• Tanja (5/5): Es war ok. Mit einigen Mängeln. Zentrale Lage direkt am Bahnhof. - Kleine Kücheneinheit, perfekt um Tee zu kochen. Im Korridor und auch im Badezimmer roch es nach Rauch obwohl die Unterkunft rauchfrei wäre es war ecklig. Der Duschkopf war so kaputt, dass das Haare waschen sehr mühsam war.

• Rebecca (5/5): I wouldn't recommend this place and I wouldn't stay here again. - The room was serviceable and filled all minimum expectations. Good accessibility to stores and train stops for further travel around Berlin. It mainly has one major flaw: The hotel is located right next to a train station, which is very noisy. The room was also very stuffy and got warm even when the weather outside was chilly. It made it difficult to sleep in. While the room was decently cleaned, it was worn and had damage to floor and wall.

Also, every morning neighbors were smoking possibly in the bathroom, which resulted in cigarettes smell in our bathroom through the ventilation system.

• EchCherfi (1/5): 3 Horror Übernachtungen in Appartemenhaus Berlin - nicht hat uns gefallen, sehr schlecht das Appartemenhaus als Hotel 🏨 gehört zum schließen, man kann da nicht schlafen oder ausruhen das Haus ist direkt an die Gleise des S.Bahn Station Noch dazu die Fenster sind nicht stark gegen den Lärm geeignet, man hat an alles gespart, keine Klima, Schmutz an den Wänden, beim Fenster schließen wird das Zimmer wie Eine Sauna, Servicemensch am Telefon sehr unfreundlich und unprofessionell.

• Mariño Moreira (8/5): experiencia en berlín en el barrio multicultural - Lo mejor del alojamiento la cercanía al tren, relación calidad-precio e instalaciones de la habitación. Camas cómodas y buena señal wifi. Buenas facilidades vía Whatsapp y por app. El lugar era tranquilo y muy limpio. Incluía cocina y cápsulas de café por cortesía. Éramos conscientes del ruido que iba a provocar estar cerca de las vías del tren pero igualmente cabe reflejar la molestia causada. A pesar de ello, proporcionan tapones y con la ventana cerrada no hay tanto ruido. La habitación tenía una temperatura elevada aunque perfectamente soportable.

• Aydin (5/5): Effordable but not great - The location is good, and the value for money is passable. The entire process is digitised so that you can pass all the way up without a key or a reception. I was shocked to learn that there is no sink in the kitchenette (!), there is a stove and all other cooking and washing amenities, but no sink (!) The hotel handles the dishes centrally, collects dirty dishes from rooms, and distributes them via a common cupboard. I needed to wash some basics in the bathroom. I can understand the financial logic behind the decision, but the experience was simply gross

Despite of the controller, the heating could not be controlled, it was on continuously although there was 20-25 C outside.

• John (4/5): You get what you pay for. Though I would recomend paying for more. - It's right next to NeuKolln S-Bhan station, making it very convenient to travel into the rest of Berlin. There are multiple supermarkets within a minute's walk. It's cheap for Berlin, and it was nostalgic staying somewhere I thought was permanently closed. The room and bathroom are a good size (for one or two people) and there are plenty of power sockets. The shower also had instant and lasting hot water. It might be a much better hotel in the winter months. I would recommend the Rusticana one stop west, and the Villa Rixdorf a short walk to the north, as very nice and convenient restaurants. I've stayed in the building back when it was the 2A Hostel. The neighborhood has gone drastically downhill since then. The streets are covered in trash which looks like it has never been cleaned up. There are people playing loud music all day long, and drunken people shouting into the early hours, and there is no air condition so in hot weather you have your choice of suffering. The interior was a stark downgrade from when it was a youth hostel, with sub-ikea furniture, and the 'lounge' downstairs closed off for no apparent reason. The shower was so small I had trouble (at 6'2") bending down to pick things up without opening the doors. The fridge freezer was stuck inside an enclosed cupboard with no ventilation, so it quickly became a rather noisy heater, unless you ran it on high during the day (with the door left open) and turned it off at night. In summer the room desperately needs a fan (or two) and it's disappointing one wasn't supplied.

• Gemma (8/5): Nos ha ido genial ! - Muy buena ubicación. A un minuto caminando del tren. Habitación correcta con camas limpias y bien hechas. Baño también muy correcto. Incluye toallas y secador. En la zona habilitada como cocina se incluye cafetera con capsulas de cortesia y infusiones. Se agradece. Comentar dos detalles que podrian ser problemas pero que no lo fueron por la gestión: nuestro apartamento daba a la via del tren y se oían pasar los trenes. Detalle 1 nos dejaron tapones para los oidos, no los hicimos servir, todos pudimos dormir perfectamente sin ellos. Detalle dos: es verdad que no hay pica para fregar pero facilitan un servició de recogida y lavado de platos. Nosotros no lo hicimos servir. Así que estos dos puntos que podrian haber sido negativos estan resueltos satisfactoriamente. Finalmente destacar la comunicación con el apartamento es todo via whattsapp que es un poco frío pero te hacen seguimiento y avisan del checking in i cheking out con antelación y se ponen a tu disposición , así que también perfecto este tema. En la zona hay muy cerquita zonas de restauración y supermercados, así que coger comida y cenar en el apartamento es algo muy fàcil y comodo Todo ok.

• William Noel (5/5): Adequate and functional - I was familiar with the location and style of this property and so knew what to expect and had chosen it because the location suited me for personal reasons and the price was comparatively moderate. It was functional in a basic way. My room was basically furnished and decorated. Although the property backs on to a railway line right at a station and my room was on the south (sunny) and railway side of the property, the noise from the trains constantly stopping and starting from the station was okay when the windows are closed, which was okay for me in April. However, the room was always fairly hot with no heating turned on. The property has not character. It is soulless! There are no reception or staff. I can't imagine how one would manage with the heat and noise in the summertime. Perhaps the smaller rooms which face the street-side (and north side) of the building may be more comfortable in the warmer months. The rooms have no air-conditioning.

We were in a corner run and each day it got really, really warm. It cooled quickly with the windows open, but it was too loud to leave them open. Also, the instruction for how to use public transportation to get to the apartment were wrong due to construction on the system, which made for significant delay.

• Mawunu (1/5): A very disappointing stay, badly handled from start to finish. - Honestly, not much. The only positive point was the promise of a 10% refund after the last-minute downgrade, but even that was never actually paid. We were informed at the last minute that the Family Apartment we had booked and paid for in advance was no longer available due to overbooking, and we were moved to a lower-category apartment instead. When we arrived, we could not even check in on time because the room was not ready. The apartment was far too hot with no clear way to reduce the heating, there was a bad smell in the room for almost the entire stay, and on Sunday morning around 8:35 we were woken up by the fire alarm and had to evacuate the building without any clear explanation. On top of that, the promised refund was never received despite several follow-ups.
