Birger (9/5): Absolutely lovely villa and surroundings and views, be prepared for the house to be far away - Zulay, the hostess of the house was always available to help us with everything we needed. If necessary, she did the shopping for us and brought the groceries to the villa. The location is at the top the mountain which means the views of the Pacific and the surrounding area are stunning. Just what we were after for and the house itself is exactly what we were looking for. Nature is close by and the house is very private and the pool is excellent. However, to get to Samara town for example, it requires a taxi and that is not cheap and the prices are of course not negotiable. The car must also have four-wheel drive to get there. The drive to Samara town takes about half an hour each way.
Boangiu (1/5): Would not recommend - Gaps in the walls/windows and holes in the nets/screen doors allow the jungle wildlife to come into the house. Had a scorpion in the washroom, cicadas inside the house, lizard/geeko inside the food dehydrator. Not an infinity pool, no BBQ, dryer was not working, no spa/wellness center. All showers are outside and unusable after dark due to wildlife. Couldn't stay outside after dark due to various wildlife, including spiders and grasshoppers the size of my hand. Had to leave after the first night and the owner was not helpful or understanding in any way.
