Guest Reviews
- Joseph Lester (8/5): - Location Coudnt use carport
- Aleisha (5/5): Good stay with room for improvement - We enjoyed our stay overall, especially because the property was dog‑friendly, which made travelling much easier for us. There was plenty of space for our family of four, and the house was stocked with useful amenities like towels, kitchen essentials, and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was excellent too—close to shops, dog parks, and our family, which made getting around very convenient. There were a few downsides. The air-conditioning didn’t work throughout the house, and although the split system in one room functioned, the rest of the house stayed quite hot. The place was not as clean as expected, with dirt under the furniture that our dogs kept sniffing out. The bathroom had a fishy smell, which was a bit unpleasant. The backyard was messy, so we couldn’t leave the dogs outside safely. It would really help if there were a fence separating the front and back yards so pets could be outside securely.
Overall, the stay had good potential, especially for travellers with pets, but a few improvements would make a big difference.
- Warren (6/5): Reasonable but some attention to the issues mentioned would improve the stay for the next travellers - The house facilities were reasonable - kitchen, heating, bathroom, laundry and bedrooms. We couldn't get the TV to work on local channels (there was no aerial cable in the house to connect the TV to the wall socket) and the "hot tub" was just a bath (not a hot tub). The backyard could do with a mow. All considered, it was still a reasonable stay and the location - being within 1 km of the shops in Kalgoorlie -was good.
- Terri (7/5): The house has an ageing atmosphere, however it was clean and allowed pets. - Close proximity to the town. I think that the cutlery drawer could do with a bit of attention, as all items were not up to standard. We used our own. Being pet friendly, I felt that there could have been a side fence and a gate to keep animals at bay. The BBQ was not usable. And the condition of the back yard was not pleasant.
- Jasmine (7/5): Only there for a couple of days so worked for us. - Private and roomy and close to town. Large lounge room and 2 bedrooms. Lounge and dining area nice. Kitchen was bit greasy and dirty dishcloths, could do with thorough clean in that area, kitchen cupboards messy and bit grotty. Bedrooms were roomy but carpet very stained. Outside area could be great but needs cleaning up. Not luxury but could be great with a few tweaks. HOST was good to deal with.
