• SHANE (9/5): Great place on the highway to stay with pub a short walk away. - I stayed just 1 night on my way home. Jody sent me details how to check in and even called me. Was very easy checking in. I had a single room that was very comfortable, great bed. Even had a small desk which a lot of places I have stayed don't have when you need to do some work. Shared kitchen was really good, just help yourself to breakfast. I woke up early and was able to get something to eat before hitting the road again. Thanks Jody.

On se sent tout de suite intégrés dans cette ambiance familiale très chaleureuse. Un immense merci à toute la famille pour leur hospitalité, nous n'avons strictement rien à redire. Mention spéciale pour les deux chiens de la maison, qui sont absolument adorables ! C'était un sans-faute, nous recommandons les yeux fermés.

• Sandra (9/5): Stay at Bushchooks Travellers Village - It was a great stop over for one night with excellent facilities and a great camp kitchen with a free breakfast. The owner was very friendly and recommended the hotel for a great feed. It was a bit noisy from the truck traffic going past on the highway. Lucky we had ear plugs.

• Jaymee-Anne (3/5): welcomed, but when i tried to sleep the noise of other guests and the road + light kept me awake - I liked that the staff were friendly i didn't like the noise - paper thin walls sharing other guests TVs and the highway, the bright light of the air-con and under the curtains painted the room in light, no bin (there was a toilet bin for sanitary items but not a waste bin in the room for general waste), no shampoo or condition in shower - only body lotion. Breakfast was very poor, on booking.com breakfast was advertised as continental but in reality a shared camp kitchen of open cereal and frozen bread.

• Robert (10/5): Perfect, restful spot to stop off during our trip from Townsville to Brisbane. - The free breakfast in the camp kitchen created a nice community feel. Blinds covering the windows behind the couch in cabin 2 would have helped keep kids asleep, but no biggie.

• Menzel (10/5): Great place to stay, we will stop there again - Jody was very friendly and helpful. Her two dogs were very well behaved and enjoyed a having a pat. The local pub was conveniently walking distance for a great meal after a long day travelling. The grounds were well maintained and the cabin was clean and comfortable.

A great place to hang out if there are a few of you travelling. The staff were so friendly and helpful The rooms were a little bit small but comfortable enough.

Ich habe es aber nicht genutzt, da ich nie frühstücke. Es gab einen Parkplatz. Man stellte mir auch noch einen Fön zur Verfügung. Danke. Das Zimmer war sehr sporadisch eingerichtet. Eigentlich für 2 Personen gedacht. Ich fand es für 1 Person schon sehr eng. Ich bekam ein Zimmer weiter hinten. Leider nicht für sensible Ohren geeignet.

• Victor Camilo Goncalves (8/5): Good value for money in Bororen. - The bed was surprisingly comfortable. For the price we paid, it was a very positive surprise. I also was not expecting breakfast to be included (another positive surprise). There was toast with jam, butter, Vegemite, and peanut butter. There was instant coffee and tea... Ah, and Jody was super friendly. The room is just a donga, so it was fairly noisy from the other guests and road traffic (as the accommodation is literally on Bruce Highway). The bed was just a double-sized bed. My partner and I are tall, so the bed felt small.

Jeff and Jodi have updated facilities and are willing to help you. I love that they are now dog friendly and have worked wonders on the gardens. A great place to rest, relax and meet people.

The room was small but sufficient for someone needing a place to sleep. Camp kitchen was great and well setup Wife is a light sleeper the air conditioner was a bit noisy. She probably should of turned it off when she was ready to go to sleep

• Sally (10/5): A welcoming place to stay. - The location was perfect for me travelling from Yeppoon to Hervey Bay - approximately half way. I had a bit of car trouble so I rang to let Jody know I may be later than originally planned. She reassured me that she would be there to greet me regardless of the time I arrived. Jody gave me the warmest welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Jody and Jeff are the nicest people you'll ever meet. Jeff checked out my car the next day to reassure me all was ok. The room was lovely and cool for my arrival. I had been camping for the last month so a comfortable fresh bed and bathroom was a much appreciated luxury. The communal kitchen was close by - clean and so well stocked with everything that you might need for breakfast in case you didn't have time to buy provisions. Despite being conveniently located right on the highway, there was little noise. I can't recommend Jody and Jeff's Bushchooks Travellers Village enough. A real home away from home. I look forward to staying again.

Für einen Stopp-Over jederzeit gerne wieder! Die Zimmer sind nur kleine Mobilehome-Kabinen. Aber alles sauber und wie in Beschreibung angegeben. Der Highway ist je nach Zimmer gut zu hören.

She showed us the facilites and recommended a place to have dinner since we got there quite late. We really enjoyed the kitchen, you have everything you need and more. If you bring your food you can totally make a full meal there. Also, the included breakfast was a total bonus for us!
