- Gisela (8/5): Wir haben ihn genossen :-) - Lage und Anbindung war super! Nichts, alles okay
- Rolf (7/5): -
- Sandra (9/5): - Freundliche, zweckmäßige Einrichtung mit allem, was man braucht. Netter Kontakt, super Lage und ruhig Beleuchtung im Badezimmer unzureichend
- Robert (6/5): Great neighborhood, safe parking - I've been to Dresden several times, so the location is the reason I picked the apartment (great coffee shop right in front) particularly as it had safe, underground parking. BTW, it is not anywhere as tight as some reviewers say (there was a Ford Transit parked comfortably next to us), probably as they have never been to Paris so have no idea what actual, tight parking looks like. Anyway, the apartment was clean but obviously just set up as a rental. Not that this is a bad thing. But when an apartment is set up this way, it looks good in pictures but is not particularly practical. For example, the lighting was poor, the kitchen was tiny and the sofas, which looked great, had pop-up armrests that un-popped if you actually rested an arm on them. Not great if you like to rest arms. And there were no pillows, so one couldn't comfortably put their feet up on the coffee table, which is OK unless someone likes putting feet comfortably up on coffee tables. On the other hand, the bed was big with a good mattress (no springs, I hate springs). The inside blinds did a surprisingly good job keeping the sleeping area dark. Well, perhaps it was just my being dense, but the key pickup instructions were clear until I got to "then on the left side of the house wall, are two tubes embedded in the wall." It was translated from German, so I assumed something was lost in translation as all I saw were two metal disks that looked like covers to electrical conduits. What I failed to realize was that I was in Germany and German engineers have no qualms drilling two big holes into a perfectly good wall just to hide lock boxes behind what lookes like covers to electrical conduits instead of, like everyone else, simply locking the lock box to the closest immovable object (even though, once in France, that object was a block and a half away). Fortunately, the landlady, who was very nice even if her English was not very good, was there, so we eventually got in. Whew.
