• Laura (10/5): Un séjour inoubliable - Nous venons de passer deux nuits fabuleuses au Conservation Lodge. Tout était parfait : peu de logements, construits pour s’intégrer à la nature, un panorama époustouflant depuis la terrasse et la chambre. Tous les repas étaient délicieux, élaborés et bien présentés. Mais surtout, l’équipe rend l’expérience incroyable : souriants, ils nous ont fait la surprise de fêter notre anniversaire avec un gâteau et des chants. Mention spéciale pour le jeune homme adorable au service. Notre guide, Rían, était fantastique : passionné, il prenait le temps de nous montrer, on a appris plein de choses ! Les paysages et les animaux sont fantastiques. Merci encore, ce sont des souvenirs gravés à jamais! Rien ! tout était parfait !

• Susanne (10/5): Tolle Lodge in beeindruckender Landschaft - Hier hat alles gepasst. Das sehr gut ausgestattete Chalet mit Blick auf den See, die großzügige Terrasse des Chalets mit bequemen Liegen. Das überaus zuvorkommende und sehr aufmerksame Personal. Das hervorragende und sehr leckere Essen. Die ganze Atmosphäre der Lodge war so richtig zum Wohlfühlen und sehr persönlich. Die Gamedrives mit Rian waren ein absolutes Highlight - und dann noch der Besuch eines Elefanten am Abend vor der Terrasse des Haupthauses. Die Anlage ist nicht eingezäunt und es können jederzeit Tiere durch die Anlage laufen. Uneingeschränkte Empfehlung. Nichts, es war alles bestens.

• Vaupell (10/5): Prachtige omgeving en een uitstekende accommodatie - Honeyguide ligt prachtig in het Entabeni park. De weg ernaar toe is al een feestje. Je wordt iedere keer onthaald als je terug komt van een gamedrive en het valt op dat de mensen plezier hebben in hun werk. Onze gids - Ryan - had zoveel kennis en liefde voor de dieren, die hij graag deelde. Dat voelde je aan alles. De accommodatie ziet er prima uit. De chef heeft ons meerdere keren verrast met het eten, wat doet hij dat goed. Een lekkere massage gehad. Niets, we zijn erg tevreden. Houd dit zo vol.

• Francis Van Der merwe (9/5): Romantic and Unique stay in nature - Great food! Lovely big five sightings with our knowledgeable ranger Riaan. He is very experienced and learned us many new and interesting facts. Beautiful and unique location in the mountains. Newly build reception area which is beautifully decorated with comfortable seating and an infinity pool overlooking the safari plains. The lodge is not fenced so animals come right up to the lodge, so you have big five sightings right infront of the lodge. The rooms are still quite old style compared to the reception, and can benefit with some block out curtains and some better pillows on the bed. A screen or divider between rooms will also be beneficial so that you dont look straight into your neighbour balcony and room for more privacy. The barmen can be more attentive in the day time, we had to walk from the pool to the bar to order drinks. The evening staff was great and kept your glasses full. Meat portion is a little small for south Africans but if you speak to the chef he is willing to accommodate you with any food request so that was not a big problem and we did enjoy the food.

Max four cars out at the same time which is great for the experience and the animals, unlike larger parks where there can be 20 cars surrounding the animals. the staff is absolutely wonderful. good food. view of elephants, hippos and much more from the room. everything has worked perfectly. fantastically beautiful location with the mountains in the background. 10/10! -

• Ilona (10/5): - Alles. De safari’s iedere dag 2 x de mogelijkheid om mee te gaan. Kamers( huisjes) zijn fantastisch. Personeel voortreffelijk en vriendelijk .Eten was heerlijk. Het was all inn, behave de drankjes moet je betalen. Het is uit de buurt van een plaats. Maar je komt daar echt tot rust
• Kristian (10/5): Wonderful safari experience, incredible views, clean rooms and friendly staff. - Wonderful staff, newly renovated restaurant and common areas and clean rooms. Friendly rangers and peaceful location with amazing views towards majestic mountains.
• Jordy (10/5): Geweldig uitzicht en verblijf - Ik kan geen slecht woord over dit verblijf zeggen! Ondanks dat ik te laat aankwam en de game drive al vertrokken was, zorgde het personeel ervoor dat ik alsnog kon aansluiten – geweldige service. Het personeel is supervriendelijk en behulpzaam, het eten is heerlijk en vanuit alle lodges heb je een prachtig uitzicht op de waterplas waar dieren komen drinken. De excursies zijn uitstekend georganiseerd met goed getrainde gidsen. Kamers zijn modern en van alle gemakken voorzien en zijn alle gemakken en er zit ook een klamboe om je bed heen tegen de muggen waar je totaal geen last van hebt aangezien het rondom het bed zit en niet om jezelf heen. Absoluut een aanrader!

Nothing in particular, probably an update to the interior of the villas will be great (even if now they are ok), more aligned with the rest of the structure.

Honeyguide Conservation Lodge provides the perfect balance of the bush and opulent luxury. If you're looking for privacy, romance and a tranquil escape, this is the place for you. Apart from the impeccable views, modern and pristine furnishings as well as amazing food, the staff at the Lodge really captured our hearts. They went over and above the call of duty, far exceeding my usually high expectations to deliver a perfect weekend getaway for my partner and I. Conny, Kate and Proud hosted us perfectly and paid attention to every detail you could think of. Our guide, Katlego was a true gem. She was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, interactive and exceedingly passionate about her job. She ensured that we got to experience the Big 5 whilst ensuring that we were safe and comfortable at all times. Thank you to Chefs Precious, Grace and Nelisiwe for making sure that our stomachs were always as full as our hearts with the most delicious dishes. Thank you for the beautiful and delicious cake and private dinner, ensuring that my partner’s birthday was truly special. I could go on forever about this place. This was undoubtedly our most memorable escape thus far. Thank you, we will surely be back. I would advise guests to travel in a big car as our little hatchback did struggle to navigate certain parts of the terrain.

• Silke (10/5): Stunning - I spent four days at Honeyguide Conservation Lodge and had a wonderful time. The staff and the Lodge Managers Madri and Wimpy are all very very friendly and helpful. I am gluten sensitive and the chef took special care about that - the food was delicious. The location is just fantastic: At night you can hear the Hippos down at the lake and the animals walk near by or even through the Lodge. The game drives were extraordinary and my Ranger Nic was very sensitive and respectful about the animals, always left them their space and has huge knowledge about animals (not only mammals), wildlife and flora that he is happy to share. I wish I could come back soon, thank you so much! Silke I liked everything.
