- Robert (10/5): Will definitely stay there again. - Bed very comfortable, fresh flowers in the room, sea view, cooked breakfast was excellent, fresh fruit available and the staff are lovely. The garden is pretty and the area quiet. Very near Holmbush bus stop, in the same place as the car park. It's up a short hill. That wasn't a problem for me because it's very near to the centre of Lyme Regis. Local buses are not particularly on time so ask for recommendations for a local cab service, just in case, if you have mobility issues.

- Jill (9/5): Relaxed and comfortable hotel in an ideal location for us. - Excellent breakfast! Lovely staff. Location for us was perfect. It is a steep descent to and from the centre of Lyme Regis but still perfectly doable and you get to see some magnificent views of Lyme Regis both ways. Taxis are available and reasonable as it is not too far. We only stayed one night but would definitely stay again if we went back to the area. Our particular room was large and airy.

- Joanne (8/5): The four of us really enjoyed our stay at Kersbrook but we all felt that the above issues could have been avoided with a - The rooms were clean and bright with comfortable beds and lovely crisp bedding. The cooked breakfast was truly excellent, plus there was a good choice of fruit and cereal. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. There was nothing really that we disliked but there were just a few little details that could be improved upon. Our friends had no towels in their room upon arrival. Whilst tea & coffee making facilities were provided in the rooms there was no milk available and we had to borrow some from the care home opposite, however, this was rectified by the owner as quickly as possible. Pastries were listed on the breakfast menu, which my husband would always choose over a cooked breakfast, however, availability of pastries/croissants was very hit and miss. The owner advised an honesty bar would be left in the lounge each evening. Whilst this was the case on the first two evenings, on our third and last evening when we all wanted a drink before going out to dinner, there was no honesty bar.

Lovely views from the bedroom of the beautiful garden. I was kindly given the choice of a larger room on arrival which was greatly appreciated. I had a problem with the toilet flush in my bedroom and was disappointed with the response. A very minor suggestion is to have tissues in the bedrooms.

- Ursula (8/5): - Unser Gastgeber im Kersbrook war sehr nett und hilfsbereit, auch was Restaurant-Tipps betraf. Leider war nur noch ein sehr kleines Doppelzimmer frei. Aber es hat gereicht für eine Nacht und hatte alles nötige was es braucht. Unser Auto konnte wir gratis parkieren und das Frühstück war sehr gut. Lyme Regis ist ein hübscher kleiner Ort. Man muss sich bewusst sein, dass die Unterkunft am Hang oberhalb des Örtchens liegt und man etwas 10-15 Min (je nach Kondition) hinunter und später wieder hinauf muss. Aber ist gut machbar und sollte einem nicht abhalten hier zu buchen!

Beautiful view from our room (which actually faced the backyard, but it was still gorgeous). Great location. Walkable. Alex suggested a moderately difficult hike to us that was one of the highlights of our entire trip. Fantastic homemade full English breakfast. And we loved Lyme Regis (Lyme Regis Brewery and Millside Restaurant (get the sole!) were two of our favorites). The B&B could have been a bit updated, but it's very historic, so its simplicity lended to the experience.

- Giovanni (10/5): I went to Lyme Regis specifically for fossil hunting, and it turned out to be a truly relaxing trip - I absolutely loved the historic charm of this 18th-century building, along with the excellent breakfast and the warm hospitality of the owners. The location is ideal, as the beach and all the local amenities are just a short walk away

- Nikki (9/5): - Loved the old building had a view of the sea really accomadating staff asked if I could have baked beans with my cooked breakfast as not on menu was told if they had some I could The quilt on our bed the material in it was all clumped up showing that it was an old quilt i woke at 11pm cold as felt really only a sheet over me Remembered seeing blankets in cupboard grapped them and put on top of me In the morning took look at blankets the blue one had two holes in it just needs sewing up The tv remote in our room did not work and the tv itself only allowed us really one channel as you couldnt move it up or down

- Cassandra (10/5): - Very welcoming, go out of their way to accommodate. The owner even gave us some free drinks for my son's 18th. Me and my son had a wonderful stay over the weekend, we loved their boardgames and discovered we love to play chess together. You won't be bored if the weather is bad and you decide to stay in during the evenings. We enjoyed going on the hunt for fossils and walking along the coast. We plan to come back again with the whole family and look forward to it. We didn't eat out as it would have gotten too expensive but there is a tesco close by, I would recommend maybe a small mini fridge in the room for this reason but 1 night didn't do any harm for my ham and coleslaw.

- Nicholas (10/5): Short break for single traveller in Lyme Regis - I have stayed here on a few occasions and have alway had a pleasant time. Well placed for town, cobb and the rest of the seafront Rooms are comfortable, even the single room I usually have, and doubles are a good size . Free parking is a real bonus in LR .Great breakfast always freshly cooked if you go for that option with plenty of choice . Staff are always friendly and attentive which makes this’s very good choice . I feel it’s great value stay To be honest nothing springs to mind

- Paul (6/5): Excellent food, not so good room... - Breakfast was excellent, the check in girl was very polite and helpful, on the whole, staff were all very polite and attentive, room was ok but has scope for a few improvements, location was at the top of a steep hill, so a certain level of fitness is required, slightly overpriced for what you get. I didn't like the black marks in bathroom tile grout, the extractor fan was thick with dirt, the bath was to small for a man of my size 6' 16st, a shower would have been better, bed was way to soft, and there was no heating in the room despite radiators being on in other parts of the house and the stairs to the room were very steep and narrow, worst of all, the TV remote barely worked.

The location is excellent - we were able to walk everywhere from there. The garden is nice too. The only improvement would be to put a shower curtain - for some reason there was none. Also, I was in an attic room so I had to duck to have a shower because the roof was low, something to think about if you're tall like me.
