- jackie (10/5): A paradise stay at Margaritaville in Orlando - beautiful resort, you feel like you are in paradise. This is our fourth time at Margaritaville Resort Orlando. Room is clean, roomy and very comfortable beds. Pool is very clean, water temperature perfect. Food and cocktails around the pool are so good. We had breakfast in the hotel lobby, everything was delicious. Loved everything!

Eerste nacht al dat de gordijnen niet goed dicht gaan, er buiten een lamp van de parkeren vol op je raam schijnt waardoor een heel blok met kamers verlicht zijn. 2 uur ‘s nachts en ik denk het is ochtend. - CarlaL702 (8/5): Great hotel with some wonderful staff. Unfortunately a couple of things left us feeling disappointed. - The hotel is beautiful, bar staff are amazing. However there are a couple of things that left us feeling a little let down. We booked our stay for 13 nights a pool view suit. Room was lovely and well appointed or so we thought, after the first night we realised room 206 on the first floor near the main area was at times, really noisy!! I don’t think people realise that there are rooms that close so don’t consider how loud they are being especially at night after being in the bar or out for the evening. Also the sofa bed we had for our third family member was really uncomfortable, giving her back ache. We spoke to reception about the noise and sofa bed and was met with a blank stare, we said we would see how we got on with the noise but needed an extra quilt (comforter) to put over the mattress as our daughter could not get a comfortable nights sleep. We attempted this four times, over 2 days as each time housekeeping would just bring an extra sheet, in the end my daughter used the quilt she had on top of the mattress and then had to make do with a sheet on top. All of this would have been overlooked and we were talking to family about coming back, however the final disappointment was on check in we asked if we could have an extension on our last day, our flight isn’t until 7pm. We were told we could arranged this the night before, however when we asked the night before we were told to phone a number in the morning which we did. We spoke to a really helpful lady who gave us some options and decided we would spend the money and have the room until 2pm. We went to reception to organise and was met with a no, there is no availability. We’ve managed to get a checkout at 12 as we did say what on earth has changed within the hour. So unfortunately that was the final thing for us, we probably won’t arrange to come back. We leave in a couple of hours and would like to thank the staff that we’re helpful and friendly.

- AniJ118 (8/5): Great resort for families with kids! - Overall Rating: 3.5/5 We just got back from spending 3 nights at this resort over spring break as a family of 7. We were really looking forward to a fun, relaxing stay, and while there were definitely highlights, a few consistent issues impacted our overall experience. Rooms The rooms are a decent size and generally comfortable. Our balcony faced the parking lot, which wasn’t the most scenic view, but on one evening we were able to see fireworks in the distance, which was a nice surprise. The hotel also respected our request for having the two room next to each other, which made the stay for our kids even better. That said, the overall upkeep did not meet expectations for a resort at this level, and attention to detail is lacking. Room Cleaning This was one of the biggest disappointments of our stay. Housekeeping was not up to standard—we noticed things like a granola bar wrapper left on the floor, a used Keurig tea pod not replaced, and the room clearly not being vacuumed. It felt like basic cleaning steps were missed, which took away from the overall experience. On one of the days, we returned to our rooms around 2 PM and they still hadn’t been cleaned yet, which was inconvenient given the timing. Check-in Experience Check-in is listed as 4 PM, but we only received one room right at 4 PM and the second closer to 4:30 PM. Getting rooms after the stated check-in time is frustrating, especially when traveling. We checked out at 6 AM which was way before the 11 AM checkout time, so this delay was disappointing. We also noticed several other families getting visibly annoyed as they were still waiting for their rooms past 4 PM, so this didn’t seem like an isolated issue. Pools The pools are definitely a highlight. We spent most of our time at the “Rim Pool,” which is the largest and has a fun, lively atmosphere with music. The lake nearby adds to the overall ambiance—it’s a beautiful setting. One downside: pools only open at 9 AM, so early morning swims aren’t an option. Service was inconsistent. One day, our poolside server was attentive, friendly, and made the experience great. Another day, service was noticeably lacking, with long gaps and minimal interaction. This inconsistency stood out. Dining The on-property restaurant is good overall, but not very vegetarian-friendly, which limited options for us. On the plus side, the location is excellent—there are several restaurants within walking distance, offering more variety. Lobby & Atmosphere The lobby is a standout feature—beautifully designed with plenty of seating and a great vibe. The live music adds a really nice touch and makes it a fun place to relax and hang out. Location & Accessibility The resort is conveniently located, about 20 minutes from major theme parks, which makes it a great base for exploring the area. One thing to note: when we asked the concierge, we were told taxis are not readily available on-site. While rideshare apps like Uber work fine, it’s something to be aware of. Overall, we had a great time. This resort has a lot going for it—the pools, location, and overall vibe are great. However, the inconsistencies in housekeeping and service bring down the experience. With better attention to cleanliness and operational details, this could easily be a much stronger stay.

Check your daily charges carefully and ensure you are knowledge about what daily rate you are paying BEFORE you finalize your reservation. The daily rate for your stay will change, despite knowledge of your daily rate at time of booking the reservation. Ask about AAA discounts as reservations and reception desk will not ask and will not honor discounted rate after you book your reservation. The resort also adds a "food and beverage" tax to your daily rate. The daily food and beverage tax is charged despite every food purchase is otherwise charged a sales tax and even if no food is ordered at the resort. When questioned about this charge, there was no explanation and it was removed (likely because it is illegal to charge a sales tax twice or charge a tax on services which are never rendered) The resort also charges a 20% gratuity on EVERYTHING irrespective of the size of the party being served and/or the quality the services rendered. The 20% gratuity is also applied to all spa services, irrespective of your spa experience. This leaves all employees with no incentive to lend the highest level of customer service as they receive 20% irrespective of their quality of service and employees (even the management) unwilling to address any concerns which are raised. Of all potential resort options in Orlando, Margaritaville is not worth returning to.

- chriswcfd (2/5): Poor customer service - Updated 3/29/26: Upon check in today we were told our cottage had a hot tub as requested and had a loft, but when we got inside the cottage, no hot tub and no loft. Called the front desk, and they now say there's nothing they can do, even though they just literally told us it had one. Very poor customer service. They didnt try to help us. So far terrible customer service. Ill update the overall stay when we leave and how Margarittaville handles our situation. 5 days ago; I can't rate the overall stay just yet as we aren't due to arrive until this coming Sunday (which i will update after our stay), however so far the registration / customer service has been wrong. We were specifically told something at registration 2 months ago that is different than what I was just told 2 days ago with regards to our cottage, and I am not happy since we were also considering a Disney Resort. Here we reserved a 3 bedroom cottage and multiple days of 12 person cabanas for our family. Ill update after our stay

Here are the pros (many) and cons (few)... PROS: Clean Beautiful pool with plenty of seating (the majority of the seats are in the sand and you have to rush in am to "save" a seat on the pool deck) They give you two fresh pool towels per person per day Bar service at pool (2-3 bars open, depended on the day) and servers come around Nice bathrooms - clean, decent towels, and excellent water pressure Great pillows Very pleasant interactions with all employees Lots of activities offered 2 warm water bottles given daily (not sure why they don't put them in room fridge) CONS (mostly nitpicky): Not one hook for a robe, towel, or hat - just a few hangers in closet Bed is REALLY high up Bathroom lighting is not awesome and the only way to have a night light is to leave a big light on Pool music is LOUD (some days it was so loud, I couldn't even listen to my audiobook) Chill pool is lame - it's just an unheated pool (we thought it was going to be "chill," as in quiet, or adults only (not at all) They only start bar service at 11, but pool is open at 9. Some days they checked bags and would not allow you to bring anything in, even if it was purchased at the hotel store. Seems very "Big Brother" Shuttle does not go to Disney Springs Smell in lobby and hallway is very strong and chemical-y
