is very clean and welcoming
- Ionel (10/5): An unforgettable Hallowen 👀👻☠️💀🤡 - Everything was perfect and very nice, the host very kind and provided us with all the comfort especially in the chapter of very good household appliances and kitchen utensils of all kinds, everything very clean and very good quality,we were six people three adults and three children and was plenty of space for everyone,so in the end was perfect I had a dream weekend, special thanks to the host who helped us with pool appointment so I highly recommended the caravan 49 cherry. Rainy weather😉🤣😂😅you can't mess with nature👋
- Olena (9/5): - Very clean, warm, well-equipped mini-house. We were renting a caravan for the first time and we were lucky to choose this one. Full support from Emma (with arrangements swimming for us, detailed instructions on how to get in, heating etc). Thank you very much for the weekend we spent in this lovely place!

- Glynis (9/5): Nice clean and well equipped van. - Caravan was well equipped and clean, site was quiet, contrary to what other reviews have said we didn't have any bad smell from the landfill site. We had a problem with the keybox on arrival, but owner promptly sorted it out and the security staff were very pleasant and helpful. Had a good stay, plenty activities for children on site and would thoroughly recommend Farmer Parrs farm which is just across the road. The caravan was spacious, everything was in good working condition we were happy with the accommodation and the site had everything we needed. I should also add there was a connection for a games consul on the tv and boxed games and colouring books and crayons, tea and coffee making supplies and ice lollies - but we had brought our own, but I thought it was a very thoughtful touch from the owners. If you rent this van I don't think you will be disappointed. Haven tried to sell me passes which would have been £90 - something I think they quoted, but I declined them, I'm glad I did as we didn't really need them, we didn't use their pool as it wouldn't have been suitable for the kind of swimming we do, it's really just a play and splash type place ideal for young children. We visited a local spa. Went up into Blackpool, and spent most of one day at the farm, which also has a very interesting museum and a good restaurant.
When we arrived it seemed that a seagul had badly soiled one of the windows my husband went out to clean it off only to discover someone had been throwing eggs at the back of the caravan. There was no problem whilst we were there.
I am still waiting for the return of my £50.00 deposit in case of damage (No mention prior to booking)
this was required after the booking fee for the van was paid, and before the keypad number was given note if you have a dog it will be £70.00.
- Scott (9/5): Chalet was clean, comfortable and exceeded our first time expectations. - Hosts and staff really nice. Property was impeccably clean. Just the car parking, which isn’t anything to do with the hosts. Haven have woefully inadequate parking planned. First come first serve, fair enough but cars had to park on verges and double lines, granted Easter Weekend so maybe exceptions but very oversubscribed.
- Kerri (8/5): Very good -
- Robert (9/5): 3 night stay - The caravan was a proper little home from home, but with the amenities of a Haven site on hand.
Alex and Emma were very helpful and informative from the start. Our only criticism was more against Booking.com rather than the hosts themselves as it wasn't listed that there's a £50 refundable deposit. However, I believe this is being amended
- Wendy (1/5): Awful - The site we were on was brilliant as far as the Haven staff facilities and the area around which was easily accessible by foot, public transport ofmr car.. We couldn't want for more The caravan itself.
It failed dreadfully as far as cleanliness, We had to pay a £50 deposit to the owner before we were given the info we needed for our stay, which apparently is refundable on departure after checks. If we were to leave it like this, In this state, we would definitely not get it back. We're not holding our hopes up. The owner when contacted about these issues was rude, abusive, and called me a liar even though I sent her photo evidence.. The oven, microwave dishwasher, shower and kettle had food and/or mould in and around the. There were also other areas that left a lot to be desired.. I ended up booking and staying in an Haven caravan instead, which I had to pay again for. Book with the campsite. Please don't book with Emma & Alex.
